Came here for an eye exam as it's been awhile since I've gone to get my eyes checked. My previous optometrist had retired and I had Lasik done a while ago. Only recently did I notice a slight change. I booked an appointment for their comprehensive wye exam. They do several tests: pressure, retina scan, etc. Sorry, can't remember the names of the other tests. The receptionists are friendly and are helpful when explaining the billing/insurance process. I thought my eyes was worse but it's 20/20. I used to love this place; I've been going here for years. However, Dr. Reis and his business has gotten WAY too busy! I received a text message in May telling me I was due for my next eye examination in June, so I called right away to schedule an appointment for June, only to be told he had no availability until December! That is unacceptable. At least change your messaging system so that if your patient is due for an exam in June and there is a 6-month wait, send a text message the previous January! After going here for years (well before Dr. Reis took over the practice), I'm now looking for a new Optometrist, one that can see me on a more timely basis. read more

I've seen their team change a bit over time and had 3 doctors, Dr. Reis is the founder, the OG if you may, and on a class of his own. He's popular and hard to book so I went with Dr. Tsui who was simply amazing and now I see Dr Mariam, who is like if Dr. Reis had reincarnated in another body. It's really chaotic and horrible operation system with them opening a new store. I simply need to pick up my glasses, and I came in 3 days in a roll to just do that. Monday, they replaced their Burnaby location with their Vancouver location on Google map. And I drove to the new location thinking they moved. Just to find out they made a mistake on Google map. Tuesday, they closed early at 6pm without changing their open time on their website, door front, or Google map. I drove an hour to the store and the store was locked and no one's picking up the phone. The chaos and waste of my time really threw me off. It just felt like they focus more on their new location and potential patients. No complaint on doctors, they are nice. read more

After not getting much help seeing a regular physician (and also a specialist) regarding an eye issue I had, I found myself seeking answers. Luckily, I found Integra Eyecare Centre. I ended up getting my eye exam done, and purchased glasses and contact lenses here. I was outright amazed to receive such comprehensive care. The staff were all helpful, patient, and understanding here. I've been to other places where I felt like I was being rushed out the door, but this place actually made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Prpic was able to give me so much information on the problems I was having with my eye, and he answered all of my questions. I found him to be very helpful and kind. He was able to explain the findings from the tests I had, and he was able to convey what I needed in order to maintain my eye health. As far as eye exam testing, they seem to go above and beyond here. Normally i've been accustomed to a very basic eye exam from other places i've been to, but at Integra Eyecare Centre they have several different tests to get a complete picture of the condition of my eyes. Getting glasses here was a breeze. I happen to have a high index prescription, so it's usually hard to have lenses made that aren't awkward and thick. They were able to have my lenses made really thin, and helped me choose the right frame as well. The other thing that really made me happy was the fact that they were able to help me find daily contact lenses. At just about every other place i've been before coming here, I asked about getting daily contact lenses, and i've either been told it's impossible, or that they just weren't available for my prescription. The key thing is, no one ever even bothered to try and look for daily lenses for me, they just assumed that because of my prescription that I wasn't able to have them. Integra Eyecare actually took the step of finding the right brand of contact lenses to suit my prescription, and were very detailed and informative about everything surrounding glasses and contact lenses. I couldn't believe I was actually able to have what I wanted for years, daily contact lenses. It made my day. I was thoroughly impressed, and I am really happy I came here. I just wish I found this place much sooner. read more

