I was seeking quotes to fix or replace a potion of our rain gutter that got bent and detached. Kyle was one of the first to respond and he was nice enough to come out to take a look at the situation, despite the short notice. Long story short, he was able to re-attach the portion of the gutter and even cleaned out our downspout, which was full of pinecones and other gunk, preventing water from draining properly. He not only did that but he also gave me all kinds of advice on the proper screws to use and products for keeping stuff out of the gutter. At the end, I asked him to write me up an invoice and he said that he wasn't going to charge me. Who does that these days?! A friend referred Pacific Star Gutter Services to me and highly recommended them. I spoke with Kyle about coming to my property to evaluate my gutters and he came out the next day. He let me know he could clean my gutters to just maintain them, or he could replace them since they were basically done anyways. I appreciated the honesty, as opposed to him saying the only option would be to replace my gutters. The quote was more than fair so we decided to move forward with replacing them. Pacific Star replaced our entire gutter system. The prices were competitive, but the products and workmanship exceeded all expectations. High quality materials, but the installation team worked extremely hard and upon completion, left the project cleaner than when they started. Also, a couple items needed follow up and they immediately responded, corrected the problem perfectly. We couldn't recommend any firm more highly than PacStar for those services. read more

Our Development HOA had an priced agreement with Pacific Star to clean our gutters and downspouts on Dec. 9, 2024. They cancelled our service on the 9th, after confirming the appointment, and rescheduled for a later date. Then they show up and supposedly completed 2 of the 5 buildings on our property, although we are not convinced that happened. We are told they are coming back to complete...meanwhile with any hard rain, the gutters are overflowing. We finally get an answer on when they will return...Dec. 20. Their trucks show up on the 20th then leave about 15 minutes later. We receive an email a few hours later stating that the job has all of a sudden become too much for them and to find someone else. So, even though they had cleaned our gutters the previous couple years on a regular yearly schedule, they don't complete the job when booked and then almost two weeks later after multiple confirmations that they will be back, they show up for a few minutes and tell us to find another company right before the holidays. Answered all our questions and gave us some recommendations on what other work (fascia board replacement) that we needed to get done. He scheduled us for 8 am and was on time on the day he promised. The crew did excellent work - removed old rusted out gutters and replaced with our beautiful new ones. Downspout work was exceptional and they even took the time to set our water diverters in place. One downspout was particularly difficult and had never been right - he solved the problem and the next day it rained & worked perfect. Looked great too! I reached out to 3 vendors to get pricing. Pacific Star was the first to respond. Kyle came out the next day. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Out of the 3 bids (Pacific Star was not the cheapest I might add) I felt most comfortable with Kyle and that he would complete the job on time and within budget. We had text conversations between the contract execution and the install. He was very attentive and responsive. Craig came out on Monday with another installer. DETAILS: Initial Contact The owner, Kyle Martel, did the site visit and walk-around. He was prompt, personable and very knowledgeable. Pacific Star Gutter Service is a family business started by his father so he has a wealth of experience and perspective. Kyle had several helpful suggestions regarding our installation, one of which actually decreased the overall cost (i.e. - a 5" rather than 6" gutters). Don't let their Lynnwood address deter you: these guys serve Seattle, the East Side, and up north. I live in a 1907 Craftsman style home. The gutters are supported by the ends of the rafters, which are visible and part of the architectural style. Unfortunately, the rafter tails were built when gutters were much shallower than they are today. For nearly 10 years, I have looked on and off for a gutter company which could install seamless 4" k-line gutters, as opposed to deeper gutters which would require removal of the rafter tails. I have a whole notebook full of estimates, ranging from $1,300-$4,500 (for Leaf Guard via Costco, WITHOUT the added expense of the actual Leaf Guard screens. Outrageous.) Pacific Star came in with a big of $1,500 taxes and everything included, and also including 3" round downspouts which are a little more expensive than the rectangular ones you see in modern houses. Pacific Star was really easy to work with. As opposed to most contracting companies, they are technologically savvy, and were able to email bids and negotiate details and scheduling via email as well. On the day of the install, the contractors were friendly and polite. They were done by the time I got home that day. The only downside is that their ladders left smudges all over the house. But I'm having it painted soon anyway, so I don't care. Now, the only problem is that the water flows so efficiently down the gutters that I can hear it splashing and gurgling at night when it rains. The person who came out to get the info for quote took the time to answer our questions, talk with us about our concerns and make recommendations. Pacific Star Gutters Installed my gutters on my new victorian style house back in 1998. Over the years three of the seams began to drip. One of them was like chinese water torture as the drip from a second story gutter was hitting the first story gutter - right behind the family room couch. I called them up asking if perhaps there was some way of repairing the seams as the gutters were still in great shape in every other way (and I have been good at keeping them cleaned out). They promised to check them out some time when they were in the area to see what they could do. I figured I'd never hear from them again. But lo and behold one day they called up, saying they were in the area and would be dropping by. I wasn't home at the time, but they took care of it. Very good at returning inquiries/messages etc. Best quote, and included blowing debris off our roof. Nice 6 inch k lines with 4 inch downspouts. Attached at every rafter, not every other as our previous gutters were. Quick, professional and good price on clean outs. Even with the fall debris and rains we've had, gutters flow freely and fir needles have not caused a problem. Four stars instead of five only due to aesthetics of gutter blocks on house being removed and downspouts are now tilted at the bottom instead of straight down like before. Also, gutter debris was deposited in our front ditch which was difficult to clean up. Would have preferred leaving it in the driveway so I could scoop it up right into our large yard waste bin. These were purely communication issues, and would not prevent me from using them again or recommending Pacifc Star Gutter Service as a solid choice for gutter replacement. read more
