We were having the floor of our garage resurfaced and decided to have the garage door inspected during the process while it was empty. We had a new garage door installed about 10 years ago by another company and the Husband said it had been making a grinding noise for quite a while so we called and made an appointment for a "Winter Tune Up." Unbeknownst to us, after a thorough visual inspection for signs of wear, corrosion, loosened hardware, or improper operation, the technician claimed our garage door was not installed correctly in the first place. He commenced to apply a garage door lubricant to appropriate moving components, tighten hardware, adjust the alignment and test system balance for smooth operation. Because our garage is used as a woodturning shop -and wood dust is very bad for garage door's moving parts- he suggested a dust seal which can help prevent gears from stripping or burning out the motor. All in all, it was a quick process from our original phone call to finished appointment. Communication was excellent, as was the customer service. Will highly recommend All About Garage Doors to my neighbors and friends. read more

The spring on my garage door broke, so my car was stuck inside. I had so much to do today the company was able to get Tyler out the same day. Tyler was delightful to work with. He knew his stuff and he was so polite and did a wonderful job! All About Garage Doors is my company from now on. read more

On Saturday night, our garage door cables both snapped and we immediately set up an appointment for today (Monday) This was all done online so we didn't have to wait for a call back. Our appt window was 7am-11am. Spencer sent a message at 7:18 that he was on his way. He fixed everything broken, replaced some worn parts and checked on the opener from my last review. Top notch service. On a side note, we have this mean little chihuahua we love with all our hearts, but she's not for everyone. Spencer heard her barking and asked if he could meet her. My husband said she ran out of her crate and immediately went to Spencer for pets so if he's good by her, he's a good dude. Thanks AGAIN to AAGD and Spencer for everything! read more

Put in a request to have them come out and take a look late on Sunday as my garage wouldn't open, booked it online which was incredibly easy. Got a call the next morning by 7 to confirm my availability. They sent a a technician named Tyler Smith, who showed up by 11AM. He diagnosed the problem, explained everything that was wrong with my old opener plainly and clearly, and we had a new opener installed by 2pm. He was a great guy and I couldn't be happier with the value and service we received. Would 100% recommend. read more

The name says it all - this place does one thing and they do that thing incredibly well. Our garage door was crazy old and shoddy - it might've had the very first Genie door opener ever made. Johnnie and Spencer showed up right on time, got to work, and a few hours later, we had a brand new, silent, insulated, beautiful garage door. Johnnie and Spencer were awesome - they worked super fast, had some good tunes going, and were super friendly. I never really cared about garage doors before - but now I'm a super fan who loves showing ours off to the neighbors! read more

All About Doors installed new double and single garage doors this week and did a great job. The doors are made by Clopay - one of the best in the industry and the project cost was as good as any other quotes I received. I had hoped to get the doors installed before the end of March and they got it done. Trevor has been great throughout the process. Ryan and his install partner were engaging and thorough. Absolutely the best! I love the quiet door operation and the glass in the top section makes the garage bright during the day without turning on the lights. Lovin' it! read more

Great company. On time, did great job. very professional organization. estimate, installation and product!!

My gate has a lift Master system and after opening up the gate with the remote, it would not close. I even tried a different remote, still would not close. All about doors installed and programmed the system for me so I called them and the gentleman on the phone gave me some suggestions. one was to check the safety beam. I took a wash and wiped down both the beam window and the reflector. sure eno, that was the problem. a big thank you for the great customer service!! AAA+ business read more

Our garage door spring broke and we called All about Garage Doors to come out. They were able to schedule us within 2 days. The guys, Tyler and Spencer were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They did a thorough job of inspecting both doors, explaining the issues and provided 4 different options, besides just having the doors replaced. I will gladly use them again, but don't think it will be necessary. I highly recommend them and consider their services highly valuable. read more

