Still so good, but not quite as nice as the Sunnyvale location! We visited Pacific Catch on a Friday night and our party of 5 got seated right away with no reservation. I had only been to the Sunnyvale location before, which I was obsessed with. This one was clearly a bit older, and the interior looked like it could use a refresh. However, the indoor patio we were seated on had a nice ambiance - dim lighting, comfortable seating, water feature, etc. For drinks, I got the Mint & Lime "Nojito", which was tasty and refreshing. We also ordered a few shared plates for the table. Unfortunately, they were out of guacamole, so we chose the Original Ahi Poke, Coconut Shrimp, and Chips & Salsa. All three of these were great, and perfect to share as a group. For my entree, I chose the Sushi "Taco" Trio Mix & Match, which was awesome. The portion size was pretty small, but considering our other shared items, it was perfect for me. Out of the three tacos, the salmon was probably my favorite. We also shared an order of the Chile-Lime Fries. I couldn't get enough of these, and was obsessed with the dipping sauce they came with. My friends all loved their food as well, including the Korean BBQ Steak, Mixed Catch, Hawaiian Bowl, and Thai Brussels. I did notice that this location has a smaller menu than the Sunnyvale one - no Poke "Bombs" and fewer taco options. However, we had a great dinner and would definitely return! read more

Steamed clams are back! I've been here 3 days in a row! I used to come everyday for the steamed clams! Go hang out with Lupe! Lupe is the best bartender in the game! My go to is the steamed clams sides of skirt steaks and mashed potatoes but everything on the menu is good. You have to get the steamed clams though I think about it all day at work and just can't resist I have to go. My favorite part about this place outside of the food is everyone around you makes you feel like family, when I eat here I feel like I'm just having lunch or dinner at home! You have to see Lupe and try one of his drinks. read more

I didn't realize I had an earlier review for this location, but Pacific Catch still has a special place in my heart. I remember the first time I ordered the WestCoast Style Grilled Fresh Salmon and how I thought it was perfectly balanced. I visited the Santa Clara location about a year ago and got that, this time I got the same thing again. Pacific Catch is great if getting the best value is one of your top priorities. They have happy hour Monday through Friday with many different options on the menu and a couple of lunch specials every weekday as well. I had to take off a star because I wanted to stop by for happy hour only to be told that they weren't doing happy hour because of the ongoing dining room renovations. I wouldn't have even known that their dining room was under renovation had I not checked the website, but even the website made no mention that happy hour wasn't happening at this particular location or that there would be a limited menu. Add to it that happy hour was overtly advertised on the bulletin board outside the restaurant too! Anyways, I signed up for an account online and got a discount for a takeout order so I wasn't upset for long. The grilled salmon bowl was exactly as I remembered, good portion size and well balanced. I also got the guaca-poke as my free sharable for signing up, this was better than I thought it would be but I wouldn't pay the standard menu price if I were to get it again. I would definitely recommend stopping by during lunch, happy hour, or signing up for an account online if you're also always looking for the most value. read more

Brought my young child here for a snack and the host staff were warm and welcoming. We were sat promptly, and served in a timely fashion. The food was amazing (as usual) and the drinks were tasty! We had reservations for an outdoor table for 7. We got there 10 minutes early to find they'd given our table to another party. The hostesses were of no help. They tried to act like it was our fault it happened-- either we hadn't made a reservation or it was in another name. When they finally realized they'd given our table to another party there was no apology. The service was okay and the food was okay but i won't return. Their hostess staff needs training on how to deal with problems they create rather than trying to blame it on the customer. read more

I would consider this spot to be solid. I enjoy the food and drinks here, but I don't think they are anything special. Service is typically good, but you will get the rare newb that is having difficulties keeps up with all of their tables. This particular location has some great outdoor seating the booths. We came here with my godson a few times and they offer crayons and coloring menus for the kiddos. If didn't keep him occupied for long, but those are helpful for a bit. Now that I'm thinking about it, I've never actually sat inside for dining here. There are a lot of good places to eat in this area, but this is definitely a decent choice. read more

