The loop at the end of the cable on one side of our garage door broke, still functional, but clearly on borrowed time. I'm glad for the big sticker on the back of the door from years ago; it pointed me straight to who to call. We scheduled an appointment, a friendly and efficient technician arrived right on time, fixed the problem, charged a fair price, and was gone, all within an hour. Works perfectly now. Highly recommend! read more

Trustworthy and easy to do business with. Been having problems with my garage door opening only a foot or so then stopping. Had been told by another door company that maybe my opener motor was undersized and may need to increase to a larger HP motor. Turns out that would have been a costly and incorrect decision. Based on their great reviews, I contacted Pacific Overhead Door. It was easy to set an appointment to have a serviceman to come out when it fit my schedule. On the appointed day, Rusty showed up on time and was friendly and knowledgeable. Within about 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem and went to work making the sensor adjustments and resetting a keypad I'd asked him to. His service charge fee was very reasonable. It's been 2 weeks now and the door has operated perfectly. This is a great company, with integrity, and professional expertise. Highly recommend and will use them again when needed. read more

Outstanding service from a quality company. The technician was a great guy, pleasure to deal with.

I needed a repair. Pacific had a tech swing by the same day I called. Fixed some other things i didn't even consider could become a problem. Nice people; great service; fair price. My door is over 30 years old. I know who I'm going to call when it's time to replace it. read more

Rusty the technician showed up on time and immediately went to work installing new springs and cables on my old garage door. He made some adjustments, lubed the door and now it works perfectly. Incredible customer service provided by everyone I dealt with at Pac Overhead Doors. We were looking at finally replacing our 37 yr old original garage doors to something insulated / modern and dealt with Kenny at Pac Overhead Door. He was excellent to deal with and was very patient with the barrage of questions I had regarding door options. I also liked the fact that he didn't BS to get the sale...he was very upfront / transparent about wait times & pros/cons with the doors we were considering so we were all aligned on expectations. He's definitely an asset to the team there! Ross the estimator was also great and super shout out to the actual tech who came out to install the doors (Tim) - he was a rock star! He removed our two garage doors and had our 2 new doors up in less than 3 hours - what?! Insane speed and quality work! Give these fellas a call if you're looking for new doors! Before and after shots attached...we love the new doors. Whisper quiet open and close and our garage is finally insulated. We've noticed it's already much cooler in the garage during the past couple days vs. our old doors. read more

Fantastic and honest service with fair pricing. Always a great experience. Always my first choice for any garage door project.

Rusty was the technician for our garage door opener replacement. He explained everything prior to starting, double checking if the old opener was repairable. Decided on the Linear Model, and totally satisfied with it. Rusty installed it without a hitch. It is the quietest opener I have ever experienced. Thanks for your quick response/service/installation!! And, I felt their price was very acceptable. Thanks read more

In 2017, I needed new garage door springs and after calling around and getting some quotes I was most impressed with Pacific Overhead Door. After crunching numbers they helped me come to the decision that since my garage door was so old, I would be better off replacing my garage door all together. I absolutely LOVE my beautiful new garage door. It is much more energy efficient and gave my house a much needed facelift. It was an easy process to order my new door and schedule the installation and I've been enjoying my sunlight lit garage. This week I called them to see if they could service my garage door and Rusty came over and serviced it and tuned up the moving parts. Rusty was very informative and knowledgeable and give me some tips and tricks on some preventative maintenance for my garage door and garage door opener. And the best part is it only cost me $129! I highly recommend Pacific Overhead Door! read more

Tech came out and quickly installed a new spring on our 75 year old door, charged us a reasonable price, and didn't bat an eye at how cluttered our garage is. Definitely recommend! read more

Ross Brockbank at PacDoor was incredibly accommodating and flexible when we ended up cancelling our new garage door installation. We found out, after the fact, that our existing garage door was actually in good working shape and did not need replacement. I had paid half of the estimate already and Ross reimbursed me without any penalty or fees. When we do eventually need a garage door replaced, PacDoor will be the first people we call. Thank you for being good people and running a business with integrity! The Jensen family appreciates you. read more

