Lobster Surf & Turf

First time at this location & we really enjoyef it. The foods were delicious and flavorful. The server we had was very nice. We had a reservation & it's good we did because they had a wait for a Friday night. The ambiance inside was nice. Place isn't too big. Downside is parking is hard.

We came by for lunch on a Saturday. We were met right away at the hostess stand and sat right away. The restaurant was at about half capacity. The waiter came by right away and got our drink orders while we figured out what we wanted to eat. They have great lunch specials that will not leave you hungry. I got the Poké duo bowl picture attached. It was delicious. My wife got a salad with tofu. It came out accidentally with salmon on it. She doesn't eat salmon so she let them know they made a mistake. They took the dish back and within a few minutes. Both enjoyed our food and drinks. This is a nice place. Great big windows very friendly staff even semi outdoor seating with a fire pit. I'm sure we'll be back next time we're looking for lunch in the area.

Did a group order at work. I usually don't eat here nor order from here on my own. I love their salmon chowder but the rolls are ok.

We ordered the Mixed catch from the main menu. It was extremely delicious. We also ordered the Chili-Lime fries from the Happy Hour menu. That dish was great as well. The atmosphere and service was friendly and inviting. It made you feel at home once you entered the door. I would definitely recommend this place. Come during Happy Hour for snacks and drinks at a reduced price. The mixed catch had cod , coconut shrimp, calamari, sesame slaw & choice of fries or salad . All very good , the salad is mixed greens , edamame, cherry tomatoes... Fair beer selection

Stopped for lunch last Wednesday and was excited to see steamed clams on the menu. They were Manila clams with herb garlic butter, white wine, chilis, lemon and cilantro and they were delicious. My mom ordered a poke bowl and the poke was extremely fresh and flavorful like always. Service was also wonderful. Love this place.

Love this place and location!! I'm not a seafood eater, but I truly enjoy the bowls here. I order teriyaki chicken when I'm here. This particular location is fabulous for when you're at the DeYoung or Cal Academy or the Arboretum or the tea garden. I love everything about it. The outdoorish space with the fireplaces, the indoor dining area with its light and airy feeling. The beautiful bar in the center front. It just works! Food is good. Solid every time. Service is adequate to better than average. Overall, it's a win in the city. I will return!

I only get the ahi wasabi rice bowl.....for years! It has improved over the past months. I feel like they are paying more attention to the plates that come out. Went for lunch. The ahi on the bowl was perfectly prepared. (In the past it was always pieces with the string of white in it and barely any ahi). We had friendly and attentive service. Love the interior and menu updates. Will return more for lunch!

Mexican Grill Bowl tasted as nice as it looked.

Because Pacific Catch has been known to send text messages announcing things like steep discounts on rainy days I allow them to text me messages. For the same reason, I've also downloaded their app and given them my birthdate. People who turn over this information get an annual birthday gift, generally in the form of a regular-sized "bowl" of which there are several to choose from. I recently popped into this Pacific Catch location to enjoy that complimentary bowl. Though I was headed back to Marin - where there's also a Pacific Catch - I've personally found that I prefer the food at this location (despite both featuring the same menu). A few years back Pacific Catch remodeled this location and I really enjoy the airiness; it well-matches the food. I opted for the Mexican Grill Bowl featuring seared shrimp and a lot of other ingredients that they continually tinker with. I preferred back when this bowl featured corn on the cob (rather than corn off the cob, as it now does) but I can't argue with its taste or presentation: shrimp, corn, tortilla chips, guacamole, brown rice, organic greens and other things that I likely didn't even notice. This bowl was enough for two meals and the fact that I consumed nearly the whole thing in one sitting is a good indication of how much I enjoyed it. Pacific Catch - this location in particular - provides a reliably enjoyable meal and an ever-changing rotation of happy hour deals. I might not ever get excited to find myself here but when I do? I always enjoy it.

Stopped here for dinner before we headed to light scape. Food here was delicious I got the mixed catch which had cod, coconut shrimp, and calamari. It came with some coleslaw slaw and a salad. All this for $23.95. Thats a good price for all that food. My husband got a ahi tuna salad. Which he loved. I'll definitely come back. They also have a great HH too.

We came here for lunch because we were looking for places that weren't too far from the Golden Gate Bridge. I wished they had more food places within walking distance of the bridge, considering that you have to Uber everywhere in SF. We were seated right away in the bar area. We just did a walk in, no reservation. We ordered Hawaiian pork belly sliders, lobster roll, and wagyu cheeseburger. My only complaint is that the Hawaiian pork belly sliders only had 3 sliders yet it cost $15? Those appetizers should all be like $12 and below. It should not cost as much as an entree. The other two items were priced correctly. Service was alright, nothing really memorable. Hawaiian pork belly sliders were overpriced and the pork belly could have been more tender. I would want it to melt in my mouth so it was like a 3 out of 5. Just okay. The lobster roll was pretty tasty. The wagyu cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, about medium rare to medium. I don't want it to be chewy. Those are a 5 out of 5. I did like that they gave us a lot of greens for the salad and coleslaw. It definitely made the meal more filling. This is overall a 3.5-4 star kind of place. Fix the appetizer prices and this can be a solid 4.

