I had a baby bracelet made for my granddaughter here in 2024. We love it. I picked the gold I wanted, and brought a stone(her birthstone)and they attached it to the gold like a charm, and made it adjustable, for her to grow in to. The saleswoman was knowledgeable, creativehelpful. It was a magical experience for us, thank you. See you soon, I just had a grandson and will be in for another bracelet read more

I recently went to Kirk's Jewelry looking for a screw back for my Husbands diamond stud earring that was lost. Elena assisted me, she was extremely helpful, professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. Kirk's Jewelry replaced the gold post 2 years ago and the experience was just as pleasant. Not more than 3 hours after authorizing the repair, I found the earring back. Needle in a haystack find! When I called Elena the next day, she was happy I found it and even had the earring deep cleaned for me and the gold post straightened. I highly recommend Kirk's Jewelry. Professional , personable, friendly and worth it. Thank you so much !!!! read more

First of all I want to make sure to say Elaina (spelling? Sry) was great! And I love the ring (wedding set) I bought for my wife, and so does she! Now, that being said, when I brought the two rings that I bought back to be soldered together, they held onto it for a week which was a very long time for my wife who had just received this ring as a gift. Would have made much more sense just to have me drop it off on the day of or the day before the jeweler was going to get to it. But they told me that the ring had to get in line! Additionally, when I was considering buying just the solitaire without the band, they told me they would knock $800 off because that's what the band was worth. I ended up buying the band and, in fact, now want a duplicate band for the other side of the solitaire. But now, just a few weeks later, a new duplicate ring is all of a sudden going to cost me $1600. And to top it off I was told that the reason it DOUBLED in price, going up in price by 200%, was because the price of gold has gone up. When in fact, this past month and this past year gold has dropped...approximately 8%. None of this makes sense... I guess they are like used car salesman after all. (not Elaina) Please don't make stuff up! Your customers aren't as stupid as you are. And the fact that this representative either lied or really doesn't know what the cost of gold is doing is very disturbing. So disappointed. Oh wait, there's more, now that the ring is soldered it has to be reappraised because apparently a two rings soldered together are worth a different amount than two rings that are separate. I'm not even upset about that, but the fact that a week was not enough time for them to solder it AND appraise it, because apparently it's a four hour process to re-appraise a ring that was just appraised a few weeks ago. read more

There is no other jeweler like Kirk's Jewelry. Everything is one of a kind with so much thought and creativity put into it. And truly, each person is a joy to walk into and interact with. Just recently took my friends there that have their own pieces of jewelry, and not only did they clean them without hesitation, and also fixed my dear friend's grandma's ring that's been a long time of searching to fix! Kirk's is impeccable. read more

Update: Brought my wedding ring in for some cleaning and polishing. Stone was broken by jeweler, but was replaced with an equal, if not better, stone at no charge! In order to keep the original stone my husband picked out a priceless piece, they fixed it, turned it into a pendant and put it on a beautiful chain for me! No Charge for this either! Shipped both FedEx overnight once they were done, as you may assume, at no charge! Now I have a beautiful everyday necklace and it matches my wedding ring. Very happy customer! I still need to fix the band a little, but was told to come by anytime or mail it back, and they will fix whatever is needed. The communication and amazing customer service I received from Carmen and the staff was on point! I will definitely be working with Kirk's for future pieces. read more

I cannot say enough about this amazing local jeweler!! I've been a client for six years... And I have had nothing but amazing service! Just recently my husband decided that my engagement ring should be updated - the fantastic staff helped me select a new setting, ordered a gorgeous stone, and I had my new ring within two weeks. I'm really bummed and I didn't want to leave this review but even after many days it's still weighing heavy on both my husband and I. I went in very excited to check out Kirks as I have always heard great things. But days later I'm still extremely upset thinking about how poor my experience was with Elena. We came in with two ideas for jewelry and we were made to seem like idiots for thinking what we did. She did not offer any other suggestions or help. I led the conversation and other ideas just so it wasn't as uncomfortable. I don't think either of us have ever tried to work with someone as rude. She could at least fake it and sell me the jewelry or help us find a better option. Totally disappointed, we took our business else where. read more

Great, local jeweler that keeps the customer in mind. I've taken my engagement ring in twice, once for a loose prong that they fixed within a few days. Recently, I broke the whole ring (crack in the basket, stone fell out) and they took great care of us. They were upfront that it might take two weeks fo fix, so their jeweler could check the integrity of the band. It was ready in a week and one day, and the solder isn't even noticeable to the untrained eye. They do really good work, and offer to clean it any time I'm downtown. They were super helpful when my fiance went in to choose the stone and band. I'm so happy he decided to shop small, I doubt we'd get such positive and helpful treatment from a larger jewelry chain. read more

