Love this spot. Cold beer, great vibes. Food late. Barry is a great bartender. Pool tables upstairs. Eclectic decor. If ur in town, this place is a must-visit.

Great local bar with great service and a great bar menu. Old style pub with wood interior and signs from local businesses that have closed as decor. Warm and friendly. Prices are moderate. Great stop off after a local concert.

I have been here before, both to play pool and to eat. This is the first time I have been here in a while, and certainly the first time with kids. While we were a bit early for dinner, the service was slow, and it seemed like a promising meal was going to become a questionable one. They were out of "regular" fries, and the food we received was rather sub far from what I remembered. The generic salsa tasted like it was from a bottle, and I attached a copy of the veggie burger that I had. Perhaps some frozen thing. So, you walk in and expect this exciting experience with all of this cool memorabilia, and then it is like a disappointing theme park experience, where the pizzazz is a facade and Captain Yuck is the evil chef ruining your hopes and expectations. They even have one of the original Big Boy statues from Abdows back in my town. That place knew had to do it up right. Fresh soup, homemade pies, and a Breakfast bar with these awesome cinnamon sticks. By the way, that is not this place. Not at all.

The atmosphere and ambience is great. Feels like a place where you can go to get good drinks and watch a game. But the food not so much. The wings tasted crispy on the outside but undercooked on the inside. And it was really oily on the inside. The BLT was not much better either. Bread was too oily too.

Nice atmosphere, even during COVID. Reasonable menu. Nice staff. The 5 stars specifically is for the Hard Cider Sangria... It. Is. Delicious!

Where does a moose head overlook the bar? Packards.

Nice Irish bar serving up some very good pub grub. My cheeseburger arrived in a matter of minutes from the kitchen delivered by the cook; It was cooked perfectly just as I had ordered and could not have been cooked any better. The burger cheese combo was juicy and flavorful on its own but with the addition of a slice of ripened tomato and onion this burger was well on its way to the cheeseburger Hall of Fame. The coleslaw was not an after thought but was nicely done too with a hearty zesty spicy tang. Good job Brennan's that was a dang good burger!

Yes, it was a buttock-cringing moment as I walked into the place....... ..... and then...... I noticed the very easy-on-the-eyes brunette bartender.... she was a dead-ringer for Lara Flynn Boyle, but much hotter. The crowd was a pleasant, Cheers-esque group of regulars that laughed and drank the day away. It could have been a pub in any-city USA. The great part? Among the beers on tap were the only 2 types I drink: guiness and weiss beers.... LOTS of them. AND..... the bartender was actually nice. She was totally cool. None of the yes-I-know-I-am-hot attitude you find in big-city bitches. The food was awesome too. I had a buffalo-wing salad, while my gimpy pal-recovering-from-gout had a reuben sandwhich. We were surprised to discover that the place does not serve any processed foods, and everything, despite the pub-grub stigma, was pretty damn good quality food. 2 beers, 2 large entrees set us back about $17-ish, which I thought was a miscalculation because I pretty much pay double that in the city..... and did I mention the cute bartender with no attitude? Maybe not a diamond, but perhaps a sapphire or ruby in the rough. And yes, I'll be back.

Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right downtown Manchester on Main Street is this gem where Lucky Taco once stood. It echoes the standard British pubs and taverns from across the pond with deep yellow lighting, woods, exposed brick walls and open floorplan kind of vibe. It was lively, energetic and welcoming! Service: Lara took excellent care of us and she was very helpful! I had no issues at all. Food/Drinks: On the table when we arrived was an Irn Bru which is a SUPER popular drink sold in Scotland, often beating Coca-Cola in sales. It tasted like orange licorice, but it was actually pretty decent. Our first appetizer was an order of Crisps which were like thick cut potato chips with some garlic parmesan seasonings which I actually enjoyed! There was plenty of flavor from each component involved. Next up was the 007 which was their spin on the martini James Bond orders! In it is Wheatley Vodka, Bombay Gin, and English Tea Infused Lillet Blanc. It tasted like a dirty martini and was pretty strong! Smooth as well. I enjoyed it. Next up was a dish called Toad In The Hole which is Yorkshire pudding stuffed with smoked sausage then topped with caramelized onions and gravy. I have never seen anything like this before, but it was so strange, but pretty decent! The Yorkshire pudding was a bit eggy and dense. The gravy was a must though, since the other components of the dish lacked the salt that I was seeking. Next up was the Cloth Of Gold Old which is an Old Fashion with a twist which contained Old Forester, fresh lemon and honey. I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure why the mention of Old Fashion was on the menu unless this is supposed to differ from an "Old Fashioned". No matter, moving on. Next up were the Potato Pom Pom which are fired potato balls served with a house-made cheddar cheese sauce. It sounds like a simple dish. The cheese was thick, majorly cheddar-y. I really, really liked these! They tasted like a fancy tater tot. The potato inside was so soft and tender and the exterior was so crispy. My last drink of the night was the Bramble On Rose which is their take on a 1980's classic created in Soho, London. In it is Bombay Gin, fresh lemon, rose water and blackberry syrup. This was my favorite drink of the night. It was fresh, had some herbal flavors and the rose flavor made itself known. I really, really liked this drink and would certainly order it again. Lastly, the quintessential Fish & Chips! It's Atlantic cod in a brown ale batter, served with musky peas, chips, tartar sauce and a curry sauce. The curry sauce was surprisingly fantastic. I was blown away and absolutely needed more of it. The mushy peas resembled guacamole, but I had no idea how I was supposed to eat them. Lol. Were they a sauce? I don't know, but they tasted exactly how you'd think they'd taste. The fish was also fantastic. It was light, yet greasy and crispy. Value: The most expensive thing on the menu is $22.00. This place is not expensive at all so you certainly won't break the bank. Portions are decent size too. In conclusion, I absolutely enjoyed myself here and highly recommend you (reading this) to check it out! British food is... unpredictable if I must throw a word on it. Lol. Like, I almost couldn't predict what some of this stuff would taste like because I had never had anything like it before! Now, I'm a believer!

It's known for its friendly service, generous portions, and events like live music and karaoke, aiming to provide a unique UK pub experience.  They bring a huge pitcher and a few really small (8 oz) glasses. These complimentary chips are the best! Homemade and seasoned! For my first drink, I'm having the Cloth of Gold. This is an Old Fashioned recipe allegedly dating back to the 1600's. It is made with Old Forester, fresh lemon and honey (no bitters). This is nicely garnished and tastes good. I do think these glasses are only 10ox but I could be wrong. For my first item, I'm having the Chicken soup with rice and vegetables. This is steaming hot. The spoon is definitely oversized. It is very thick. Definitely a lot of chicken! This is real good! For my entree, I'm having the Atlantic Cod topped with buttery breadcrumbs and lemon bourre blanc sauce.Atlantic cod is a major commercial fish species found in the cold waters of the North Atlantic, ranging from North Carolina to the Barents Sea, and is renowned for its mild, flaky white meat. Lemon beurre blanc is a classic, rich French emulsified butter sauce brightened with lemon juice, white wine, and shallots, ideal for fish, seafood, or vegetables. It is made by reducing wine, lemon juice, and shallots, then whisking in cold, cubed butter off-heat to create a creamy, velvety texture. I'm having sides of cole slaw and a Caesar salad. This looks nice! That's a huge mound of cole slaw! That Caesar salad is huge (for a side dish)! This cod is steaming hot and tastes great! I love that sauce! For my last drink, I'm having an Obi Wan Negroni (which, just like the Jedi Master), is "out of this world." It is made with cold brewed infused Campari, Bombay gin and Carpano Antica Vermouth. You gotta love the light saber! This tastes like a coffee-infused Negroni. It's real good! For dessert, we are having the Blueberry Lemon Crumble Cake. Nice presentation! This is good! What a great meal here!
