I went into Maple Ridge location on a whim as my eyes were starting to hurt during my morning routine and I couldn't get any appointments to check my prescription. Ryan (turns out to be store manager) was SUPER helpful. He had a spot open for me to get my eyes tested in store with their doctor and yes turns out my prescription had changed by a measurable difference. What set Ryan apart; however from the usually store I go to, was that Ryan was Super informative and in layman's terms explained how prescription changed. Although there was four other customers, he was patient and had a nice sense of levity. He helped pick glasses for my face and we settled on some really fantastic David Beckhams. He suggested transitions and a lens That had a little permanent shading. I suggested a few add one as well, and what I like about Ryan as although the add ons I wanted would have benefited their bottom line, he said that they were really unnecessary! Wow. Trust. I am a return customer to Crystal Vision and Better Hearing in Maple Ridge. Chris and Claire on the hearing side are exceptional. I've purchased hearing aids from them and I recently brought my reluctant husband in to see them and they took great care of him. As much as I love them I'd like to speak about Ryan, the manager of the store. He helped me not just once or twice but the many times I came in looking for the exact glasses that I wanted. Ryan patiently gave me his opinion on different frames that I tried on. The ones we both liked, he put on hold for me until I wandered into the store again to continue looking. We'd then revisit the frames on hold along with looking at the new stock. I can't stress how patient Ryan was with me. Along with all of the staff, Ryan is very friendly and welcoming to customers in the store. PS. Ryan has a great sense of humour too. Extremely helpful and kind. Went in to get a pair of glasses and sunglasses. Listened to what I was looking for and helped pick out the perfect styles (were even honest when the ones i tried on did not suit me, in a very nice and helpful way). Explained all my lense options for me and let me test them out. When i went to pick them up the following week i tried on the sunglasses and did not love that they had a gradient, they let me know they have a 30 day guarantee and that i could try them out for a bit to see how it goes and if i don't like them i can return within the 30 days. there was even a delicious chocolate and gift card in my bag with my new glasses! To top it off i lost my receipt to submit to my benefits, called them up and they emailed it while we were still on the phone! read more

Crystal Vision to the rescue!! I have a garage door opener with very 3 small screws that came loose after I opened it to replace the battery. and I lost the screws as it fell apart on me. I wasn't sure where I could find any that small, so I went in to Crystal Vision to ask if they possibly had some screws that I could buy from them. Ryan was the bomb, he went to the back and found some screws that fit but he had to shorten them. There was no hesitation to help with with my problem, such helpful and caring people. Going through the process of picking out the right glasses for me is never a fun experience. I have a challenging astigmatism and prescription and it typically takes a couple try's to get my new progressive lenses perfect. Ryan, Melody and Shelby at our local M.Ridge Crystal Vision were awesome. They took the time to find the right glasses for me and after a couple tweaks to my lenses Ryan was able to perfect my lense.I am very happy with my new glasses. The eye exam was thorough and never felt rushed, and the optometrist explained everything clearly and answered all my questions.
