I was very pleased with how smooth the scheduling process went and how accommodating they were with my busy work schedule. I was seen by two providers (let's say provider 1 and provider 2 for privacy purposes). Provider 1 was very helpful by discovering a baseline and developing a course of action to strengthen some of the weaker aspects of my body. Provider 1 communicated with me that they were going to be out of town for 2 weeks. They also recommended that I were to be seen 2x a week for 4 weeks. So a different provider was assigned to me in their absence. A couple of days later provider 2 saw me for the first time and we discussed my history again. As soon as they were finished doing a basic adjustment with me they mentioned they typically spend their first appointment with a patient discussing history to later develop a plan. Do providers not refer to prior patient notes at all? Wouldn't have provided 1 laid out a game plan for provider 2 to pick up at? They proceeded to tell me that they would continue to address my concerns at the next appointment. Forget about it. My job only covers 12 appointments a year and I was finished with wasting my time. Major logistical issues. Why would provider 1 be assigned to me if they knew they were going to be gone? That ruins the streamline for continuity. Provider 2 didn't seem to even mention any of my concerns and when it comes to my health and wellbeing I would rather spend time elsewhere.

Did I not know how to contact one of the urgent care clinics (I did see after that they had these but not open til 1pm). Did I not know that I could get Azo at any drug store? From what I understand this is just to help with the discomfort but doesn't exactly treat anything. Maybe she was having a bad day. I don't know. But I wonder why people go into this line of work if they just diminish your reason for being there?

A month later, I'm told 'you have an outstanding balance of $128 - When I asked why, the response literally was 'I don't know, you just have a balance.' Now it turns out that the amount my insurance covered was 'less than we assumed.' None of that was ever explained throughout the process, until after I got my past due notice. Fact is, the cost is now as much as it would be for new frame and lenses anywhere else - Had I known that, I wouldn't have agreed to the transaction. Add to that the whole 'insurance paid less than we thought' thing - I've bough many a pair of glasses under the same insurance I have no - Never had an outfit pull that one on my before. When I complained, the office manager paid lip service to waiving the $128, but literally when I got home, my wife said she'd paid the bill - When I emailed that fact to the store, twice, I received zero response or acknowledgment, and still have not a few weeks later. My my vision right away was not good so I had to retake the round of drops. The second round improved my vision but I needed to have the bottom tear duct plugged. Best vision that I could have hoped for. The doctor wanted me in for a 6 month follow up which I went to. But, now the bills start rolling in with explanations that we are outside the "global" time of 90 days. When I asked on the pricing up front the response was that it included any follow up treatment and care. I guess that they are as good as their word.
