I was shopping around for a used trailer for my boat and had a hard time finding exactly what I wanted. I came here and Luis helped me find a trailer that was in great condition that would work for my boat. Where to start. ? October 2017 ordered a new trailer from Sam and asked for electric brakes.Then I ordered and installed electric brakes controller for 125.00 for my truck November 20th picked up the trailer in Newark and realized that the trailer only had hydraulic surge brakes. November 22 emailed Pacific trailer and asked why I didn't get my electric brakes and told Luis I had a bad experience with surge brakes and he said they were much improved since my last trailer with surge brakes he reassured me that they would be trouble free. Then I asked him to reimburse me for the brake controller and he said he would ask. To my surprise I had a check for the full amount of the controller in just a few days. I want to be very clear that Luis went above and beyond to help me and make sure I was happy. I then made sure to tell his boss Jeff how wonderful it was too have Luis helping me.. Now the other side of Pacific trailer which is why I am posting this mixed review. My brand new trailer was hit in the passenger side taillight on the 3rd outing as it sat in the parking lot of the marina so I ordered a passenger side taillight housing and to my surprise I received the driver's side taillight housing, but again Luis to the rescue I asked and received a new housing overnight. I again made sure to let Jeff the owner know how lucky he was to have Luis on his staff. The real kicker to this is his gal Debbie Remember I took possession of the trailer on November 20,2017 well today is 2/23/18 and I still don't have the registration and license plate and after 2 email responses to my question on ETA from Debbie both bodering rudeness with the first email from Debbie 2/7/18 and after blaming DMV for all my trouble and then telling me that she had contacted DMV and I would have my license plate in a week. That week has come and gone. Now it's 2/12/18 again I asked Debbie when I would see my license plate and registration I got a return email from Debbie now saying 2 more weeks.What the heck happened to the 1 week Debbie?? Did you finally get around to sending the paperwork to DMV yet?? Stop blaming DMV for everything and go to DMV yourself and pick up my license plate and registration and mail it to me.?? It's now 2/23/18 (today) and I just sent a email threatening to take other action against Pacific trailer if I don't have my license plate and registration in my mailbox tomorrow 2/24/18 Jeff you left me a voicemail message last week saying that you had an update regarding my license plate and registration and I emailed you saying that I didn't want any verbal message and to email me your update. I have not received that email update yet. Did you decide not to update me via email?? Please email me today with that update. I again reached out to Luis for that information just before I started this book like review. I see the reviews vary from one extreme to the other. I have had nothing but great experiences with Pacific Trailers!! Last year, Luis was a great help in replacing my tandem axle fenders, Luis & I discussed measurements & the correct replacements arrived about 10 days later, the lead time was because they had to be manufactured. Today I had a issue with a u bolts, we talked measurements & the u bolts will be in the mail tomorrow. I have found them to be very professional in all our dealings. read more

I needed a new UFP A-75 inner member slide for my boat trailer... and I needed it fast... since I was about to take a trip and my brakes on the trailer were not working.. I placed the order on line one evening and called first thing in the morning to follow-up. I spoke with Gabriel in parts... told him the urgency for getting it shipped that very day... I was reluctant about writing this negative review, but the latest development pushed me over the edge. The review is strictly focused on ordering parts from this company. On April 7th I ordered a brake line from their website. The automated system accepted my order, giving me the impression that the product was in stock. It never prompted me that the item was out of stock. I even got a conformation, which included the ability to track the order, but required that I access an app. . I do not access app's for the obvious security reasons. Every company I have ordered from simply includes the tracking number. The company is in southern cal. and I'm located in northern cal. so I figured it would take maybe four days to get to me. I never got the item so I called on April 16th and eventually got Sergio's voice mail, which seems to be the norm since this has happened to me on other occasions. Sergio finally got back to me and stated that when the order came in the product was not in stock. My response was the logical one, which is why was I not notified much earlier. He really did not have a good answer except to blame the company's order entry system. Basically he stated the companies system does not work very well. He was apologetic and said he would send the item using next day service. Since it was Saturday he claimed he could not ship until Monday which was April 19th. On Monday I got a notice that the product had been shipped. Here is were I finally decided to write this review. Sergio had said he would ship the product next day. It was shipped on the 19th and it is now the 21st and I still do not have the product. Obviously, he did not ship next day. I suggest that you call when ordering to make sure they have the product in stock and find out when they are going to ship it. read more