Ordered the Serrano Ahi Pok, sushi-grade ahi tuna that was fresh and tender, with a mild kick from the sliced serrano peppers. That said, it lacked sauce, so the flavor fell a bit flat. It also came with chips that were on the thicker, harder side, meh, not my favorite. Overall, it was just okay. On the other hand, the side of kimchi fried rice was delicious, definitely something I'd order again. read more

Pacific catch is a wonderful place. I always order take out when I am craving a good value poke bowl. The portion size of the poke bowl is perfect, not too large and not too small. I usually order the regular size. Pacific Catch allows you to truly customize your poke bowl with a variety of options, substitutions and add-ons. The prices at Pacific Catch are fantastic! Pacific Catch has amazing take out service with food prepared in record time. The estimated preparation time for my poke bowl was 18 minutes and the food was ready for pick up in less than 10 minutes. Pacific Catch has a wonderful reward system. I would definitely recommend everyone to sign up since you get a free bowl every year on your birthday just for being a rewards member. Your birthday reward is good for a month. I can't wait to come back to Pacific Catch and try some other entrees on the their extensive menu. I can't wait to dine in and sit in their newly designed dining room. read more

Always enjoy going to Pacific Catch at this location! They have a lot of seating space inside and outside. This location never gets super busy during lunch, so it is always a comfortable vibe! Poke nachos are pretty good to share. Entree wise, I usually order the west coast style grilled salmon. I enjoy all the different textures and for the value, it is quite filling. Parking can be difficult in the plaza. It's been awhile since I've been back, so I'm definitely due to come back soon! read more

Worst dining experience I've had in a long time. Hands down. And I'm almost positive it's because we weren't as well dressed as other tables. It was that or the fact that we complained about the hair we found in our food. Everything started well and we were sat around 7pm immediately as a table of 3. The food looked delicious on Yelp and we decided to try the Hot Fish Tacos for their glowing reviews. Ordering was no issue and it didn't take long to get our food. The issues started when my boyfriend took a bite out of his fish taco and stared down curiously at it. He then proceeded to pull and tug out this long black hair from deep in his taco. We were disgusted, but we know these kinds of things happen and the server apologized and replaced his food. He offered us a free dessert and we thanked him for dealing with the situation. Fast forward 30 minutes and our server is avoiding our table like the plague- doesn't come to give us a box, let us order the dessert, or ask for our check. No servers are around at all. We eventually gave up on him and asked the hostess at the front for a box and she had to get him so we could get the check. We didn't even order the dessert. The food is okay, but the hair and service left the worst taste in my mouth as I left. Parking lot is busy and full so expect to walk a bit to the restaurant. I love coming to the Pruneyard to eat, but I will not be coming back to this restaurant. There are better places to eat. read more

Great food, but horrible service. It was a slow Memorial Day afternoon during happy hour, yet we had to wait for a LONG time for any waiters/waitresses to help us order for food and pay for our the food (there were only about 3 other tables at the time we were seated). We were seen by multiple waiters/waitresses (didn't introduce themselves), but they weren't even apologetic for having us wait. Service wasn't this slow in other locations; even in San Francisco locations on busy days they were on top of it, but not this location. We love Pacific Catch, but unfortunately did not enjoy the experience in this location. read more

Long overdue review for this Pacific Catch location. I ordered take out twice and dined in once. Love the atmosphere of this place. Staff were very welcoming. P.S. Service is okay, they didn't check on us so evidently we needed to call the server whenever we need something like water. The food is horrible, $19 for a wagyu burger that is completely dry and you don't have an option to change your cheese. This ruined my daughter's dinner. My poke is very bland. It lacks flavor it's like eating fish with no taste considering this is a seafood restaurant. Their calamari is good though light batter not hiding the squid. The lobster tail is okay but it's a little overcooked. read more