Wow, what a great experience with All About Doors. First off, I should say that I am a tough judge when it comes to doing business with companies. I have very high standards and expectations for communication, timeliness, and quality. Needless to say, I have been let down on a number of occasions by a myriad of companies, both big and small. All About Doors was hands-down the best experience I have had with any home-improvement company. From the very first interaction, they went above and beyond in terms of communication, depth and breadth of expertise (both aesthetic and technical), and overall demeanor. I have now worked with most of the team members and each and every person has completely exceeded my lofty expectations, both my own as well as those set by their impeccable online reputation. Usually we have multiple bids for every project - not this time. We had Brian out to do a quote and we knew that we had found the team we wanted to support with our business, our dollars, and our recommending power. I knew that no one else could even compete and it would be a waste of time to have anyone else come out. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the install and the product, both in materials and presentation. It has completely transformed the curb appeal of our home. We have had multiple neighbors comment on our new door and ask us where we had the work done. Where All About Doors really sets themselves apart is when there was a slight hiccup. Trevor immediately stepped up wanting to help, even though it wasn't necessarily through any fault of his team. He cares about the outcome and nurturing a long-term mutually beneficial relationship. That is the mark of an exceptionally well-run company. I am now afraid to go anywhere else because I know that they won't be able to compete with All About Doors. Trevor, Steve, Brian, and Chris - It was an absolute pleasure working with all of you and I look forward to referring you to all of my friends and family. Keep up the great work. You have created a lifelong customer and advocate. read more

I have worked with many contractors over the years. Most are good and a few not so good. There is a third category which I call Rock Stars. Brian of All About Doors fits into that category. This was easily one of the best experiences I have had when dealing with a project at my house. All About Doors is a small business local to the area. They are responsive and easy to work with. The part of this that really impressed me with the installer, Brian. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to overhead doors. My garage door has been a bit strange since I bought my house in that it would jump and bang when you opened it up. When Brian came over, he knew exactly what was causing that and how to fix it. The old door operator was starting to go and would randomly open. Obviously, this is not a good idea for security and finally when it did that during the night it set off the alarm. It was time to replace the system and we bought a new one from Home Depot. All About Doors is a contracted installer for Home Depot and that's how I ended up working with them. When the door was diagnosed the issue that was causing it to jump and bang was fixed. We needed to replace weather stripping, and this was done at a very good price and without any feeling of being upsold to. Brian went on the completely service the door at no additional cost. It now works better than it ever has before and with the new opener is quiet and easy to use. The installation itself is also very professional in that all the wiring is clean and everything looks new. Where the old control was you can't even tell it had been changed. (There are no exposed holes or anything like that). I appreciate how easy this was to talk care of and would recommend both Home Depot and All About Doors to anyone that needs an operator replaced or serviced. read more

April 15, 2022 - These guys provide a great service. I called mid-morning and Steve picked up immediately. He took down my info and gave me a 2 hour estimate timeline for someone to come. The technician, Chris, later called to confirm he'd be at the house within 15 minutes. On-time, appropriately dressed, very polite, and very knowledgeable. He looked over the issue, explained it, and then fixed the problem within about 30 minutes (bracket holding the guideline to the wall had snapped. He swapped out the broken anchor bracket, reattached the guideline, greased the chain and tested several times to ensure I was satisfied with the work. They charged a very reasonable service fee given it was on-time same day service. I will definitely do business with them again if the need ever arises. I highly recommend them. read more

Jordan S is a good man and doing a good job for a replacement of my garage door opener. But the cost is a way too much, such as a pair of cable $85, a bearing $50, a set roller $200, and others too, with a total of $1,941. I am just not sure about it if an installation fee comes with the parts , why they still charge a labor fee for the job. read more

Referred by my sister after her door repair. I had 2 single garage doors to replace. They projected 6 weeks after the quote for materials (due to current distribution issues and steel availability) and were ready in about 3! Came out and spent several hours installing both doors. My house is older, so they had to make some accommodations, but all is fine. I LOVE the new doors. They talked into commercials casters, because who wants to do caster maintenance, and the doors are so smooth and quiet! The rails ended up blocking my cabinets, and I mentioned it to them as a 'I wish you had told me that it'd be an issue.' they came out and lowered them for me! I would definitely recommend them. They're installers were personable and professional and I'm really happy with the results. read more

Absolutely unethical. I hired their service indirectly through Home Depot because I needed help with replacing my garage door opener. When the repairman came by, he immediately said the one I purchased wouldn't work since I would need a custom one. I asked about repair but he immediately tried to sell me on purchasing a wall-mounted opener which is definitely not advised for residential and also would cost me $700 for installation and the whole package. I decided to call a different place and got my garage door opener for $95 which included tune up as well. So yes, All About Doors is not only a rip off but also unethical. read more

