Although I had documentation that it was purchased in a similar Power Products store...not online, not in a back alley the man behind the counter asserted the paperwork I had was "From a Big Box Store" (oh the shame however falsely attributed) AND was a Chinese knock-off. Further he said even if it was "real" it wouldn't be under warranty because it was purchased in 2022. Here are the facts: Purchased at Red Bluff Outdoor Equipment which is decidedly not a Big Box Store. It is not a knock off, and was apparently made in South Carolina. So I'm thinking you should not be so accusatorial. Your job is customer service and rather than to belittle me. Try reading the paperwork which plainly showed the Five Year (consumer) warranty. Reading at 5th grade level should have been a pre-condition of working customer dis-service IMHO.