This is a great spot for happy hour during the summer. Their partially covered patio area is really nice. It's a shaded area with fans and the breeze is nice. Pork belly bao buns were delicious. The pickles were yummy and would have asked for more. Their mocktail coconut pineapple drink was refreshing but doesn't look as nice when not mixed. The ingredients separate and look unappetizing when not stirred often. Our server Joe was great and was patient with our large party. read more

Always a great time at Pacific Catch. This specific branch is located near Trader Joe's and Marshall's so it was a perfect afternoon snack spot after doing a little shopping. We ordered the pupu platter which consisted of a couple of shrimps, some veg, and guac and chips. I thought it was the perfect combination of food that satisfies my afternoon craving for something fresh and filling. Not too heavy, and a good amount portion wise. Presentation was good, service was excellent and attentive, and the ambiance was very chill and relaxing. It was 90 degrees on this day so we sat inside, but there's a nice outdoor patio area that gives you access to some views and a good breeze. Excellent experience and I will be back read more

We live about a mile from the Pruneyard, so we find ourselves coming here a lot more than I expected after my first visit. There's a lot to do in this area and this is one of the only seafood options as far as I'm aware, so it quickly became a default spot for us after a movie. The food itself is pretty good, although it's unlikely anything will be the best you ever had. The fish is consistent but never super amazingly fresh and I'll admit that many of the dishes kind of have that conveyor belt feel. Kind of like it's being pumped out of a factory, the result is very consistent but can feel a little bit soulless. That might be a dramatic way to put it, but if you've ever eaten at a high price point chain like this one you probably know what I'm talking about. That's really the thing that stops me from loving this place too, everything is very expensive. You're paying the prices of a more upscale meal but getting something that feels like it falls just short of that. If this seems negative, just know that I do still come here a lot. I enjoy the food, the location is great, and there are quite a bit of options. It feels very clean-cut and the quality, service, and offerings are very consistent. If you happen to try a dish here that you really love, just know that you'll be able to come back time and time again and each time the dish that's delivered to you will be exactly as you remember it. read more

Pacific Catch is tucked in the corner of Pruneyard. There is a nice outdoor seating area where you can enjoy with friends and family. We wanted to sit by the window but unfortunately they required more guests in order to be seated. It was near closing and no one sat at the area. I had Alaskan Cod with chili like fries and beans. I also ordered a side of wakame seaweed salad, my personal favorite. I had asked for ketchup but it seems that was forgotten, so I had to take ketchup on my own. The fries were fantastic. I think the Alaskan Cod could be better. It felt a bit cold and I should have requested it to be well done. The server was nice to make changes to my order as requested. I think wakame seaweed salad should be added as a replacement for the side. They're fantastic but I don't see them on the menu! read more

I kept going back and forth between a 3 and a 4 to rate this meal, but the more I think about it, the food was better than I expected so I'm giving it a 4. Went here with friends on a whim. We initially tried calling 2 other places that were full for the night so we ended up going here instead. On a Saturday night, there were a lot of people dining here, but also a lot of tables still available. It's a pretty big restaurant compared to other places in the pruneyard. I don't love how they give you water with no ice in small cups. I like big water cups with lots of ice. I ordered a soda water with lime and to my disappointment, this also came in a carafe with no ice and an additional small cup. I would've asked the server for a big cup of ice, but it seemed like everything was difficult for him so I didn't want to burden him with an unnecessary request. One of my friends remarked that as a seafood restaurant, it seemed odd that they didn't have anything on the menu where shrimp was the star. Yes they have shrimp tacos but I mean something more protein forward. He wanted something like a shrimp sampler which they don't offer. They also had seemingly random menu items like a Korean bbq platter that had nothing to do with the rest of the menu, which felt very weird. Aside from those complaints, everything was pretty good. Food took an appropriate amount of time to come out. Our orders were correct, and everything tasted pretty good. I got one shrimp taco and one fish taco. My first thought after taking a bite was wow this is too heavy on the cabbage like they're trying to skimp on protein. But when I actually ate it all together it was well balanced, and most of the sauces were in the cabbage which worked really nicely. It came with black beans topped with cotija which were quite tasty, and I chose chips & salsa for a side. I hate when salsa means pico and a place doesn't specify that, so I didn't really touch the salsa and just dipped my chips in the beans. Chips were better than store bought which was impressive for an American seafood restaurant. Total was about $120 for 3 people. Overall a good experience, but I probably wouldn't choose this place again when there are so many excellent options nearby, unless I'm in a similar situation trying to go out last minute on a weekend and other places are fully booked. read more

