So it has been 5+ years since!! I have returned back to my hometown of Washington DC, but let me just say it's just as beautiful as I left it; with of course some changes do to the times but I digress ... what made it such a beautiful sight wasn't only the view but the tour I was given, normally I don't do tours ... Actually thinking about it fully since I am a Washingtonian we assume we know enough of the area to have it not cross our minds ( boy was I wrong) . But seeing how it been so long I wanted to get reintroduced to it by doing one through PadillaDCtours and I am really so glad I did !! Besides their mode of transportation being impressive making you fill like ur VIP, they had snacks and water handy and other items that made the ride comfortable. But the awesome part was how knowledgeable they are of the area where they know of other sites besides the usual ones monument, Lincoln memorial etc. and the conversation and trivia made it more special I can't say enough of how overjoyed I am of choosing them to return for a home visit. most def I recommend you won't be disappointed cuz I definitely wasn't and I'm already plannomg another tour in the future!! What I've got: My family and I had a wonderful tour experience with Jose Padilla and we could not be happier with our monumental memories with @padilladctours as our guide. Mr Padilla took us to the national mall and and on an exclusive VIP US Capitol private tour followed by magnificent museums (Portrait Gallery) and historical places such as the somber Fords Theatre, where our beloved 16th president Abraham Lincoln met his untimely demise. Mr Padilla was so engaging that we gladly paid for another day in his home state of Virginia, touring the incredible Mount Vernon estate on the banks of the Potomac and our most sacred grounds, the rolling hills of Arlington Cemetery. I took this company and in one day I saw all the important places in Washington , learned more of the US History , had an incredible time and visited a couple of secret gems. Like the Dumbarton Oaks museum and Hay Adams Hotel. That hotel is frequented by politicians, papparazzi and journalists. Quite an incredible place with a gorgeous view . They have the famous pear martini which is incredible . Jose knows more history and fun stories about the famous Washington people than any historian. I figured that I would take the children to explore Washington DC instead of a C. Cruise. José made my decision easy.