I am an "away" customer who could not be there in person. I trusted Chris to meet with her jewelers and brokers to decide on the proper stone for my ring for my anniversary. She went out of her way throughout the entire process (texting, phoning, sending pictures, measurements, shipping); treating it as if she were selecting one personally for herself. Many thanks to Chris especially, and her staff involved in the process. This was a major upgrade I wanted, and I am thrilled with the trusted result! read more

I have used Kirk's over the years. I have bought jewelry and stone from them and could not be happier with my purchases. I think their strength is having them custom make jewelry. I usually work with Sadie but have worked with Chris as well. Both are intelligent, thoughtful and listen to what I wanted. All of the pictures are of pieces they designed with me. The only warning is they are slow. If you need something done, give them ample time to design, mold, cast, create and finish any project. I strongly recommend using them!!!! See photos for a little of what they can do. read more

Got my wife's wedding ring repaired here. Main diamond had to be reattached and a baguette had to be replaced. The ring came out looking brand new, and better than I expected. Also, they finished it early and final price was actually less than the initial quote - which means they were honest about what work was actually performed. What more could I ask for? Very pleased and would go back here again. read more

2 employees were extremely rude. Don't go there unless you want to buy over priced jewelry.

A GEM to be seen, right here in downtown Chico! My fiance had my ring custom designed at Kirk's, and it is more beautiful than I ever imagined. We always work with Skip, and he is just great, so kind and helpful! We loved their service so much, we purchased my fiance's wedding band from there as well. We found it in their estate room, there is some AMAZING stuff in that room! Kirk's is a beautiful business, filled with nice people, and I would trust them with any of my jewelry. I am not sure what is up with all of these negative reviews, but I can tell you from my own experience, this place is absolutely a pleasure to work with. Thank you Kirk's! Can't wait to shop with you in the future! read more

I have bought 3 beautiful rings over the years from Kirk's jewelry. Recently I bought a trio of beautiful diamond bands there. I have always loved the jewelry selection and the service is amazing. No matter who you get at the front , Chris, Carmen or Laura, they are always super friendly, and very knowledgeable. It is a pleasure to see all of them when I bring my rings to be cleaned. I also like their new vintage jewelry counter. Kirk's gets my thumbs up !!! read more

I got engaged last July and after a couple months one of the small diamonds came out. My fiancé had bought the ring at Lang Antiques in San Francisco, after they replaced the diamond I noticed that it did not resemble the other diamonds therefore my ring looked off to me. I decided to take it to Kirk's in Chico because it's local and had heard good things. They treated me so well! They told me they could replace the diamond and re-set it to help it resemble it's antique counterparts. After about a week they contacted me and told me they cleaned the diamond in a special solution and thought that it looked much better and that I may not need to replace it, upon inspection they were right! It looked amazing! They did all this for free! I will definitely be back to Kirk's for all of my jewelry needs!! Thank you! read more

I went into Kirks jewelry store on 3rd in Chico Ca, to get my Wedding ring fixed. I have had this ring for 35 years. The stone fell out, I was referred by a nearby business. I showed my ring the women at the counter and she said we don't work on sterling silver. In a haughty voice said the repair will cost more than the ring is worth. She so looked down her nose at my ring. She took it to the repair person in the back, after I told her we were referred. Came back with an outrageous repair price. These people are in a small town and can't afford this attitude. My ring is very precious to me and I don't like being being dismissed by a minimum wage clerk. read more

I absolutely love the whole team at Kirk's! My husband and I got all of our wedding bands there and they've done nothing but take good care of us! They made the ring shopping process super easy. Kirks is a local chico business that I love supporting. Carmen is an absolute treasure to the store. She worked with my husband to have my beautiful engagement ring designed and made sure it was exactly what he (I) wanted. We also purchased my wedding band here. I stop in frequently to have my rings cleaned, polished or rhodium plated and the staff is always fast, efficient and helpful. If Carmen is working, I'll make a special trip in just to say hello and get my rings examined. She always remembers my name and makes me feel like she appreciates our business and that we are not simply another customer. Thank you Kirks and Carmen for being so wonderful! I look forward to purchasing many more beautiful pieces in the future! read more

I Love Kirks Jewelry I'm so glad we decided to stop by Kirks Jewelry. My fiance and I had shopped at 2 other jewelry stores for wedding bands and I just couldn't find something that matched my engagement ring well until we shopped at Kirks Jewelry. I ended up finding a beautiful bridal set that I fell in love with --which worked out better, because I upgraded my solitaire engagement ring! The rings were perfect, the price was perfect and best of all--the service was perfect. Everyone was so helpful, but Chris really made it such a pleasant experience for us. My fiance even was able to find his wedding band with them too. We are absolutely happy with our rings and happy with the service. I was so happy with them we came back to purchase a gemstone two days later! Alex read more