The food is delish, the decor is cute inside, our hostest and server were super prompt and nice. My fav was the clam chowder and Alaskan cod. The fish and chips mixed plate is like a big appetizer and it did come in first w our salad app. The clam chowder was piping hot and even though the little toasts had black burnt parts on the bottom side, it wasn't an issue (taste-wise). I 100% want to come back during their Happy Hour (M-F 3-6) & try more foods. However, a weird thing happened where my mom asked the person who brought tables food for an extra bowl (to split the salad we ordered) and he said that'll cost extra. My mom was so confused and just wanted an extra dish really. She explained herself and he's like yes it costs extra. I told her don't worry about it. Then seconds after, our waiter brought us the remainder of our meal with a spare plate (without us asking). So uhh idk I just felt like it was rude of him or the business (but most likely the guy). He could of just said ask your server or at least not be weird/cold to my mom about it. Idk maybe they really do charge extra for random things like that but the server was really good about us & I didn't see an extra plate charge. *eye roll* read more

What a nice place! It was my first time here, and I have to say, I was really impressed. The food is fantastic! My friend and I decided to try the fresh Canadian oysters, and we were not disappointed--they were absolutely delicious. I ordered the Arctic salmon with Hawaiian sea salt, along with Brussels sprouts and broccolini. My friend had the Latin Chimichurri grilled Kanpachi yellowtail, and both dishes were excellent. The service was also good. Although it was a very hot day, we chose to sit outside with our dog, so I can't speak to the experience inside. A special thank you to the amazing chimichurri sauce that came with our dish--it was outstanding! read more

I love Pacific Catch. It's the only restaurant that we return to on a regular basis. There's just too many amazing restaurants to discover in the Bay Area! But Pacific Catch is my go-to favorite. The cocktails are always on-point. They are strong and even during happy hour, they don't skimp on the alcohol like a lot of restaurants do. The coconut shrimp is always our favorite when it comes to the starters. Can't go wrong with it. Service is always amazing. Giving a special shout out to Marina because she is awesome! Ask for her next time you're here. We are always happy with the food here. Today we wanted to check out the ramen. I will say it was about what we were expecting from a seafood place. I got the creamy miso with salmon and it was pretty good. But I was disappointed with the noodles. Most ramen places use thicker noodles instead of the rice noodles Pacific Catch used. I love you Pacific Catch but you know we have amazing ramen shops around here. I would skip the ramen and go with what you know. You know we'll be back! Thanks for being so consistent. read more

Ordered online through the app and it took longer than expected. This place has a nice outdoor patio area and seemed pretty crowded as it was during lunch time. They do have some happy hour deals that many have raved about. As for the rolls, pretty fresh and tasty. Great option if you're looking for pescatarians/vegetarian options. They have a lot of options as far as rolls, bowls, and main dishes. Wide variety of locations through the bay as well. I've dined a couple of times here and service could be slow depending on how busy they are. I am not a seafood eater, so I thought I would not enjoy Pacific catch. I was wrong! I order a chicken teriyaki bowl whenever we go there to eat. It's yummy! I am not a big fan of their service style; it feels almost like a quick service restaurant. However, they seem to be mastering it and it is feeling less clunky lately. Food is consistent. And good.
