PacSun has always been one of my families favorite stores to shop. It's too bad the caliber of customer service has dropped below par. Only one of the four dressing rooms were available. One was "out of order" due to light fixtures, one was clearly usable but "closed" for no apparent reason and one was reserved for handicap (which is understandable). When I asked the retail agents to reconsider opening the one that seemed useable I was met with a firm "no". Still for no good reason other than "it's closed". At one point there were about 6-8 potential paying customers waiting to try on clothes. Furthermore, there were about 4-5 agents behind the counter "working" one sitting on top of the counter. PacSun you can do better than this! read more

The staff were so completely rude, especially a young curly haired boy. It began when he rolled his eyes and said "Do you even want this anymore?" because my friend and I were thinking about buying or not. When I asked his name (to tell his manager), he said "I don't have you tell you my name. I am not obligated to just because you're in the middle of a b*tch fit." Do you think when I go shopping I want to be called a b*tch? No one offered us help when we walked in, and to be verbally assaulted is just ridiculous. I called the manager about the incident, yet he still works there with no consequences. I'll never be shopping here again. Pac Sun is terrible and makes a negative shopping environment. 1 star bc I have to rate to post. Store closes at 7pm, I walked in with my 12 year old daughter to find jeans 20 minutes before they closed. We grabbed 3 items, walked backed to the dressing rooms and they were closed at 6pm. I asked why and the manager said, "payroll, time and money". They close at 7pm and I'm not going to buy anything without trying it on because the last time they couldn't figure out how to return it in their computer. Don't EVER order ANYTHING from PacSun online!!! They are AWFUL!!! I ordered a bathing suit top online and paid $37.47. I went to 2 stores to return it and they said we don't return swim suits. Obviously something new that I wasn't aware of. Ok fine. They said to go through Happy Returns. I started the return process and saw that they deducted $12 from my order. I could have understood if I had to pay $4.95 for shipping but that should have been it. You can't EVER get a hold of customer service. The manager in these stores were useless. They couldn't even give me the number for corporate nor could they call them. They told me to call Happy Returns so I did and Happy Returns said PacSun charged me a processing fee. Said I had to call PacSun to find out why. Spoke to the unhelpful manager again at PS and she said I need to talk to HR. I was going back and forth. Called a number in Anaheim and kept getting voicemails. This was never resolved so I just returned the cheap swim top and forfeited the $12. TERRIBLE customer service all the way around. If you decide to order online, either plan to keep your item or forfeit $$ for the return. If I could give 0 stars I would!!! read more

This makes me really sad because I used to like this pacsun but now this particular location is abhorrent. Pacsun does a lot of insane deals like "buy one get two free" which is why their store is literally always a bloody mess like one of the messiest stores I've ever seen especially since the location is pretty small. Well I used to be fine with this particular location (even though my friends have always told me the employees are notoriously rude) and they used to be super chill. They'd let you basically walk into the fitting rooms with however many people and try on however much clothing you wanted. Today I walked in and I started looking around and literally picked up a shirt, decided I didn't like it, and tossed it back. One of the employees ran up to me and said "oh did you not like it" in the most aggressive tone. I was literally shocked, I wasn't even thinking twice about how I put the item back when it's like girl look around the store. Then I walk into one of the fitting rooms with my friend which is what we NORMALLY DO the dozens of other times we've come to this location. I was already in a bad mood and we got a very loud knock on the door saying "we need to check your items" Apparently now they have a policy where you can only have 5 items in a room (which I'm sorry, is outrageous especially considering the deals they have) and this guy came up to me and said "and you can't have more than one person in here" And so I said "oh sorry you guys used to not care" And he goes "OKAY well I'm the new manager here so" and I walked into the fitting room and I looked at all my stuff and just took everything out and brought it back to them. I really didn't want to try on the clothes after being treated like that, I didn't even want to be in the store. Needless to say, I don't really enjoy their crap quality clothes and I won't be going back to this location ever again :))) read more

The staff was very rude today, 11/17/2020, my daughter tried to return some clothes and staff was incorporative. When I went in to see what was going on, they would not stop bad mouthing my daughter. I told them I was there just to do the return and they keep saying they were going to call security and how my daughter was rude. I asked again to stop and just do the return. They talked between themselves until I left. They have to be the most unprofessional clerks I have ever meet. read more

I visited PacSun store in Santa Barbara. As my 12 daughter and I were looking at the items, a store associate approached us and in a hostile tone of voice asked us if we left boba drinks on her countertop. I calmly explained that we just came in and would not bring a drink into the store. Manager then proceeded to tell us that we can't try more than 5 items per visit. I clarified with her she meant 5 items per person, she repeatedly told me that it's per visit assuming that my daughter and I were just one party and I wasn't going to try any clothes. I explained that I did plan to try a few things but definitely not going to over the limit. As I stood there observing new customers coming in, this associate didn't approach anyone else. She also didn't address people that were incorrectly wearing their masks including her own associate. My daughter and I felt singled out for unknown reasons. I approached the associate and asked her to speak with her manager, she proceeded to tell me that she was a manager and refused to provide her name. In addition, she told me that my daughter and I were weird justifying poor treatment. I am outraged by this service and would like this store associate to be more professional and also look out for public safety. Hope this issue can be resolved in the near future, so this will not happen to anyone else. read more