Rusty arrived right on time. He was professional and friendly. He confirmed what he would be installing that day and got to work right away. I'm happy with our new system. It's super quiet and such an improvement over our old one. I had a great experience & highly recommend this company! read more

So, I'm torn about this place. I am now the proud owner of a pretty awesome wood garage door that these guys made. And they installed it with a garage door opener that works really well - its so quiet. The people were so friendly when I went in to check them out, and for the most part, were always super nice. The problem I had was that no one told me that I needed a plug in a specific spot. They asked me if I had electricity in the garage. yes. But no one ever said, well, you are going to need a plug here. So when the technician shows up to install the door, he was very quick to tell me that he could install the whole thing, he just couldn't plug it in, but that I could with an extension cord. It wouldn't be up to code, but people do it all the time. really?! Luckily, I was in the middle of a garage remodel and the contractor was coming out later that day so he could put in a plug for me. BUT, both the technician and the man I called at the office told me I hadn't heard correctly and how did I think the garage door opener was going to work. huh, excuse me? I'm not stupid. I just assumed (shouldn't do that, i know) that they would handle any electrical work that needed to be done. Oh, and also, they don't do any framing for the garage door, so if you are doing something new/different, you are going to have to find your own contractor to frame everything out for the new door. But, like I said, I love the door. read more

The very experienced tech came and fixed the door better than new! So happy with the service and the outcome. I wish it was so easy to fix the hatch that due to recall works horribly read more

I was a victim of a broken garage door spring for first time. I did not know this is the most common garage door issue. Not paying attention to the spring, I set upon trying to fix it myself... by tightening the lose screws, moving the screws around... As I operated the garage door few times during the process, the door panels basically came off. I thought I have to replace the entire door, which would have been really expensive. After a long day of trial and error and finally managing to put the garage door panels temporarily back up with a friend's help, I looked up Yelp and found that a lot of garage door companies have 5-star reviews. I contacted a Daves garage doors, one of the highly rated service: both over phone and directly through Yelp messaging. This business is likely closed, but Yelp cleverly (monetization?) routes this to other service providers and my message reached to Pacific Door Company who responded within 10mins of my Yelp message. Alex, who was representing Pacific, even gave me a quote when I sent him pictures and few details of what happened of my garage door. He also mentioned the service person would give an estimate before the work and if there was a discrepancy, I can deny the service with no quote fee (most of the companies were charging $49 or so for a quote). I got three quotes and Pacific Door company quote was the cheapest of all. The technician who worked on my door was professional and fixed the door. Pacific door provides a 3 month workmanship warranty for a peace of mind. I am a happy customer and would recommend this service to my friends. read more

From start to finish it was a pleasure working with PacDoor on my project! I wanted to convert a carport on my 1968 Mid Century Modern Portland house to a garage with 2 Modern Classic metal doors. I knew exactly what I wanted but didn't know if it was possible. Ross came out and we talked about ideas and what would look right and work perfectly, form and function. Questions and concerns came up but Ross always had the answers and solutions to any issues. I felt very comfortable knowing the history and reputation of this company. I did initially get 3 estimates and PacDoor not only had the fairest price point, they had the best products! I was sent cad drawings with the estimate right away. They other guys took weeks or never got back to me. I was able to get the rails black powder coated, the glass in a satin etch tempered and upgrade to the commercial grade springs and hardware and still was on budget! The rails were pitched to go upward to match the A frame shape of the carport! Wow! The install was also done very professionally and in 5 hours. Don't waste your time and money going anywhere else. Quality, service, integrity and honest pricing. If only everyone was like PacDoor, my house projects would all be a breeze! read more