My experience here was so great. Beautiful merchandise (and wonderful, creative displays too) and top notch customer service. Theresa helped my fiancé and I pick out wedding bands. There was no pressure and no rushing through things. We were so pleased with the entire experience, down to the follow-up greeting card in the mail to congratulate us on our wedding. read more

My wedding ring had a damaged prong. I was so worried the diamond would fall out so I took it in to get an estimate on time of repair and price. I was originally told it usually takes a week. When I explained I was headed on a vacation in 4 days and hoped to have the ring before then they made sure to get it done today! They had it done in less than 4 hours! They fixed the damaged prong, reinforced the other 3, and cleaned the ring so it looks brand new! Very pleased with quality of work, price for work, and staff experience. Will be a return customer read more

I went in to get the rhodium recoated on my wedding set. The lady at the counter offered to polish the ring first, to see if maybe that's all it needed instead of a new coat. The other lady offered to polish my husband's ring too, and they did this for free! I appreciated that -- they could have made an easy $90 sale right off the bat but chose to create positive customer relations instead. They were friendly and fun as well. Thanks ladies! read more

The store looks lovely and the service is attentive. They did do a good job bringing my design to life but failed miserably in the quality department. Foolishly we forgot to listen to the old adage that "not all that glitters is gold." My wedding ring was appraised for a LOT less than the purchase price we paid. I realize that the replacement value for insurance purposes always comes out significantly higher than the purchase price. However the discrepancy in this case was astronomically different and the diamond was NOT the quality that I supposedly was told I had purchased. My husband purchased my wedding ring from Kirk's before he heard about the owner's reputation as a businessman . Had we known, we never would have set foot in that store. Chico is still a quaint and small town and this affords us the luxury of asking around and learning about a business and the people who own it. Usually one makes a substantial investment when purchasing a piece of jewelry. Don't listen to me or anyone else. Ask Chico business owners and real estate brokers about Kirk Bengston's reputation and integrity. You are buying something very tiny and very expensive and you need to be 100% confident that you are getting your money's worth. read more

Kirk's is a warm, friendly place to find the perfect piece (what you would expect from a store that's been in business for 35 plus years). I was recently in with a friend who was looking for ideas, styles for his soon to be fiancé's engagement ring. Chris and the girls were so helpful and we ended up getting an engagement ring that suited my friend perfectly! Not to mention they even cleaned my jewelry complimentary, they are shinier than ever!! read more

I'm truly impressed. After reading my review, the associate I referred to took the time to message me personally. It really says a lot to us that she went out of her way to apologize and then to go and donate to our honeymoon was above and beyond! I'm really touched by the gesture and sincerity of her words. I've NEVER written an update to a review but that's just how impressed I am. It takes a lot of humility and class for someone to apologize, and the way that she did so was so professional and heartfelt. She made it clear that the incident was not a reflection of the company, but of her just having a bad day. We have all been there I know. I feel very confident going back to Kirks for future business. Thanks again, Carmen, for the first class customer service! read more

Kirk's Jewelry is awesome! I broke the chain of my favorite necklace so I took it in to see if they could fix it. Just purchased my fiancés wedding band here and I am so pleased with everything, from the customer service to the quality and design of the ring. I love that you can go in and pick your favorite aspects from several of the rings and design something yourself. My fiancé wanted something unique and that is exactly what I was able to give him. I was nervous about the design coming out the way I pictured it but when I received it this week it was better than I could have imagined, it fits perfect and he absolutely loves it. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. They estimated 4 weeks for the ring to be done and it took just that. I am so happy with the quality. I would recommend them to anyone, especially if you are designing a wedding band. I found the prices to be very reasonable and standard for gold. read more

Such amazing service it blew me away! My engagement ring wasn't purchased here, but my fiance and I went in to get my finger appropriately sized. To be honest, we weren't going to get the ring resized here because we got a complimentary resizing through Brilliant Earth. That being said, without even mentioning that, the woman who helped us gave us an excellent recommendation for the best size, and said that the resizing would be complimentary. I was surprised in the best way, and she said they could have the ring done on Saturday (we went in on Tuesday). I mentioned that we would be out of town, but that I didn't mind picking it up Monday. The woman (I wish I knew your name, you angel!) said that they couldn't have that and that she would make sure it was done Friday by the time I left town. To my surprise, they got it done Thursday. When it was returned, it was sparkling and beautiful. Needless to say, we'll be getting our wedding bands from this amazing place and any other future jewelry needs as well. Thank you again!! read more
