Pacific Catch is one of my favorites and the ambience of the restaurant makes you feel like you're at the beach. It's usually my go-to location whenever friends want to go out to eat together. Everyone is usually pretty happy and satisfied in the end. Food is fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Portions are also very filling. I love ordering the bowls and tacos, and I especially recommend the tacos because you can mix and match the type of fish. The fish in the tacos are very crispy and fresh. The salmon in the burger and bowl were both very tender, and so was the sea bass in the bowls I've ordered before. The only downside about this location is that parking can be a bit tough during lunchtime. read more

I ordered Cabo calamari, Thai Brussels sprouts, bbq pork skewers, and katsu musubi roll to-go. My favorites were the katsu musubi roll and bbq pork skewers! The chicken katsu was nicely fried - crispy on the outside but still juicy on the inside. The pineapple in the katsu musubi roll pairs well with the chicken katsu and gives it a refreshing sweet and tangy bite! The bbq pork skewers had a sweet glaze to it that made it really tasty and the glaze wasn't too thick or anything; it added a nice flavor to the skewers! The skewers came with a side of macaroni salad was a solid, decent side dish to accompany the skewers. It was a creamy side that complemented the savory skewers well! The Cabo calamari was okay. The calamari and the batter were not seasoned, or if they were, it wasn't noticeable at all. The calamari came with an orange dipping sauce so perhaps that's where the seasoning is supposed to come through, but I like it when my calamari is seasoned and can hold its own without having to rely on a dipping sauce. The dipping sauce was also lackluster and didn't add much to the dish. The Thai brussel sprouts were also whatever. Nothing memorable and a few leaves were burnt. The brussel sprouts I make at home are definitely better. Overall, I would definitely reorder the katsu musubi roll and bbq pork skewers again but not the others. read more

My girlfriend and I initially stopped in for oysters, but unfortunately, they were pulled from their menu due to reasons beyond their control. No worries, we ended up ordering a bunch of other finger foods along with a couple of drinks at the bar. The bartender was awesome and super friendly. We ended up sparking a conversation with him and overall had a good time. This is a great spot for lunch and their drinks menu often changes which is nice. I headed to The Pruneyard with high hopes of a delicious lunch & an excuse to get my toddler out and about. After 2 other attempts at neighboring eateries, I'm so glad we went with Pacific Catch. First things first, PC had dining indoor and out. There are hand sanitizer bottles placed at each table and the entire staff was masked. Covid protocols are definitely followed here and it was great greatly appreciated since I tote around my little mini. The menu offerings are pretty extensive and our party found it quite hard to decide on what to get since the menu sounded so good. Lunch ended up consisting of: -Poke & Ceviche Trio [serrano ahi poke, original, & shrimp ceviche] -Korean Sticky Ribs -Skirt Steak Korean BBQ -Wagyu Cheeseburger -Hawaiian Teriyaki Chicken Food: -The poke & ceviche trio was amazing, skimpy portions but most definitely AMAZING. Seafood was fresh, flavoring was right, and the tortilla/wonton chips combo was nice. -Korean sticky ribs were an absolute FAIL. These things were fall off the bone but horrendously salty. So salty I couldn't even manage to power through. The so-called spicy cucumber banchan was flavorless and only added to the failures of this dish. -Skirt steak Korean BBQ didn't look like much but was cooked well to our liking and thankfully tasted better than the ribs even though I assume they share the same sauce. The kimchi fried rice was good and the yolk-y egg added a nice creaminess factor. -Wagyu cheeseburger was the best entree of the entire meal. The burger is cooked medium by default, leaving a nice pink center that was deliciously juicy. The picked veggies added an unexpected but well enjoyed flavor. The only complaint for this is the bland sesame slaw. Do yourself a favor and shell out the extra 3 bucks for the sweet potato fries, your welcome in advanced. -Teriyaki Chicken looked extremely plentiful. Veggies were piled on high but consisted primarily of carrots. It would have been nice to get more of a serving when it came to the broccoli and/or mushroom instead. The teriyaki sauce was delicious and the sushi rice used was soft enough for babygirl to manage. Chicken was a letdown due to the overcooked dryness- not recommended! 3.5 stars but I'll round it up to 4. I will happily come back for good eats and great service. Always solid drinks and food at this Pacific Catch. Such a fun date night atmosphere too. We have been coming to this location for years and are never disappointed. Service is very friendly and the new outside patio partitions set such a fun Hawaiian vibe since they are bamboo. The heaters also add nice mood lighting. My husband had the guava margarita and I had the jalarita (jalapeño margarita). We both loved our drinks! Mine definitely had a kick though, so I would only order if you like a strong spice. We always order the guacapoke and it's such great quality fish. We actually prefer the thin wonton chips as opposed to the thick ones that this app comes with... so next time we are going to request a substitution on that. The food is tasty and saucy. Plates look fresh and healthy and colorful. Server even offered us extra sauce but we didn't need it. He customized our drinks which we appreciated. I am hoping we just experienced a waitress in training. We dined on the night after Halloween. For the amount of cars in the parking lot, the restaurant was quite empty. Ordering was fine but after that, our waitress became almost nonexistent. A sushi appetizer came and we waited 5 minutes for someone to bring some soy sauce. Finally I got up and got myself. After the food arrived, we were out of water and needed more drinks. Tried to get someone's attention. Again, had to get up and get our waitresses attention to get more drinks. We did not receive more water as requested. When the drinks arrived she finally asked how things were and if we needed anything else, 3 out of 4 of were already done eating.... We made reservations online and put Birthday as occasion for coming. Two gifts