They installed our garage door 12 years ago and the door is working great, and the Genie opener work perfect. We converted our old door from sliding to a standard wood rollup door, and the installation was spot on. I check bolts every couple years because they do loosen up after a few hundred or thousand open/closes , and it works perfect. The remotes work from about 100 ft+. I just had a question after 12 years and they were very helpful. Dennis. read more

I had multiple companies come out to give estimate on a garage door replacement. Pacific Overhead had the most affordable estimate for the same service that others gave and had the best options for what we wanted to do. They did the job quick and effectively and they were extremely courteous. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. Next time I won't bother getting other estimates from other companies. read more

After getting a ridiculously overpriced estimate from another local garage door company (that will remain nameless) we called PacDoor for a second opinion. First: Ross blew us away with his level of professionalism and knowledge. We had to replace both garage doors and motors, and PacDoor's estimate was $10-thousand LESS than the first company we tried! And we didn't just go with them because of the lower price; it was immediately clear that they just plain knew more about the subject. Fast forward to our installation, and the crew was on time, friendly and knowledgable. I was blown away by Tim, who actually waited for me to get home (I was later than I thought), and gave up part of his lunch break to take the time to walk me through everything! The doors look and work great, and we are forever grateful we kicked the first company to the curb! THANK YOU TIM FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND!! And thank you PacDoor for a job well done. read more

I am a happy customer. Started with an easily scheduled appointment for a measurement and some quotes and options. Pricing was great, in fact I even decided to go with an upgraded better insulated door since it cost less then I was expecting. The install time would have been 2 weeks out but the upgraded door I went with required 2 more weeks so 4 weeks total which is still better then the estimated install time of 5wks from a few competitors I got quoted from. When it came to the day of install it went smooth and as scheduled. I believe the installers name was chris, he was a very nice guy. He showed up and explained the job for me and got straight to work. A few hours later her was all done and I couldn't be happier. Billing was smooth and easy as well. Well worth the 5 stars read more

First ever garage door purchase. POD was one of my quotes, and I'm so glad I went with them. Alex was very thorough and prompt during the selection/discussion of foot and lift options. Installation was amazing too. Alex and his father (who I believe is the owner!) actually came to do the install, and they were great. We love the new door, and I highly recommended POD for any garage door needs you may have! Update - needed a bit of adjustment on the new garage door rails. They sent Tim out within 20min of my calling, and he showed me what needed to be adjusted on the rails, and made the doorcegen quieter that it already was. Great service by the company, and Tim was very thorough!! read more

Unbelievable customer service from Alex. Turned out his team couldn't take our job, but he had already talked to another friend in the business and had them all ready to do the job for us. Couldn't believe how much work he had put in to sending business to a different company, all to satisfy a customer he wasn't earning a dime from. Will gladly take our business to Pac Door next time we need garage door servicing! read more

One of the torsion springs on my garage door broke. I called Pacific Overhead Door, they gave me a 2 hour window for Rusty to show up on the same day that I called. I highly recommend Pacific Overhead Door. We had some technical issues with our garage door opener and they worked tirelessly on several occasions to remedy the problem. I totally recommend them. I called this week since my spring broke and I could not open my garage door, which had my car parked in it. I called around trying to get it fixed that day. After several calls to different places that all said they could not come out that day, I called Pacific Overhead Door. They said they would get someone out that afternoon and did! Rusty showed up at 2pm. Very pleasant and professional. He got the job done quickly and efficiently. Thank you Pacific for your quick response. Contacted these guys after realizing my boyfriend and I are not the DIY kind of people. Our garage door was stuck trying to get it open and we could not figure out how to fix it. Their website touted same-day service, so I contacted them and it's true! Chatted with the owner, who is a very nice fellow, and he dispatched Tim to my house within an hour of my phone call. Rusty came through at about 9:20am and finished within 30 mins! He came in, checked it out, and told me it was just one spring. Boom grabbed his equipment. Done! Just like that. The garage does open quieter now but it also feels like it opens up a little slower now but that's okay! He got the garage working great! I recommend Pacific Overhead Doors.