We heard about All About Doors from our neighbor who has a great experience replacing his garage door so, we thought what the heck let's give them a call! They scheduled a time to come out for an estimate and even had a structural engineer look at their pictures (at no cost to us!) to make sure taking out the central divider between our existing two garage doors was possible (which it was). We reviewed our door options, selected our new garage door, and they ordered and installed it for us! The part that impressed me the most was that one of the installers noticed a tiny dent in one of the panels (which not even my miticulous eye could see) and ordered another undented panel from the factory, which they came and replaced in 20 minutes once it arrived! I would not hesitate to use All About Doors again, and would recommend them to anyone. We couldn't be happier with our new door and our choice in All About Doors! read more

A+++ Best quote on replacing parts in my garage door opening system. Covid safe. Incredibly nice and explained the problem with the door very clearly. Did not suggest replacing parts that were not faulty. Arrived on time. Did the work quickly. Super nice and easy to work with. read more

Get your doors from this place. Friendly staff, reasonable price and quality work. I recommend this to everyone who wants to listen.

I called, spoke to a real person who scheduled me, had a guy come out the next day to assess the door and provide options and quotes, ordered the door, and had the door installed very professionally and at a great rate the next day. All in all a really pleasant, seamless, and up front experience. Also, no trip charge! read more

I originally got my opener from home depot, and when it was installed, the tech warned me that it wasn't the correct one my garage door needed, and that i should return it and get this other one from home depot. I laughed it off, thinking that he was trying to upsell me, but it took literally 12 days for the opener to stop working. I called all about doors because they left their sticker, but they explained that because they don't actually work for home depot, they just do installations for them, I'd have to call home depot. After WEEKS of dealing with home depot and all the umbrella companies, I just called all about doors again. Chris came out and recommended what I actually needed and explained why the other one didn't work in more detail. Honestly, I should've just done what he said first! Thanks for helping me out of a tight spot, guys. read more

I am very hard to please customer, I do my research well and ask lots of questions. All About Doors was very patient and helpful to me when I wanted to replace my garage doors. Trevor gave me the idea of raising the door to the ceiling since I have high ceiling on one side it was such a great idea, the garage looks so much nicer with the garage door not hanging on top of my head. He also suggested using my existing garage door opener to save 700 dollars. None of the other contractors I talked to was as smart as him. Then I could not decide on which door so Steve took me to all the vendors to show the doors. From the beginning to the end I was very impressed with the customer service. I have the doors for 6 months now, No problems so far. I would suggest everyone work with All about doors! read more

They should be called "All About Money" - I had springs replaced 2 months ago, having some issues now with the door hanging up on closing and, separately, an intermittent loud popping noise from the spring area. Called them to take a look, of course the spring wasn't making noise when they were here, the service person lubricated the spring. Apparently, since it wasn't making the sound while he was here, the company decided to charge me $79 for coming out, if it had made the noise it would have been a warranty call. My door never made loud popping noises prior to the repair, now it does and they charged me for that, I didn't even order that option - Ha! Will never use them again. read more

Sent an email and received a call the same day. Guy came out the next morning and did a complete assessment. Offered offers and an opinion which was nowhere near what the high priced option. Have not always had the best experiences with home repair companies but this one really stood out. Nice job. read more

Outstanding customer service! I emailed late on a Sunday night that our garage door was broken and could not be opened manually.....I was hoping to get a call back in the morning. However, much to my surprise, an employee called me within minutes to offer suggestions as to how we could open door so that we could get the car out for work on Monday morning. I was blown away that someone would take the time to call at 9:00 on a Sunday night. The next morning I got a call at 7:15 to arrange for a service call later in the morning. The tech was friendly, knowledgable and efficient. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a garage door repair. read more

All About Doors replaced our aging and sagging wooden garage door with a new steel door. So happy with the new door! It looks amazing and I love it! The new opener is so much quieter than our old garage door and I love how it turned out. The customer service has been top notch and very responsive. We had some problems initially with the door not closing right and they came back out immediately and fixed the problem quickly. I'm actually amazed at how great our new garage door is and they've exceeded my expectations. I'd strongly recommend this company if you're looking for a new garage door! read more

The installer arrived as scheduled and removed the old door and motor in less than half a day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend All About Doors for service or replacement.