The two girl workers had no idea what they were doing and scammed my friend on his buy 1 get 2 free and only allowed him to get 2 items. Once he told me, we marched back to the store and demanded our other free item. The two girls were also rude giving dirty looks so I returned those looks back :) Both also didn't know how their own system worked. I came to shop with a friend in the evening on Thursday. The workers were very inattentive, uninterested, and lacked overall customer service. My friend asked for a dressing room and one of the workers at the counter took her damn time to come over and unlock the room. Mind you we were the only customers in the store!! I was also deciding on a pair of shirts and apologized to one of the workers for unfolding two shirts from a pile and she passive aggressively snatched the clothes and folded them back and gave a stink eye without saying a word. It was pretty uncomfortable and rude. Bad vibes all around. I didn't even ruin the pile. I shouldn't even apologize for unfolding the shirts but I was being nice because everyone has their rough days. The same person at the counter was also in the process of ringing my friend up and instead of taking off the sensor on the clothes she was texting and my friend was waiting for her for a solid 2 minutes to put her phone down!!! WTF??! Horrible attitudes and quite lazy work ethic if you ask me. Listen if you can't do your job properly then don't even do it. read more

Entered the store with my grand daughter here in Paseo Nuevo at 1025 on Monday 7/22. Have been in here 40 minutes and the only gal in the store has yet to make any contact or even acknowledge our presence. Music is way too loud snd there are tags and paper all over the floor. NEVER SHOP HERE! It is not worth being bullied by the employees. Seeing all the other reviews I should not be surprised. I think I had the same curly haired person - "AJ" - as another reviewer. AJ did a similar number when I tried to return a pair of shorts from an online purchase. Despite having the shorts, the receipt, the tags, and the packaging, this was not good enough for AJ who also needed me to look up more information in my phone from the original e-mail receipt from PacSun, and while that was happening he/they told me that the tag was not affixed to the shorts to his/their liking so I was out of luck. When I asked to talk to a manager AJ accused me of disrespecting him/them or some nonsense like that, and then would not disclose any information about how I might reach his/their manager. I tried a bit longer to reason with AJ, but then he/they yelled "You are making a scene and everyone in the store is staring at you!" Then he/they bundled all my things in a ball and pushed them into my arms. It would have been hilarious if it wasn't me. read more

Great customer service. I was helped by 3 different people and they all showed courtesy. CUSTOMER SERVIC 5/5 Needed to exchange some jeans, and I was able to to do so without a problem. Even if purchased from online! Make sure you have your receipt and that the items have tags though! PRICE 5/5 Anything you'd expect from a retailer. I recommend checking out their clearance section in the back, lots of goodies. EFFICIENCY 5/5 I was in and out for an exchange in less than 15 minutes. While I was in the fitting room, one of the salespersons was preparing other sizes just in case. And during downtime, they were all straightening up the store as stuff was slightly messy. OVERALL 5/5 Great attitude from all employees, and very customer focused group of people. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. I have never left a Yelp review, or any review for that matter, but the way I was treated in this Pacsun yesterday calls for it. The boy working with dark curly hair was so passive aggressive with me when I left an item in the fitting room and when I went back in 20 minutes later to return a swimsuit bottom I didn't like as we aren't allowed to try them on anymore (??) he told me it was final sale and they don't accept returns on swimsuit bottoms when it clearly states on the receipt that they do. When I pointed this out to him, he snatched my receipt folded it up and said "I can tell you that it does it say we reserve the right to refuse a return to anyone we want." Honestly, the most hostile retail environment I've ever been in. When I asked if I could speak to a manager he said he was the manager, which is completely shocking due to his work ethic. After reading the reviews I'm happy to know I'm not alone but very upset to see that this kind of behavior is so easily tolerated. Just go to another Pacsun and save yourself the drama lol. read more

The employees are so rude and very unprofessional. Not acknowledging any of the customers (which there were only maybe four people so should've been done) but they were too busy talking and laughing on their phones taking pictures. One of the girls Alexandra kept going into the fitting rooms and coming out showing her friend the pictures she was taking while working!! Stopped in PacSun yesterday with a friend. They had just opened up. The store was a good size with lots of clothing from summer wear to sweatshirts. The guy running the regrester was really nice and offered to help if we have any questions. We found a spot in the back where everything was discounted plus 30% off! My buddy grabbed 2 shirts for $10 each, unfortunately every size left was every size except mine! Medium....Oh well overall great experience and I would come back again. read more

Pretty quiet store on a Sunday afternoon. Very well-stocked but only saw two employees on the floor. I had a return and it went smoothly. I've been to a fair amount of Pacsuns and this is by far the best. The layout of the store was easy to navigate, and they had an excellent selection. I was helped by Tyler, who was very welcoming, and assisted me with picking an outfit. Even though the store was clearly busy, he gave me the attention I needed, and that was really impressive. i was hoping to endure a welcoming, kind experience when i walked into the store. the store was extremely stuffy and hot inside, the thermostat read 83 degrees. to top it all off, the employees seemed as through they would rather sit around and chat than to assist. while one of the members of our party slid her mask down to breathe in the stuffy environment, she was told to "PUT YOUR MASK ON" very rudely. we will NEVER be returning to the store. read more

She was on hold which I thought was for something about the store but turned out to be for buying a pair of sunglasses for a friend of hers or something.
