This is the place for dog owners that's for sure. It's a cute boutique right in the middle of the Mill Creek town center. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about their stuff. The dogs love walking in the store too because they always get treats. Although the stuff in here is pricey, it carries more and better stuff for pets than the traditional pet stores. Love this place! The new store location (just down the way from the old store) is much bigger and brighter. They have a great selection of dog foods and a good selection of toys and other products. The staff are generally happy to take time to listen to your pet's dietary needs and recommend an appropriate products. I have found their prices to be competitive with Mud Bay - sometimes lower, sometimes higher; but never by much. And they carry Orijen and Acana which I can't get at Mud Bay. I especially like this business because they give back to the local pet community; either by sponsoring events such as DockDogs at the Mill Creek Street Festival, supporting cat rescue with dedicated in-store space, and sponsoring dog adoptions events in the courtyard. This is an adorable store. If you happen to be in Mill Creek Town Center you should pop on in even if you don't have a pet. This is one of those stores you can spend a good chunk of time in and pick up every item and try and figure out a reason to buy it - for your pet, for your friend's pet, whatever! Really cool store right in the middle of the Mill Creek Town Center. Surprisingly clean and very well kept for a pet store. Usually they stink to high heaven and have noticable messes all over the place. Paddywack's really organized and well-run. They have a variety of healthy dog treats (which is awesome since most regular places just sell the junk) and dog food. Lots of cool toys and gadgets as well. They welcome dogs inside too. This place is great! They have an amazing selection of toys for cats & dogs which works out well since I have both. I bought my cat a collar here after having gone through about 10 from other stores. he loves to scratch them to bits until they aren't wearable anymore. This one has lasted 2 years!! More recently I've stopped in to buy toys for both my animals and have had amazing success with both. The staff is helpful and kind. And even better... they support rescue animals which I love! Despite the fact that it's a small store that have a ton of options for food and toys. I will definitely be back! read more

I have to agree with the previous reviews, i love this place. Janet is awesome and really knows her stuff. It's a little expensive, but they only carry items that are good for your dog (I don't know about the cat stuff), and have a great variety of frozen meat too. We've been to mudbay a few times and while they have good products some of the staff seem a little snooty. We've never had that issue at paddywack. read more

I had the worst experience today at Paddywack's in Mill Creek. The owner, ADAM was extremely rude. My family and I have been shopping at Paddywacks for over 10 years and have previously adopted a cat from this store about two years ago. We are in the market for another cat or two and I was so excited to see the kittens. I was told that we treat this "petting" program like a ZOO. Why offer this program and have people sign in to see the cats if that's how the owner feels! He is rude and SHOULD NOT be working in a customer based field. I will be making my adoption else where. Also, while we say hi to the cats from time to time we have always made purchases. That's business lost and word of mouth goes a long way. Their selections great, especially the bulk treats! The $10 off per $150 spent is an added bonus that keeps us coming back. This is easily the best local pet supply store around, with great people who are always friendly and helpful. I stop in frequently to get food, toys and other supplies for my cats, and they have great prices on so many quality products. As the store's catchphrase implies ("Give Your Dog A Bone"), they also have an immense selection of food, toys, treats and anything else you could possibly need for your canine family members too. Forget the big warehouse pet stores if you want top-quality products, great prices and genuinely friendly people. They also have a room near the back that is dedicated to housing cats in need of a home from several local rescue organizations. Although it can be crowded with 3-4 adult cats (and sometimes kittens!) in the room, I have never seen happier cats and they are obviously well cared for. It's great that this local business goes above and beyond to help animals in need, and this makes spending my hard-earned cash there a no-brainer. A healthy diet leads to a happy, healthy and well behaved pet. We are about get a new german shepherd puppy in a week. So, I was searching for high quality food. All bigger retail chains carry varieties off food which essentially may not be good for the pet. I did lot of research online about the kind of food. Raw food trumps every thing. So, I started searching for petshops who sell raw. We stepped in to paddywack. The kind of food selection they have is just amazing. May be a little pricey but again, its healthy.
