The food is good and it's packaged fine. Only problem? Last two orders have left out 2 out of 3 of my components. I think it's because they've changed how they write out their receipts. They put taco meal: tacos and then don't include the sides. So you pay for it, but never receive it. The tacos are supposed to come with chips and beans and instead you just get the tacos. Not worth it. read more

I love Pacific Catch, but man do I hate this location-- only because of how crowded it is and parking sucks. Otherwise, the food is great! I like that they have a wide selection of food. It's great for a team lunch since it pretty has has something for everybody. My go-to dishes are the ceviche and poke appetizers. The fish tacos aren't bad, but I prefer their plates (salmon with misoyaki broccolini) or their sashimi bowl. Delicious! read more

My goodness!! It was our first time and we had the pleasure of having Gabby serve us. We arrived around 4:30 and the place was surprisingly busy! We sat quickly and got greeted by Gabby. She explained the menu and gave us a chance to order from the happy hour menu if we wanted as it ended at 5pm She was so helpful, quick, and kind. We ordered two fish dishes and one sushi dish and it was delicious!! We added skirt steak to one of the dishes and it was definitely the best choice!! read more

I love Pacific Catch! My favorite dishes are: - the salmon lover roll (salmon to rice ratio is perfect. Packs a great bite) -steak tacos (it's a seafood place, but the steak is still fire! The aioli and jalapeños are a perfect compliment) -hot fish tacos (seasonal) -hot fish burger (seasonal) -the poke trio (Serrano ahi poke is the best!) -miso side salad (such a hearty and nutritious salad) -arctic salmon (try with Hawaiian salt and get the mashed potatoes with crab added) -CA roll (has hand picked crab!) -Korean Bbq steak (skirt steak with the kimchee fried rice is amazing!) The only downside to this location is the parking, because it is in the Pruneyard Shopping center. Service is always great and ambiance wise they just remodeled this location. Plenty of seating inside and outside in the patio. read more

This place has gone even further downhill. The salmon recipe may have changed. The last three times I've ordered it, it was beyond dry. The Cajun fries and sauce have something different about them too - they started put WAY too much seasoning on them, but also something about the sauce is off. Then today I ordered the cheeseburger but asked for the bun to be packaged separately so it doesn't get soggy on the drive. Did they get that right? Of course not. I'm officially giving up. read more

My friend and I had a blast here! Everything went well from the service, ordering process, the ambience to the freshness of the food and fantastic drink and dessert! This Pacific Catch location is conveniently located in the Pruneyard, next to Marshall and on the Trader Joe's side of the plaza. Parking was reasonably available. We went there on a Monday night at 7pm and the place was pleasantly not crowded at all. We loved that we were greeted warmly and then seated promptly at one of the most beautiful places in the restaurant - in the heated patio and next to the cool blue-light "fireplace". But honestly everywhere in this restaurant is pretty! I love the vaulted ceiling with statement rattan lights hanging off it. Our server Zach was attentive yet gave us some space and time. He also gave us some suggestions on which drinks to order, which we appreciated. We went for Spicy Pacific and Mango Daiquiri for drinks! They're phenomenal ! For the main dishes, we opted for the Trio Sampler, which had original ahi tuna poke, Serrano ahi poke and Baja shrimp poke, and the West Coast style salmon. We dived into our food as soon as they came out. The dishes were aesthetically presented. All the ingredients tasted so fresh and healthy. We were surprised to find the brown quinoa rice (which came with the grilled salmon dish) were soft and flavorful. The salmon was delicious with the right amount of moisture and flavorings. The Trio Sampler also held a candle to the grilled salmon dish. We couldn't decide which poke we loved the best as we finished them all LOL Zach was smart to present the dessert menu to us in the middle of our meal so we knew to pace ourselves. After not much of the debate, my friend and I picked the Hula Brownie Sundae, which was another highlight of the night. The brownie was moist and had that night balance of bitterness of chocolate and sweetness from the cake. We loved how the coconut shreds and macadamia nuts complemented each other nicely and made the entire dessert an epic. Overall, we were very satisfied with our meals and the experience. We'll definitely come back soon! read more