Fish tacos with sweet potato fries

My daughter wanted their fish tacos and as usual, she couldn't finish. Thank goodness, I ordered an appetizer of sea bass skewers. So we shared. Her boyfriend had the cod - he said it was bland, but he likes salty foods imho. Maybe have salt and condiments on the table? Friendly service. Booth seats were comfy and nice n bright inside.

Booked a reservation for my family after my graduation ceremony, and this was the perfect spot! The atmosphere is casual-elevated, the interior is clean and open, and the space has plenty of large tables if you have a big gathering. All of the food we ordered was so good, but we especially loved the soy poke nachos. They were a big hit for our table even in my dad who usually hates raw fish. The service was impeccable and the staff were super attentive. I'm so happy I got to celebrate my graduation with my family at Pacific Catch!

Hawaiian Poke Bowl

Went recently with family after a visit at the California Academy of Sciences for lunch. It was perfect as it was just a short walk from there. Its located just on the corner of 9th Avenue and Lincoln Way. They have plenty of seating inside and even somewhat on the outside with a small fireplace. The moment we came in, the 6 of us were seated quite quickly. A few of us ordered the Hawaiian Poke Bowl while the others ordered the Wagyu burger and the 3 piece fish and chips. For an appetizer, we ordered the calamari and Hawaiian Pork Belly Sliders. The pork belly sliders were delicious but for 3 mini sliders, $15 seemed a tad overpriced. Calamari was decently sized and good. Poke bowls were decently sized. My son's Wagyu seemed to please him though although he pointed out he wanted it plain with just ketchup, they still put all the toppings on it..rather than bugging someone about it, he scraped everything off of it. The fish and chips seemed to please the one who ordered it as it was perfectly crisp and flakey fish with plenty of fries. I think the only complaint is that they give too small a serving of the tarter sauce with such big fish pieces. Service was quick and friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean as well as bathrooms when needed to go. A nice, relaxing atmosphere to have dinner with family and friends.

Tacos El Patron is still my go-to spot for birria tacos in the city…read more Food: I first discovered birria tacos during the pandemic and went on a mission to find the best one. A coworker recommended this place, and now I recommend it to everyone. What stands out is the balance--everything is done well. The meat is rich and flavorful, the tacos themselves are just as good, and the consommé ties everything together perfectly. I've tried places where one part is strong but something else falls short, but not here. You also get free sides like onions, cactus, radish, and beans, which make the meal even better. I've been coming back ever since, and I can easily finish three tacos in one sitting. On my most recent visit, I had two birria tacos and tried their birria ramen. It was surprisingly good--comforting and flavorful, more like a homemade dish than anything instant. For drinks, I've tried all their jugos, and the jamaica is the standout--get it in a large. Service: Friendly, efficient, and straightforward. Orders come out at a good pace, and the staff keep things moving even when it's busy. Ambience: The space has a Frida Kahlo-inspired design, which adds character and makes it feel lively and unique. There's one restroom available. Parking: Parking can be a bit difficult in the area, so expect to walk a little--but it's worth it once you get your food. Tacos El Patron is worth the effort to figure out where to park, etc. it's not quite a hole in the wall, but it definitely is on the smaller side, and we ended up getting food to go because it was just easier. The birria quesadilla was a total surprise. It was FILLED with a very generous amount of meat. The meat was tasty, lightly seasoned, and the portion truly is a shareable. We asked about the consommé and I don't know if they just forgot it or what happened but we never got to try it. The shrimp taco was tasty and absolutely filled with again generous amount of shrimps. Ironically, it wasn't my favorite. It just was lacking the level of flavor that I really wanted. The Carne Asada was mediocre at best and not something that I would order again. The winner out of the numerous items that we ordered was the pork belly and the Al pastor. Between the two, the Al pastor is the one that you want. Incredibly well seasoned, a nice hint of light spice, the meat was juicy and tender, and the combination in the taco was outstanding. Seriously so good that my mouth is watering just thinking about how tasty it was. The chips were nothing to write home about, and I didn't really care for salsas that came with the meal. Really reasonably priced, generous amount of food, and absolute worth the push in enjoying their food! Diners tip: there seems to be a description in cost between ordering online versus in the restaurant and you may get a better deal ordering online
