Aaron is a great communicator- he always let me know when he was on his way or his ETA which I appreciated. He is a very hard worker - staying until the job was complete - and then, because he finished after the sun was set and I couldn't really see the job - he came back a couple of days later to do a walk around with me and answered my follow up questions - he also taught me how to empty/check the downspout clean out boxes. I have a metal roof and gutters with gutter guards. They company that used to do an excellent job on my roof (I'll call them "JB") is a janitorial firm that appears to no longer do roofs. I called AA based on reviews and explained that my roof was quite dirty with pollen and was clear with them it was metal. They said they would come and blow the roof off and see what else could be done. They did NOT come right out and say they could not clean up pollen. They quoted me a price lower than the previous company had been charging, so I scheduled the work about three weeks out. The tech came out late in the afternoon, spent a LOT of time looking around and talking to the office and then told me that they could only blow debris off. To do a wash would take two people a full day and cost around $2,000. Sorry, that's NOT going to happen! I said go ahead and blow the roof off, there was plenty of Douglas fir cones and other debris that needed to come off anyway. The work was fine for what it was, though there's still a mess of pollen up there. I would have preferred that they just say "we don't clean metal roofs because you won't be happy with the results."

They actually provided two separate estimates: one for the noisy downspout and another for a basic cleaning. When I asked why the estimate for the downspout was so high, I received a passive-aggressive text from the estimator, Evan K., saying that I was "not the right fit" for the company, complete with a smiley face emoji. I then attempted to schedule only the basic cleaning (the separate estimate), because the project manager had not indicated that I was not allowed to do so, and I continued to receive automated reminders via text and email. Then, Evan K. followed up with a passive-aggressive email, also complete with a smiley face emoji, continuing the interaction unnecessarily. After that, my number appears to have been blocked, and I was no longer able to reach anyone at the company. Regardless of pricing, this level of communication is extremely unprofessional. Based on this experience alone, I would not recommend this company.
