She is very thorough in her exam and very willing to take the time to answer any questions I may have. On my recent visit she even came out on the floor with me to look at frames. Eventually another staff member continued helping me look for frames. I did find a pair, but wasn't willing to commit that day. That wasn't an issue; I was given a quote and my details entered in the system. When I eventually went into order my glasses, there was a slight discrepancy in the amount and my quote. They honoured the quoted price.

I'm on disability and he won't change it back without charging me $110, not to mention it will cost me $200 for new glasses because the ministry covered the glasses with bad lenses. I can't use my old prescription. They told me my eyes were strained that's why my new prescription didn't work, but I can wear my old glasses fine. The only problem with my old glasses is the frame is falling apart. I will never return to this optometrist.

I've been wearing glasses and contacts for over 15 years now and go for checkups at Southpoint…read moreregularly. Whenever I'm due for a checkup, they perform a set of tests and they're always done in a very relaxing and comforting environment... which is important because having testing done on your eyes (and sometimes really close) can make you a little anxious. My family also has a history of poor eye-sight and eye health which my doctor is aware of, so he always performs additional tests on me aside from the standard set to ensure that there aren't any signs or changes that can lead to the development of any conditions. It's pretty much like visiting a personal trainer and having them create a program that's specifically tailored to you, to give you the results you want and avoid any potential health concerns. Most of the eye conditions in my family don't have preceding symptoms so having routine tests done that can help detect them early on is really important for me. And so far, so good! It's not often (for me anyways!) to find a clinic where you actually enjoy visiting. I feel like I'm in good hands and genuinely cared about. And by the looks of these other reviews.. I'm not the only one!