Updating my review. I used to order frequently but the food has gone downhill. This is the second time in a row where I've ordered delivery and they forgotten chips , salsa or some other side dish that came with the meal. I actually order through their platform too. Their portions have gotten a lot smaller and with them forgetting side dishes, I will not be coming back. Also the tuna I ordered tasted funky. Avoid. read more

Tried Pacific Catch for the first time after frequenting the Pruneyard for decades. Happened to stumble upon it during happy hour which was nice. The happy hour pricing was decent, along with the selection of food and drinks to choose from. I tried their version of an old fashion, it was ok. The chips and guacamole were good. The crispy shrimp tacos were great. The California roll and fried calamari were both ok. I'd come back again and try. Different drink and stick with the tacos and guac! read more

My fam had been going to Pacific Catch for years and have been at various locations. The restaurants are clean. The service is typically good. We have tried numerous items on the menu from the fries calamari, sushi rolls, fish and chips, sticky ribs, poki, and lobster roll just to name a few. I have to say we are disappointed how the quality of the lobster roll has declined. The size has gotten smaller with inflation of $32.50 and now the quality of the lobster declined. My husband took the kids to this location a month ago and mentioned to me the lobster meat was rubbery. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and tried it for myself and also disappointed. The lobster was over cooked. The fries were also overcooked and old. That was not the first time either. Find something else to eat when there. The fried fish and the tempura roll was spot on as usual, however we will no longer order the lobster roll. Also note they now automatically include a 3% surcharge on your bill. Pacific Catch is a seafood lover's dream come true. While this location gets exceptionally busy during the dinnertime rush, I assure you it is definitely worth the wait. There is a TON of variety in the menu for food and drinks alike. Everything comes out fresh and jam packed with flavor in every morsel. Stopped in with my boyfriend and my mom and we all had an excellent experience. Drinks were strong yet flavorful and food was served piping hot. You can taste the freshness in every ingredient and we ate every bite! On a side note, it's really awesome that for a hustlin' and busslin' seafood place, it doesn't even smell fishy! (Major plus, in my book). I only have two small gripes with this place. One, is that when the bill came, there were a few mistakes in pricing on it--Always be sure to check your bill if you took part in happy hour pricing and check to see if you are double charged for anything! Secondly, my boyfriend was missing a part of his order for quite some time before we were able to flag down our server and retrieve it. All in all, each problem had a fairly efficient and effective solution. I look forward to coming back in the not so distant future to try out more menu items. read more

Even though we went for happy hour, I wouldn't go back. I got a nonalcoholic piña colada and we also ordered an alcoholic one. They were both decent, but the food was pretty average at best. There was a sampler platter, everything was over sauced with teriyaki and just fishy. I'm sorry I was just really not impressed. I used to go to the one in San Mateo and it was so good so was pretty disappointed when it was all pretty mediocre. read more

I keep reviewing this place because i think that in this economy when a place continues to give excellent service and stellar food it should be recognized! On Sunday we had a family photoshoot with my sister and her twins after the photoshoot we decided to go to dinner. My kids requested ( as they always do) Pacific Catch. So our party of 8 ( 4 adults and 2 sets of twins! ) arrived and we were sat almost immediately which is impressive for a Sunday night! Our amazing waiter ( i forgot his name but ive seen him before and we were sat on the patio) brought us drinks and even got the boys blood orange lemonade which they loved. The boys always get the chicken teriyaki bowls which they devour. The sushi is to die for ! Love it. The drinks are fabulous i could drink the shark fin any day of the week. And if you join their rewards program you get options of what you want off your bill. It will come as no surprise that we will be back very soon. I've been here a few times now specifically for happy hour, and every time it's a great experience! Their happy hour is M-F from 3-6, which is perfect for catching the beginning of Thursday night football or even MLB. It's never too crowded and service is always efficient and friendly. They also just recently remodeled so the interior is fresh and more similar to the Palo Alto location now. I LOVE the crispy cod fish taco on their happy hour menu ($6.50)- it's a decent sized portion with some chips on the size. That combined with a 16 oz beer ($5.50- $6.50 on happy hour) makes for a filling and affordable HH. read more

