If you know Shawn, he doesn't need much luck because the reality is, he is a gifted person. He will sell high expectations and deliver on those expectations. He is one in a few left in this business, that wants to deliver a high quality product while the average contractor sells you midgrade low end junk from home depot or lowes, or that hole in the wall fabrication shop that gets imports from china. The owner, Kathy Kovell, is so experienced, knowledgeable and fun to work with. Her crew, most of whom have been with her for some time, are just terrific. The sub-contractors she hires are people she has worked with for years and who she trusts to do an excellent job. She holds everyone's feet to the fire, too! They built a casita (ADU) for us and, while they were here, we engaged them to have our roof replaced, a driveway added, a retaining wall and a pathway. The casita is beautiful. It was completed on time and on budget. The work is first class in every way. We absolutely could not be happier! Communication was excellent throughout the project. He finished the project before his estimated time, he took care of EVERYTHING we asked, and really went above and beyond on many things. Not a day went by when we felt like we were unsure of what was happening, and we always knew we could count on them to be there on time. After our project was complete, we hired him again for a wall removal project (a wall was dividing our living room & family room) and a project to move a sliding glass door to another wall, and add a window.