I went to Pacific Trailers today because I needed some replacement parts for my boat trailer. Their customer service was outstanding. I was connected with a service representative as soon as I came in. I told him (Hector) what I needed and a few minutes later he had all my parts ready to go in a box. Very knowledgeable about sizes and specifications of what I needed. Hector even offered to help me out to my truck with the parts. It's nice to go somewhere that remembers how to treat people. Ordered trailer parts before I removed the boat and trailer from storage. Went to install the parts only to find they sold me the wrong parts. Called to exchange for the correct parts only to be told it has been past the 30 day return period...hmmmm, they sell me the incorrect parts and lean on a "company policy" to not exchange or offer a refund...nice customer service!! Ordered something online. Called back to cancel part. Waited for part and never got it. Called back and got this guy who seemed to be doing everything else but helping me. He was confused and was obviously not wanting to be at work or something. Asked about my order. THEY NEVER EVEN SHIPPED IT!!! When I spoke, he never listened. Offered an order number the whole time, but he said it wouldn't do him any good. Why? That's what order numbers are for. If he was listening to me in the beginning, he would of understood the situation. Absolutely no sense of urgency!!!! This kid know anything about trailers??? How about a little urgency in sending it out? I asked when I could expect to receive it. His answer, "I don't know". Well then, can you drop it off at the post office or UPS at your earliest convenience so that I can get it since you forgot to last time??? Part that I canceled had already been charged. Do not take your boat trailer here! The salesman Joe won't listen to your questions and will launch into a high priced sales pitch at the first opportunity. I asked to have my trailer rehabbed and wound up with an overpriced brake system that was delivered 2 weeks later than promised. Bunk board felts needed changing but they never got touched. Didn't even bother to trim up the ends of the zip ties used on the brake lines. Don't make the mistake that did! read more

When I got to the place they told me it would be ready in 2-3 days. I told them I made a reservation and was leaving this week. The guy that wrote me up said that he would get it done today!! I want to thank Luis for the great service he and Pacific Boat Trailers provided! In my acquisition of a new Jet Ski my present Trailer set up could not accommodate the ski. Where to start! I ordered some lights for my trailer, and the website states I will get a email with tracking info for my stuff (never did). It also states from where I live, shipping will take 1 day (didn't happen) I call three days later to get the tracking number and for some odd reason their system was down and they would call me back (didn't happen) I called back Monday to see what their deal was and they said they didn't know what happened, but they will resend everything and I would get it in a day (didn't happen) so I'm almost two weeks into this, and it's bs to have to go through this. Called them to verify they had master cylinders, overload springs, actuator shock absorbers, bearings, brakes and complete backing plates, brake lines, etc. for a three axle trailer I'm refurbishing. They stated yes, we have all the parts. Said I will be there tomorrow to pick everything up. He said, ok. GOT THERE TODAY, SORRY, OUT OF STOCK! except for one overload spring unit (master cylinder requires two). What the heck, I just drove over a 100 miles round trip to pick them up. He said we can ship it all out in 1 to 2 days. But I said you are out of stock. He said we get fast items coming in. Useless bunch. Don't waste your time. Needed to replace the galvanized fenders on a old tandem axle Pacific Trailer. The on-line fenders did not seem to be the right size. I called "Luis" at pacific, gave him my measurements, 10 days later i had the custom made fenders. They fit perfect. All the guys at Pacific are great. I ordered a replacement boat axle from Pacific Trailers and provided the dimensions on their specification sheet. The dimension of the brake hub face pictured on the sheet is the largest diameter measurable surface and was provided at 88 5/8 inches. The overall axle dimension of 96" and the dimension of 85 1/2" to the brake flanges are the only ddimensions you can physically measure. They fabricated these dimensions 3" too short. Who inspected the part and why did they ship it when it was obvious it was not fabricated correctly. In addition the spring mounting flanges were not welded on as specified and only 1 small piece of metal was sent which I assume was supposed to be for the spring mounting. Bottom line-What I received was totally useless too me and when I called to resolve the issue they just said WE made it right. read more

Pacific Trailers is great to work with. Hector assisted me with ordering some new axles (3 of them to be exact) and he did a great job communicating and taking care of me. He really knocked it out of the park and I could not be happier. They have good parts at good prices and know what customer service actually means. Once I get my new axles installed I will most definitely be bringing my trailer/boat to them to have the trailer properly setup for my boat. I have owned a Pacific Trailer since 2002 for my Crestliner and it still looks brand new! I haven't had any problems. I have taken it to their shop twice now for just a few normal maintenance things. I ordered 4 brake assemblies from these guys online. When the parts finally arrived they were packed like garbage and were damaged. I've called several times only to get some kid who always says he's giving it to his manager and i will get a call back, well I'm still waiting for that call back after several calls to them. I don't think they'll ever call back, so the next step is to call the credit card company and dispute the charge and have the funds pulled back from them. They sucker you in with low prices and won't give you any kind of customer support if you have an issue. I will never order from these snakes again, and I recommend you don't either. The first time I ordered parts from Pacific Trailers there were some minor mistakes made, I then contacted James the parts manager and he immediately corrected the errors and has since then assisted me with excellent customer service. Unfortunately my trailer ran into a few minor problems, I tried contacting James and I was told he no longer worked for the company and they would transfer me to another parts guy Lewis, I was put on hold a total of 6 times only to hear Lewis pick up again and ask how he could direct my call.