I'm with integra last 15 years and I have to say different people different taste. I don't know the doctors but I know the optometrist boss aka GOD and his name is Craig. Best optometrist in Canada. I got type I diabetes for 45 years and my vision (now with glasses) is 20/20 and it's all thanks to Craig and Doctor Dhanda in New Westminster. The doctors in Integra are no joke, they would burn everything in between just to get you to proper specialist. I'm able to see thanks to Integra office and optometrist and the doctors. Of course you have to be polite, rude behavior doesn't get you anywhere. The appointment can be long but don't forget they are doing everything for you . I'm diabetic and they saved my eyes ... 2 more days and I would be blind because the veins were bleeding in my both eyes and I was immediately transferred to doctor Dhanda and he fixed me. I swear once I would go blind I would blow my head off but they managed to save my vision. Thanks you Craig, doctors in Integra and staff. Really nice optometry clinic / eyewear store. Located in Highgate in South Burnaby. My husband had a really good experience at this location so I decided to try it out for myself. Very clean, modern and friendly staff. My whole eye examination went well, painless and quick. Dr. Reis was very informative and knowledgable. Really modern equipment, intake form was on a tablet, and I saw my eye in 3D, very cool! They also do direct billing with extended health, which is very convenient. It was $109.00 for a comprehensive eye exam. The eyewear selection was good has some high end designer frames like Gucci, Ray-Bans, Tiffany, so on. Good selection of sunglasses as well. I am shocked what happened to me. Integra Eye care Centre offered me to make a refund for my lenses because they were causing me eye pain. They gave me a cheque and when they took my lenses they wrote me an e-mail that they canceled the cheque because they found some one star review on google. It was not my review. They threatened me if I will not remove my review that they will not give me my refund. When I called them dr. Reis hang up on the phone. I called again and I spoke with another owner of this business - dr.DANIELA ALBUQUERQUE and she did not want to tell me if the cheque was really cancelled and she was laughing and telling that they will communicate with me only via e-mail. When I came in for my first visit last year, I really didn't know what to expect. It was my first time getting an eye exam in years, and I didn't know how to bring up the topic of contact lenses, after being told I should be ashamed of my poor vision (at my old eyecare center). It was a really nice change as soon as I got to Integra. At this clinic, the staff really take care of you. Everyone including the receptionists are super friendly! Both the optometrists I've had appointments with (Dr. Tsui and Dr. Prpic) are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain what is going on with your eyes, as well as give recommendations on how to keep your eyes healthy. These guys make it easy for you to ask questions and are really focused on giving the best service to your needs. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. You're really missing out if you go elsewhere for your eye exams! Bonus: you get to see your retina on a screen during your eye exam! I am 80 years old and had a "lazy eye" diagnosed in infancy. I also had consequent lack of binocular fusion /3D vision until, at the age of 60, a perceptuve optometry student prescribed glasses that began to correct this. Over the years I have seen several practitioners of the prescription technique that is part of an approach referred to as "behavioural optometry." After my previous optometrist retired, I was given the name of Dr Cindy Ho as an optometrist who was thought to be practitioner of "behavioural optometry" and could provide me with the glasses prescription that I require to maintain binocular fusion. Unfortunately, when I phoned the clinic, I was unable to speak to Dr Ho directly, but instead the receptionist emailed her and received the response that I would need to have a full examination - at a cost of a $70 copay - before they could even tell me whether or not she actually could do what I was asking about. Wish I found this place sooner! Was referred here to see Dr. Henry Reis for my complicated eye issues. I thought this was maybe just an eye glasses place with a few optometrists, but Dr. Reis has an ophthalmologist background and is quite the dry eye expert. Booking an appointment was a pleasant experience, and the patient intake process was very easy and efficient. They have great knowledgeable staff with more advanced technology being used. Dr. Reis was able to go through several rounds of tests to figure out the exact problem. I liked that he was honest and didn't try to push any products (my vision had changed marginally and it could've been an upsell case even though it wasn't necessary). I took my grandmother here because she had eye problems. Dr. Reis has some really cool imaging equipment that I hadn't seen before and the treatment he put my grandmother on helped to mitigate her retinal issue. Dr. Reis is friendly and welcoming. While we were waiting, I poked around the shop and the frames they carry are interesting and fairly priced as well. The tablets they use for checking patients in are pretty cool. read more

This was my first visit to see an Optometrist with a concern let alone with a foresight that I might need glasses. The clinic is very clean and modern, great first impression. The tech/assistant was very kind and explained everything to me during the pre-exam. Dr. Henry was very down to earth and I felt relaxed and well educated throughout my exam with him. Ultimately I needed glasses. I decided to proceed and purchase my frames directly after my exam, they gave me space to get familiar with their selection. The receptionist/assistant came over to help me and she was very very helpful - she was honest and had some great tips. Without her I most likely wouldn't have thought to try on the pair of glasses that I fell in love with. I would definitely recommend this clinic. I get the feeling that they might be on the more expensive side, but I'm not sure - the exam was $99 but with the new modern equipment that they used and the treatment/service I received it was money well spent! read more
