I really love their General Tso's chicken and their Oreo pie -- both are definitely highlights. The price is reasonable at $18.99 for an adult dinner, and it's an all-you-can-eat buffet. The food is mostly Chinese, but they also have a sushi station and a few American options like mac and cheese and pizza. It gets extremely busy on Thursday nights, and the entrance can feel chaotic. There are always people sitting and standing around, and it's hard to tell who's waiting to be seated versus who's already checked in with the hostess. Since it's a buffet, there are a mix of tables and booths, and you serve yourself. The staff does come around to refill drinks and clear plates, but the overall vibe is more casual and hectic than cozy -- definitely not the place for a romantic night out, but good if you're hungry and want a lot of options. For years Pacific was my favorite buffet. I raved about the great food that this place produced. Years later(4+) I was in the area and finally decided to go back! Outside looked the same so I was excited to enter for lunch. Well the food went from great to good. Tried as much as I could without overeating or wasting food.. there were great items like the fried fish, bok choy, grilked chicken&onions and sweet potatoes but there were also bland tasteless items like the broccoli and 1 of the beefs. There were 2 beef dishes, a pot roast and a Roasted beef. 1 was seasoned and the other was dry and blah but can't remember which was which. Mac and cheese was intriguing, it was the creamiest that I've ever had but also the most tasteless; literally tasted of nothing, not even cheese. Good to see the sushi and sashimi was still on point. Didn't try the habachi/grill. But fresh cooked food is always good. While i don't know if this last one was an off visit or if the quality really declined, I still say this is one of the better buffets that are still around. We arrived midday on a Sunday and the place was very busy but still had plenty of seating. We were a group of 5 coming for an early dinner. The service was fast and we received our drinks in a timely manner. The buffet had so many choices from a wonderful salad bar to various types of sushi. The chicken dishes were hot and delicious. There was also fish, spare ribs and many, many other types of foods, too numerous to name. Also plenty of choices for children. I loved the warm sesame balls but my daughter said she noticed they were running out. By the time I went back to the buffet, there was another whole bunch of warm sesame balls. Walking in we were immediately greeted and given a choice of booth or table which I was actually happy about, My Fiance is on the heavy side and we prefer tables. Now to get to the food my other half hates when I take pictures of his food so I will explain his food first that I tasted which he pushed aside and what he loved... The Crab Rangoon was over powered by chives I believe but the dough was perfect, the ribs was shameful. It tasted like it was deep fried with the chicken and tasted horribly it was chicken ribs if that makes sense. The Corn he ate all of it went back for more was fresh, Carrots was fresh, broccoli was good but it should of been cut up so it wouldn't be so chunky. Now my food the sweet and Sour chicken was sad it was over cooked, the pancakes were just yuck, the bacon was just rubbery they could of cooked it to crispy or in the middle would of been fine. The desserts were pretty delicious though. The place was packed though, the ambiance of the place was nice that's all I can say. I will try this place one more time, there was a few not too good and a few I haven't had a chance to try I got full, so another time to give another chance. We went for lunch on a Sunday and even though it was very busy we were accommodated quickly. This is a pretty large restaurant, so it can accommodate large groups. Pacific buffet and Grill is a quintessential solid Chinese buffet. There are a lot of great options to be able to choose from. The crab Rangoon's are always a crowd favorite. There's an American section to accommodate the picky eaters among your group. The waitstaff was pretty attentive for it being busy, but we didn't get our plates cleared at all while we were there, which is something that usually happens. Again, it was really busy. I can't give you a basis of comparison for how busy it is on a regular day since this was my first time . I really enjoyed the fresh sushi section. Literally got to watch it being made as it was being put on the plate. The options were constantly being turned over so the food was very fresh. Your typical Asian all you can eat Buffet. $20 on weekends $19 if you're a senior. The food is OK and you generally get what you pay for. This past time they appear to either not be turning up the temp enough or there is a problem with one of the steam table islands as some things were not as fresh and hot as they should be. So we had to keep an eye out for when they'd refresh the trays from the Kitchen in order to get hot fresh food. Nothing worse than not so hot and soggy Crab Rangoon that's been sitting a while. The Cold Green Beans were disappointing as well. But we managed to get our fill and as I said above we got what we paid for. read more

I've missed buffets ever since COVID but now it's considered to be safe to eat at them. This is the first buffet I have been to in a while other than Far East in Wethersfield. I'll be honest, this is my second time coming here and it looks like they did some studying while they were closed down for COVID. I was slightly impressed. They had plenty of options and the food was as I expected but some options blew me away. They had a shrimp alfredo and it honestly was some of the best Pasta I've had coming from a buffet that doesn't even focus on that type of food. The chicken curry was actually spicy and their sushi impressed the heck out of me. Buffet sushi always dissappoints me but this time, it was actually really good. The service was great as well. My waitress was over the top friendly I loved it. Other than that, absolutely solid buffet here. All the things I thought would taste okay, tasted great. Isn't that what we want from a buffet? There baaaack! And in a good way! My family and I went to dinner here tonight and were pleasantly surprised! The Buffet line was set up nicely, food was constantly being refreshed, everything in my plate was hot and the waitstaff was friendly! There are pump bottles of sanitizer right in the middle of the dining room on your way back to your table. That is a plus! We did take out during Covid and it was not very good. I went on a Sunday at noon and they had both breakfast food and lunch food available which was really great. Sometimes we sleep in and want breakfast food later than usual. This place is great for large groups, because there is something for everyone (yep, even a sad little glass case of pizza for the picky child that won't eat anything else). The lunch price is always a better deal, and we mostly focused on the sushi and some hot Chinese dishes. Overall the food is a bit on the saltier side, but I assume they are catering to their audience. Plenty of parking and seating, and worth a visit if you miss the buffet life. read more

Four of us went to celebrate two senior birthdays. One senior had a service dog. We were shown to our table, next thing we experience was a man coming to speak to us. Turned out the woman that would be tending to our table feared dogs. The man told us the 13 lb service dog can not sit on a chair. We didn't want him laying on floor where someone could trip over him. We were told we were not to feed the dog, as if a couple morsels of food from his humans plate would make the establishment go broke. Then the dog gave out a bit so loud woof and the man said the dog couldn't be in the establishment. People around us voices the dog did not bother them. Instead of having someone else clar our table, someone who does not fear dogs the man insisted the service dog can not stay. Our party of four simply got up and left and visited Asian Buffet up the street where the service dog was always welcomed in the past. I doubt we will ever go to Pacific Buffet and Grill any time in the future for their failure to accommodate a service dog as required by law. read more

They have unlimited soda at 1.99 and they also sell take home containers by the pound . Seating is plentiful with booth options available. They have seafood,steak and chicken to sushi and Chinese . Take a clean plate each time as they will whisk away your finished plate as soon as you look done with it. They sell beer and hot tea if you'd like. This place never disappoints always filling empty food sections with fresh batches fairly quickly.
