"go online and order something." Sounds like she isn't the sharpest pencil in pack. We are a "home office" as in an Investment Management shop. Unbelievably rude. When I asked to speak with someone else she retorted "I'm the Vice President of Business Development for the whole company." Wow. Not what I asked, but thanks for the information. This is a review of the OpenSquare's customer service center. The short of it: excellent customer service. The long of it: I had a Steel Case office chair that I had purchased years ago from another vendor which broke due to a material defect. It is still under warranty so I contacted the vendor who drug out the process for about as long as I could stand it. When they finally agreed to ship the parts required to repair it, they did so without any instructions whatsoever. I tried everything I could think of to make the repairs--website, Google searches--including contacting Steel Case directly (don't waste your time they won't talk to you). Finally, as a last resort I decided to see if any one else carried Steel Case and if they had a service center which is how I found OpenSquare. When I called I was connected with a service center employee named Tom. He was great. He gave me the instructions to fix my chair. Unfortunately I was unable to get it to work so I called back and he offered to fix it for me if I brought the chair to their center. Five minutes after bringing it in, it was fixed. Tom was as nice and helpful in person as he had been over the phone. And there was no charge for his help. I can't say enough how much this impressed me. OpenSquare will be the first place I look from now on. Thanks Tom.

The entire process from start to finish was simple and we found it even better that we went to their store to pick out the materials. The communication is great and so far the staff has been kind, respectful and happy to do a good job (and work around my WFH lifestyle). The express clean doesn't go above and beyond with the cleaning, but they lay out clearly what that service entails in the description when you choose what you want. Price wise it seems a little high for what you get, but this is Seattle and I imagine it's not cheap to run a business and employ good staff, so no complaints from me.

We went to Carpet to go in Bellevue Saturday, 6/25/2022. We went there namely because it is part of…read morethe Costco program for flooring. It was an odd experience, to say the least. Upon entering the store, we heard a voice welcoming us but the only person we could see was helping someone else. The other person being helped and I were the only customers in the store. After walking across their showroom (probably about 60 feet) we realized a woman sitting at a computer was speaking to us. She did not offer to help us, but, instead suggested, that we "find something we like and throw it on their floor." We were perplexed. I believe her name was Betsy. She would not get up out of her seat to help us until we went over and asked her to please show us items connected to what we were looking for (luxury vinyl plank) and even then she seemed hesitant to get up. She came over and asked us if we had put the samples on the floor and we told her, "No, these were here when we arrived." We asked about prices, and she insisted we find something we liked and she'd let us know the price. It took entirely too much work to get any information from her. We had to ask her to show us what you have for LVP and ask specific questions (Ie: what brands are at the low end, what are at the high end, tell us about the bevels, etc). Finally, she began to share more information but it was clear we weren't a priority. Being new to looking at flooring, it was quite shocking and we left shortly thereafter. I am embarrassed for Costco.

Fast forward to now -- pregnant with my second, and we fostered a puppy for a few months on top of having a toddler running around. Between the accidents, the spills, and just the general chaos, my heightened pregnancy sense of smell had me noticing every single thing. After Guy was done, the house smelled brand new. I couldn't believe the difference. He was quick, thorough, and so easy to work with. Reasonably priced, and on top of communication from the very beginning. I also really appreciated how sweet he was with my 3-year-old -- talking to him and answering his curious questions while he as working on the stairs. I also like that all of the chemicals that they use are pet-friendly and not harmful to pets. That was a big plus, especially with our kitty roaming around during the cleaning. They arrived on time during the scheduled window that we were scheduled for. I wish I could show you after pictures after the cleaning. Many of our stains are completely gone, and the carpet looks like it is new. The carpet did not take long to dry at all, and since he performed the Pet treatment, it smelled so good afterward as it got rid of a lot of the pet odor from our pets.
