TL;DR 6 weeks, multiple visits, and then abandoned on a bid for our project…read more We requested a quote from Eagle Pride Constructions on our kitchen remodel project. The team was initially quick to respond and came out to review the scope of our project and asked good questions to understand our goals and scope of the work. They appeared to have good ideas and options to get creative with solutions for what we wanted to achieve with the project. After the first meeting we didn't hear back on a quote, and after following up they said they needed more details to prepare a proper quote so we scheduled more time. They missed the second appointment so we rescheduled and got them back through for a second look. After walking them through the project scope again and answering some new follow up questions we were optimistic we'd be able to move to the next phase. We weren't hearing back from them so after a couple weeks, we followed up with their office and they let us know that they're still working on a quote and would have it by end of day. One week later still no quote. Finally I got a call from Eagle pride telling me that they've decided they don't wanna work on our project citing that they aren't able to get one of their subcontractors available to quote a key part of the project. Throughout the process, we've been flexible on timelines, patient throughout the missed appointments and poor communication. We understand that contractors are busy and they can't always bid on a project, but it would have been nice to know that before waiting 6 weeks. We can't speak to the quality of the work that Eagle pride does, but l see these missed appointments, the slow communication, and abandoning the project entirely after dragging us along as red flags. I hope others have an easier time working with them, but felt compelled to share my experience.

We completely remodeled our home in Camarillo, still underway, looks beautiful, everything we wanted, and more. DO NOT HIRE Gabriel…read moreGomez does not understand how to communicate. I had several conversations with him (as did my partner) about improving his skills and he finally offered weekly video conferences and/or phone calls to update us on the progress of the kitchen remodel; neither the video conferences or the calls ocurred. Gabriel ignored the project for months and pulled the PM off my site to send him to work on an ADU. We lived from mid September until late November without a call or any work completed. Finally, in late November (6 weeks after I texted that I was having surgery on December 3 and needed ALL work completed beforehand) Gabriel sent his PM and a new hire. The new hire turned out to be on parole and he burgled our home (all is on video). Gabriel swore he vetted all his employees, but clearly not. The matter is now in the hands of the Ventura Police Department and Ventura County District Attorney. As of this writing, Gabriel Gomez is unwilling to compensate us for the stolen items and billed us for the hours the thief worked as he stole. Do not waste your time.

We had a terrible experience with this company. The project manager never came on site to generate…read morean appropriate estimate. They neglected to level out my sub flooring before installing vinyl plank flooring so there was gapping and lifting in the floor. I had to call them back and ask that they return to fix the issue. If u removed leveler why not replace it before installing new floors? We are now having issues in that same area that wasnt leveled and the company is failing to take accountability. Gabriel recommended that I "install it myself".

We have just begun a remodel with Deadwood. We are remodeling our kitchen, replacing all our…read morewindows, and removing a load baring wall between our kitchen and living room. Deadwood has been wonderful so far. It was incredibly difficult to find a contractor who would even call us back. We started looking for someone six months ago. We had 10 different contractors come out to our house to provide us with a bid. Only two of the 10 actually gave us a bid. The rest just disappeared and never returned our calls. Deadwood was night and day from the other contractors we had spoken to. I wish we had found them first. From our initial contact they were very responsive. Dustin and Tim came out right away and provided us with an estimate the same week. They also had an idea about changing the kitchen layout that I think is going to be much better than what we had planned. Anytime we've had questions they have responded quickly. I will update my review when we complete our remodel.

From start to finish, Ezra was super communicative, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to work with. The quality of their work is insane . we can't even believe how good it looks. They were so efficient and respectful of our space, it was like having friends over helping us out. We've already recommended them to everyone we know. If you're thinking of remodeling, just call E&E you won't regret it!

Unfortunately, we never received anything , not even a follow-up message or explanation. We specifically reached out to him because of his excellent reviews, so this experience was surprising and disappointing. Even if he decided not to take on our project, a simple update or courtesy message would have shown professionalism. Personally for me not following through on a clear commitment and not communicating at all reflects poor work ethic and reliability. Based on this experience, I would not recommend their services.

He provided a detailed quote and took the time to explain every part of the process clearly, which I really appreciated. Once the initial details were set, Ray, the project manager, stepped in to follow up and ensure we were completely taken care of. Even though I ultimately had to postpone the actual work, the level of service and care I received was truly unforgettable. It is clear that Ray and Jay prioritize customer relationships over just making a sale. If you want a team that is professional, transparent, and genuinely supportive, I highly recommend GreenStart!

The roofers themselves were amazing and worked so hard to get it finished right. The whole thing was a huge success and I'm just so happy to have found a team I can actually trust! I strongly recommend homeowners proceed with caution when dealing with Total Restoration Services…read more After a major leak in our townhouse, they were brought in to handle repairs. They left our downstairs bathroom in terrible shape, and despite Brittany assuring us it would be handled, we were later told the repairs were entirely our responsibility. The bigger issue came later: we found wet, broken drywall inside our upstairs HVAC air-handler closet, exactly on the wall where the leak occurred. This damage was completely missed by their team. The drywall was in perfect condition before the leak, and there is no other source of water in that location. When we informed them, Sean repeatedly promised that the drywall repair would be approved because of his relationship with the property manager. We patiently waited months. Today, he told us the request was denied -- and then denied ever promising he could get it approved. This entire experience has involved misleading assurances, inconsistent information, delays, and a complete lack of accountability. Instead of acknowledging obvious oversight, they refused responsibility at every step. I wish we hadn't trusted this company. Homeowners deserve honesty and professionalism, and we did not receive either.
