The manager at the moment, I can't remember his name but he was a young , short, light skinned male with really short hair . He offered to help me find small sized shirts by checking in the system for what they had available in the store. I was pleased to experience this person go above and beyond for a customer. Today however was totally opposite! It's is 10/26/2023 possibly 5:30 or so. I have been walking around the mall purchasing clothes for my kids. I'm a female that measures 4'11 and I'm walking around with a huge bag from old navy filled with jeans and a bag from Tilly's which I placed inside my Old Navy bag so it makes it much easier for me to look for what I'm shopping for. This bag is extremely heavy for me and it was obvious that I was struggling with it, but it wasn't like I had another choice. I was by myself so I had to deal with it. I walk into Zumiez just like I have done many times before and I'm greeted by a young female with dark hair. I start looking at she shirts and checking the size I need. I female comes up to me and asks me if there is anything in particular that I am looking for. I inform her that I'm just shopping around. She steps away and I continue to look around to see if I find something I like. I'm dragging my bags through out the store trying to keep them from falling as I'm shopping . As usual I do not find the size I need which is fine. I'm aware they usually don't have size small in shirts, but I look anyway because here and there I'll get lucky and find something. At this point I've already circled the store and I consider to look at the last table next to where I had started and I do find ONE shirt . I keep looking but my bag tips over and falls. I hold the shirt I'm thinking of purchasing under my left arm and with my right hand I reach and pull my bag into place and I continue to look for shirts as I'm dragging this huge heavy bag . A tall, very skinny , olive skin tones male with really skinny brows comes from behind me and tells me can you take that shirt out of your bag. I was confused and said what? Again he says Can you take that shirt you just put in your bag out. I reached to my left arm and told him you mean this one??! The look dumb look in his face was pretty funny. I pulled out my Tilly's bag and I told him here check . Then he told me I was just asking . I said okay then check as I held my bag to him opened and all. He continued to tell me he was just asking . I pointed at the bigger one too and I said here check that one too . He only glanced but didn't want to check. Then he walks away. I continue to finish my shopping although i probably should had grabbed my crap and left . I purchased my item. As I walked out the store ofcourse I let this employee know that he looks like a dumbass. Behind the register he tells me you do not have to come back. I informed him that of course I will. It's a public place. He stated he was the manager . I reminded him there are plenty of other managers and that doesn't make him an owner. Next time be 100% before you start harassing customers

As far as the store goes it's the cleanest most tidy stores I have ever seen besides Tustin, Anaheim and chino hills locations I now always look forward to saying hi to Brad and Erika.

When I asked for advice on the different boots, I was told that they were all pretty much the same and that I should just try them on. That was not helpful at all, especially for someone buying boots for the first time. There was no discount offered for purchasing the display pair. To make things worse, I ended up having to help the cashier figure out how to order the boots because she did not seem to know how to process the order. We arrived and immediately found out they didn't even have our names written down for the appointment. The female manager (who's name I don't remember unfortunately) told us it was fine and that they could still help us. They couldn't. We spent **two hours** in the store and somehow **not a single person -- including me, the groom -- was fitted.** To make matters worse, the female manager had originally shown us suits and told us they were included in the rental special. About an hour later, we were told they weren't. When I asked why we were told otherwise, the manager said she "didn't know" they weren't included. If you're the manager handling rentals, you should probably know what's included in your own promotion. They also created accounts for the groomsmen, then somehow deleted some people and left others on, adding even more confusion. After wasting two hours, we left with no one fitted, suits we didn't want, and absolutely no resolution. When we understandably expressed our frustration, Matt who said he was a manager and the supposed female manager responded with sarcasm and annoyance instead of taking responsibility. Thankfully, I went to the Men's Wearhouse in Oceanside afterward, and they were phenomenal. Completely different experience -- organized, knowledgeable, and actually helpful. Rented a suit from this location. I had the initial fitting done and found the suit I (thought) I…read morewould get for a wedding. When it was time for final fitting, I was given the wrong size pants and wrong leg width. The replacement I was given was not the right color/style. I was then told to come back to pick up the right one. I finally was able to come pick it up while scrambling for family and wedding details. I could not do another final fitting and also thought they would have gotten it right by then. On wedding day, I realized I was given the wrong pants since they were very tight on the legs. I had no choice but to wear it since I was out of time. I told the staff as I returned the suit, but she just had a grin on her face as she "apologized". I get some people smile when they get put in awkward situations, but don't act like I did not pay for the rental or did not make an effort in the beginning stages or the rental to have the issue fixed. I did not want a refund, I just wanted staff to actually think about what they could do to improve next time. Since I was given that reaction, there will be no next time. The wedding was not a great experience being uncomfortable and not feeling like I looked good.
