Packard's never disappoints. I have eaten at Packard's several times, the service and the food are consistently excellent. This restaurant is a hidden treasure tucked away in Innisbrook Golf Resort. You don't need a membership to the club to enjoy a delicious meal there. Up side: There are the usual entrees that a steak house would normally serve. But the one thing that really helps set them apart is their Game/Exotic Selection. On one visit I was treated to Elk, on another Deer. Both were cooked to perfection and it was a treat to try something new. They also cater to allergies. I have a severe egg allergy and need to be extremely cautious when dining out. Their knowledgeable staff has been able to help me navigate the menu and have done an excellent job of ensure my safety. Desserts for me are very limited. When you take eggs out of the cooking arsenal of even the best chef it is hard to come up with a tasty dessert. In order to not disappoint me I was given a cup of coffee with a small lazy susan full of chocolate shaving and other treats to make it special. Kudos to them, even Bern's left me with nothing to finish off my meal. Down side: The decor and feel of the restaurant is dated. It almost feels like they designed the look in the 50's and just haven't updated it. This is not to say that the place feels in anyway unclean or unkept. It just feels like you've time warped back to the set of Dirty Dancing. Each time I have been there, usually a Friday or Saturday night, the restaurant is nearly empty. But I think once the secret gets out about how good this restaurant is that it will change. read more

Wish I could add more stars. Our group of 5 had several different menu choices and each person was extremely satisfied with their selection. My Filet steak was perfectly cooked. I came here with no expectations. Packard ' s is set back behind an iron fence at Innis brook golf club, in Palm Harbor. Yes, it is open to the public, but not everyone knows that it is there. Upon entering I couldn't help notice how outdated the decor was & my expectations sagged, combine that with only a few table....I knew we were in trouble. The restaurant was spotless & service was terrific. We were seated, had coctails & were perusing a menu in 5 minutes. What initially caught my eye was the game & exotic section of the menu, this is something you don't see often locally, so it was a great addition to the menu. We started with bacon wrapped shrimp, that was cooked spot on. For the entrees: venison & a filet, absolutely cooked to perfection. The side salad was fresh & appealing, as were the potatoes. We tried to save room for dessert, maybe next time. This is definitely a hidden gem. A bit pricy, but not when you consider what all you are getting for the price you pay. Privacy at a high end restaurant is priceless. What's a girl to do? Now that Packard ' s is on my radar, I will definately be returning. read more

The meal was very nice. Sirloin and grouper was amazing. You just need to get through the gate, no problem there just tell them where you're going. Don't let the gate stop you from visiting this little gem. They mentioned a summer menu coming which is coming out soon. We'll be back. read more

I was blessed to attended a wine dinner last night at Packards. It was farm to table with wine from Gallo's new Northern Cali wine. The First course, Florida Tomme cheese with local honey and cayenne pepper was perfect. The wine....eh. 2nd course, FL micro greens, just fabulous. Clean, refreshing. The wine....eh. 3rd course, Alligator Bottarga , nice but a bit too much breading for me. The wine....eh. The Akaushi steak was lovely, cooked perfectly but the kicker was what the steak was laying on. A sweet corn potato hash with Poblano Port reduction. This was a true winner, a stunner. The wine....eh. I'll have to come back to the steakhouse to experience a regular meal and choose my own wine. Looking forward to it. read more

I live here at innisbrook resort. Have eaten there several times. We always get the ribeye, great quality cuts have always been the norm.

I had a really good Delmonico steak here. As well I ate at the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet was horrible and both the night I had the steak and the morning I had breakfast the service was horrible. I actually had to get up during dinner to ask for someone to get me a drink as well noone would refill my drink. Nearly the same experience at breakfast the waitress came to our table asked two people at the table if the wanted orange juice and ignored me. Had to get up and ask them to bring me OJ. Keep in mind both times I waited patiently for a long time before I got up to ask. read more

I am basing my review on a trip to this restaurant for lunch during the Valspar Open. As you can imagine, the place was packed with a crowd excited to watch the PGA tour event, including one Mr. Tiger Woods. Outside on the patio, they had set up a couple drink stations with a handful of snacks to aid the viewers who were focused more on a liquid lunch (which I think helped to somewhat control the crowds at the indoor bar). While we did decide to eat a late lunch at 3 pm, I was pleasantly surprised that we got seated with a minimal wait. The menu wasn't extensive but prices were reasonable for a resort and our food came out quickly. There was nothing special with the mahi sandwich or chicken wrap but it was hot and served quickly, which I was thankful for on a busy afternoon with most of your other options around the course being packed. I can't comment on the dinner menu and assume/hope it is better, but overall I was impressed by the service and organization during a very busy PGA tour event. read more

Packards did not meet my expectations at all. I left the restaurant still hungry, after spending $40+ on steak.. The steak had no taste, I ordered medium well and it was pink and bloody(my wife ordered a medium steak and it was cooked more than mine). This shouldn't have been a problem.. So I asked the server to take it back which she did with quite the bad attitude. It came back completely blackened on the outside, then I cut it open again and it was just as pink and now burnt. I have frequented some of Florida's best known steak houses such as Morton's steak house, Christinies, Ruths Chris steak house etc. These are top notch steak restaurants! Packards prices are the same so I would expect things to be outstanding. It was the worst waste of time and money, I cannot stress how unpleasant this fine dining experience was. Overall I have had better meals and servers at Denny's! Dine here if you like disappointment and embarrassment in front of your friends or family. Hope this review helped!