were on the table but selecting occasion means nothing here. Being it was my Birthday, I did not care. All the components of the dish (salmon, rice, curry sauce, salad, eggplant, squash, cucumber) complimented each other and tasted really refreshing even though the base had rice. Salmon was slightly dry, but still good. I could definitely taste the difference between mine and my bf's, which was more moist and fatty. Salmon with Thai Brussel Sprouts and Broccolini: Salmon was tender, flaky, flavorful, and didn't have that fishy smell/taste. Brussel sprouts were goood. How roasted vegetables should all taste like!!! Skip the broccolini. It looked like it was just steamed or blanched, and tasted really bland. The serving size was also pretty small for the price, but I guess the quality of the salmon makes up for both the price and portion. The food was so delicious and packaged so well that I just had to leave a review! This was our first time here. They have a nice, varied menu with an Asian influence. I ordered a side of Thai Brussels sprouts (which were great), and the lobster roll. Husband had the Ahi sandwich. Both sandwiches came with excellent coleslaw and choice of fries or salad. Presentation is oddly rustic considering the menu is on the pricey side. The Ahi sandwich was good, but a bit small. My lobster roll looked bigger at first glance, but they were chintzy with the lobster topping. I'd rather they had used a smaller roll so the lobster covered the entire thing. Service was fine except for the server spilling my husband's beer on the table. My coworker and I couldn't wait 'til Friday, so after a long hard day on a Tuesday we went straight to Pacific Catch. Unfortunately we were there around 3:30ish and HH didn't start 'til 4pm. But, hey, that didn't stop us! We started with the crispylicious Thai Coconut Shrimp, even more delicious when dipped in the sweet chili sauce. We also had the Sesame-Seared Ahi Tuna drenched in some kind of sauce that, surprisingly, didn't bother me much. I still liked it, even though the freshness of tuna was hidden in that light sauce. I wanted something light and refreshing to drink, and Yuzu Drop hit the spot! I liked the combination of Vodka and lemon, plus the salt on the rim made me giddy.. or, maybe it was the alcohol?!? When HH started, the Trio Sampler was fun, but the poke and ceviche was drowned in so much liquid that it was difficult to say how fresh was the seafood? But I still liked the trio with the chips. The Serrano Ahi Poke was good, but slightly spicy. I liked the Salmon Avocado Poke better, not spicy and had a hint of lemon. The Baja Shrimp Ceviche was alright, but I wouldn't order again. Overall, the food is above average. I'll definitely add Pacific Catch to my list off HH places to go to after long, crazy days. Whoa. I just realized Happy Hour is part of my healing process! According to Eckhart Tolle, "To recognize one's own insanity, is of course, the arising of sanity, the beginning of healing and transcendence." My students should thank Happ Hour! I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl. It was very good and I throughly enjoyed it. I would say it was a decent size. I had the ribs as an appetizer and I thought they were really tasty. They were cooked exceptionally well but the sauce is a little different from what I expected. It was more savory than sweet but still very enjoyable. The service was also fine. Mother's Day dinner review! I ordered via doordash, it looks like they didn't have every single item available as they do online on their menu but I've seen that happen at many other restaurants. We ordered the Baja shrimp ceviche- WOW this was the crowd (3 ppl) pleaser! It's so delicious, fresh and citrusy. I personally am not sure if it's worth the $14 tag but it was definitely memorable. I ordered the taco platter, I tried both shrimp options and the salmon. While all of it was very tasty I have to say the shrimp tacos were absolutely above the salmon one in flavor and texture. Also the sauce they use in the shrimp tacos? I may need to find that recipe because WOW I can't stop thinking about it we also ordered the mixed catch platter - soooo good and a nice taste of what's on their seafood side of the menu. I got my mother the Guajillo shrimp taco a la carte (X3) and she said they were delicious! We ordered the kids chicken strip meals for my kids, they looked very tasty! We also got the Thai Brussels and you HAVE to try them! They definitely have that 'healthy veggie' taste but with a distinct sweet aftertaste that is just amazing. They don't skimp on the size of fish or calamari here. I like that they don't over season the seafood so you can taste how fresh it is. The portions are also huge too! My favorites from the platter were the musubi and the sticky ribs. The sticky ribs were perfectly seasoned while the Katsu was perfectly crispy!Not pictured was a kids salmon teriyaki bowl (w/ teriyaki sauce on the side) for my dog. The portion for the kids bowl was huge! The bowl fed my medium sized dog for 3 meals! The ceviche and the tostada were pretty good too. They were double fried hard dark. The scallop cheviche was ok, but the blue chips were stale. I ordered the salmon burger. The fish was not fresh. The bun was stale. My side salad was wilted. It came with very runny waterree misu sauce. They have the nerve to put jarred mushrooms on salad. MUSHROOM FROM A JAR! I also ordered a cocktail. I wanted a mi tie, I don't know what cheap alcohol they served. But that was NOT a mi tie. SERVICE.... SUCKED! The young boy who was our servicer. NEVER stopped at our table to offer us anything after our orders were taken. My husband had to go get him durning our dinner to ask for condiments to mask the taste of the food. They don't have salt and pepper on the tables. They need every condiment known to mankind on the table in order to flavor. This place is a nasty shit show. The pupu platter was is a fun order -- it has a sampling of a variety of things like sushi tostadas, fried chicken musubi, and glazed ribs. The fish tacos were huge and really good. We got the baja (fried cod with slaw) and grilled seabass. My complaint here is that our fries were really bad. Not fresh (chewy and cold??). We also got a a California roll, which has handpicked crab, avocado and cucumber. Again the ingredients were fresh. But as someone who likes really good sushi, the rice for it wasn't quite right (I think they used like regular and not sushi rice and it lacked some seasoning).