Great Sunday lunch. This place is on the pricey side but great for a special occasion lunch. We dined on the closed patio which was nice and cool with no direct sun hitting you. Ordered the Nojito(non-alcoholic mojito) and the latin kanpachi bowl and thought it was delicious. The sauces is what made the meal. We also shared the chili lime fries that reminded me of a cajun seasoning, I didn't get any lime flavor. Others in my group ordered other bowls that I tried and wasn't a big fan of. Imo the japanese wasabi bowl had too strong of a sesame oil taste. Service was good, parking is a huge issue. The Pruneyard is a busy place all days of the week so getting parking right out front is difficult. So be ready to walk a little. read more

Yummy food! Fresh & flavorful! The lobster hand roll was incredibly delicious. Despite its size, it was my favorite thing we ordered. I ate some of it with ginger, which overpowered the lobster flavor, so be careful with how much you add to it. The Mexican bowl was incredible. It was just a touch spicy, & I have pretty low tolerance, but it really was not that bad. It was big & very filling, & the shrimp was VERY good. Cooked well. The salmon roll was good! Nothing to make it stand out, but it was a decent sushi roll. Ambiance: The restaurant is big & we sat on the patio, which offers a nice covered outdoor seating option. It's a clean & well decorated space, but casual at the same time. Service: All good! The place was busy & our server didn't check in with us too often, but it wasn't enough to be noticeable or bothersome. read more

I came here for a birthday lunch and it was such a great experience. Our server was super funny and kept checking in on us. He even split our salmon entree into two bowls since he overheard we were planning on sharing. The ingredients tasted really fresh, and I definitely recommend the poke trio sampler. Nice place to get an early dinner. I stopped by around 5 pm yesterday (Thursday) to dine with a work colleague who was visiting from the east coast for a conference. We sat on the outdoor patio, where it was shady yet bright, and we could have a business conversation at a normal volume. He ordered a Kanpachi yellowtail from the regular menu to his usual exacting specifications (no salt) and I opted for the poke and ceviche trio ($19.95 on the happy hour menu). Our food arrived quickly. I had their classic yellowtail ceviche and two pokes (original ahi and Serrano ahi) - both yellowfin tuna prepared differently, and both heavenly! Service from Aliyah was great exceptional. Parking was very tight and likely impossible later in the evening. Bathrooms were clean. Will be back! read more

Great food, great service. If I lived in the area I would definitely frequent the place. We made a reservation because we were a party of ten on a Friday, and based on how busy it was I would say to make one before visiting on a weekend. Most of us ordered off the sushi bowl list on the menu and there were only raves. The portion is definitely appropriate given the price because they were absolutely huge bowls and I absolutely devoured every last bite. What really cemented our experience was our server Marcus. He offered great recommendations for drinks and food. There was also a level of care he demonstrated for our larger party and a strong attention to detail, like when one of our party was missing food when the rest arrived. He was welcoming and definitely made the night memorable. read more

I placed a mobile pickup order and did not receive a text message when my order was ready. After waiting 45 minutes for a confirmation, I called the store. They answered and informed me that my order had been ready for pickup for some time. I responded that I never received a text message. I was then forwarded to the manager, Raymond Kirk. He claimed that a text had been sent, so I asked him to resend it to confirm there was no issue with my number. He refused, stating that the system only allows one text confirmation. I then requested a refund, but Raymond immediately hung up without confirming whether the refund had been processed. I had to call again to verify the refund. Shortly after, Raymond sent a text with a photo of my voided receipt just to get the last word. I thought the system did not allow resending texts, so I'm confused as to how Raymond was able to send me a confirmation photo back so immediately for my refund. read more

The new remodeled restaurant is a big improvement as the decor is brighter and better organized. We were seated very quickly and the service was efficient though not the most talkative or social. The issue is the food. While the crispy cod taco was good, everything else was lacking. The steak taco was tasteless and somewhat chewy. They forgot to make it spicy. The chips were stale but the salsa was decent. In the west coast salmon bowl, the brown rice was very undercooked and the salmon was dry and overcooked. We went to Pacific Catch with some friends. On this particular day, parking was good, which was surprising. Services is great and my food was delicious. I had the sticky ribs and the mashed potatoes. Everyone else enjoyed their food as well. The only reason I'm not giving it four stars is the value. The prices are high for the amount of food you receive. The quality is good, but the value isn't quite there for us to come here very often. For what I paid for my appetizer of ribs and side of mashed potatoes and cocktail I probably could've gone to a nicer restaurant. That being said, this is a good place to come with a group since they accommodate separate checks. read more

We are back and brought bf's mom again since she loves it here!!! Ordered kampachi yellowtail with black rice and corn without cheese. I sent it back because it was bland and flavorless. It's kind of cafeteria-esque and reminded me of the Souplantation. It desperately needs to be updated. After a very long day of pampering we needed to get dinner before heading home. We found Pacific Catch on Yelp and I could not believe I had never tried them before. When we walked in, on a late Saturday night, we were immediately sat in the bar area. We didn't mind a booth with space. Since we had never been we took our time looking over the menu but the server and bartender made sure to check on us and bring us waters. We ended up ordering 3 entrees. I ordered the Trio Ceviche/Poke mix and match. If you've ever seen Guys Grocery games the judges love to say "I would bathe in this sauce" THATS how I felt with these ceviches. Yes, they were that good. I picked the yellowtail ceviche and 2 Baja shrimp ceviche. The plate came with delicious chips and fried wontons. 10/10! My MIL ordered the Mixed Catch which she loved. You can never find a good fried fish that doesn't have thick batter but PC knows what they're doing. Everything was seasoned well and fried to perfection. My friend ordered the Mexican grill Bowl and let me tell you it looked amazing. Most restaurants when you order the food it does not look like what they had on the menu obviously bc of lighting etc but PC food looked like they pulled it straight from the menu. Her bowl was so much food that I regretted for a second ordering what I ordered. She shared a bit and it was DELICIOUS. Overall the service and food were 10/10! Can't wait to go back again. After an early morning round of golf, my friend and I decided to get some lunch at Pacific Catch. It was definitely a very hot day and I was able to find parking under a tree. The restaurant itself was quite modern looking and my friend said they seem to have recently renovated the interior. I arrived just before the lunch crowd and there was ample seating indoor as well as in the patio area. By the time I finished my meal, the restaurant was quite full. Service was prompt and professional and they brought out our waters very quickly. I decided to try out the Ahi Chirashi Bowl while my friend orders the Hawaiian Pork Belly and Korean Chicken from the Street Food Summer menu. All orders arrived within 10 minutes. I did enjoy the Chirashi bowl which was chock full of fresh ingredients and very tasty. My friend enjoyed the Pork Belly the most. I'm usually a huge fan of the consistency of Pacific Catch but my most recent experience was not super pleasing. -2 stars The chips were very scarce in a guacamole & chips side, that was 12.95! The bowls were both good and portioned well but a bit sad on the poke side. Service was quick & kind but given the portions of the takeout I'm going to rate it lower than my usual :( I have been here in person, the ambiance and food portions were more reasonable. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with wonderful service! Smiles and a warm welcoming from the front check-in desk. When the waiter arrived we were greeted (also was super friendly) and had table water set and ready to go! A+++ Overall, the service from everyone was pleasantly warm and welcoming. Even when arriving with our dishes, they made sure everyone received their food at the same time. The ambiance was clean, colorful, and bright! The decor wasn't overbearing, just the right amount to "catch" your eyes and enjoy the establishments theme. Even the crowd around our table was pleasant. It wasn't too busy but a good amount of folks. Overall, it was pleasantly catchy to the eyes. NOW the food: I had the Spicy Green Curry Salmon, the THINLY sliced vegetables was very delicious and delightful! I enjoyed how thin it was. The green curry overall flavor was deliciously blended with the nicely cooked salmon. The white rice, seemed like a sticky rice not so much steamed. So if you like the texture of a sticky rice, then this would be your style! Overall my dish was scrumptious. My sister, she had the Mixed Catch: I only can say the seasoned chile-lime fries was the right amount of crispy crunch, and the flavor wasn't overbearing. I wouldn't mind if there was a bit more extra seasoning, but that's just me. Then I had some of her Crispy Calamari, now that was my cup of tea. I do highly recommend this dish, if you can't decide and want to try a sampler of what they have to offer; and feel like some good fried seafood! Overall, from what I tried, I would order it to try the Cod and the Shrimp because I am curious about it. Overall, the visit was deliciously, delightful and diverting experience. read more
