Took in my car last week for service because my car was misfiring. It took them 2 days just to inspect and see what the issue was. I didn't get it back for almost a whole week. Horrible services advisor never call you to let you know what is going on, or how much it is going to cost. I had to repeatedly call them and ask about my car and they told me " someone will be reaching out or their assistant to talk to me" which they never did. Never returning for any services, I'll rather go to Santa Monica or even Torrance. They know how to treat their customer better and not leave them waiting! read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would! Before I came in I read reviews about their service (mainly oil change). There was a lot of negative reviews about it but this place is close to my work so i decided to give it a shot. First off I dropped off my car around 11:45am which was my APPOINTMENT TIME. The service advisor (Kurt) told me it'll take approximately 2hrs to get it done. 2 hrs pass and I call and Kurt tells me they weren't finished. Next thing you know time goes by and Kurt finally calls and says my car is done (around 4:20pm). That's a little over 4hours! Come on! Doesn't take this long to do an oil change specially if you're a professional and have the right equipment! So I knew something was up. Also they didn't do any Multi-point/security check which should have been included on their oil change package as stated! I waited til the next day to check my dipstick and there was little to none on the dipstick! I was due for a break fluid change but I decided to go to new century bmw. I just recently picked it up and they told me I was low on oil! And I was like how if I just got it done 2 weeks ago! LONG STORY SHORT I wouldn't trust this place for anything! Listen to the reviews and save your time and money at a different bmw location cus if you don't know about cars. More than likely they are scamming you! This was my first visit to Pacitic BMW for service on my 2011 5 series and my expectations were exceeded. After receiving a service warning yesterday, 1. I called this morning and was treated with hospitality and with a sense of urgency to help. 2. My arrival at the dealer was highly organized and the service advisor, Galo, was a professional in identifying the issue and setting expectations for solutions. He was also friendly with my kids, which is a plus. 3. The waiting area was comfortable and with all the right amenities. The shuttle service was prompt and the drivers were professional and friendly. 4. My car was ready earlier than expected. Nobody responded to my calls. When I went to pick up my car, they said it was charged (the car is electric), that the tire pressure was checked, and that the error I went in for, was fixed. I left the dealership with the error still beeping, no charge on my vehicle and with extremely low tire pressure on all 4 tires. I quickly returned for them to check the tire pressure and they told me it was my fault and that I had to keep driving for it to reset. The technician checked the pressure and it was low. Imagine if I had kept driving? The staff are not patient and rude. read more

I bought a BMW 435i a few years ago from them. Certified pre-owned. However in the last 2 years I've owned the car (under warranty) it has proven to be a lemon. it has had a cracked oil pan, and broken engine coolant bracket and many other repairs all within the first 6 months of ownership. I don't feel their certification meant anything. They are a high volume dealership with a goal of moving cars. They do not have the time to actually look deeply at a car. They don't care you. Nor are they concerned that you are about to spend 40K +++ because in their spectrum that is chump change. The car was a LEMON and they refused to acknowledge any wrong doing because all repairs were free due to it being under warranty. But you tell me...would you want to be stranded on the 5 during morning traffic with your engine bellowing out smoke??? run away and don't waste your money. read more

I brought my car in because the navigation sound was not working. Even though I did not purchase my car from Pacific BMW, he still provided me with the utmost customer service. I recently bought a BMW at Pacific. The customer service is at 100% I also get my car serviced with them and I love how I am welcomed to the service area with my name on the screen. I also receive videos of my car with explanation of everything from them saying my tires are still in great condition to what was done. The staff is all super friendly and welcoming. Been trying to get a quote out of Armando Leyva for about a week/14 emails. Every other dealership I have ever worked with can send me quotes. It has been a odd experience ranging from being told they really want to sell cars, to being told that BMW has closed their factory so Armando considers his inventory sacred. Objects sacred huh, someone wrote about that. I'm going to keep the email string going. I'm actually using the string as a teaching tool. I have 3 of my regional sales managers on bcc. We are using this as a way to help them better their sales techniques. Beware of their predatory sales practices. Armando uses some slick and weak techniques: source credibility, scarcity, reciprocity, under depreciation, fabricating/misrepresenting market conditions among others. Any dealership that would employ this type of person at the director level has to know how they are operating and should be avoided at all costs. read more

I have been bringing my cars here for service since 2013 and the experience has always been excellent. Prompt, communicative service advisors, generous with loaner vehicles for service intervals and transparent. Have brought two 3 series cars here for going on 7+ years now, mostly for routing factory service intervals but had to bring my current car in for engine damage caused by rodent(s). Little bastard chewed up the engine harnesses and did around $7k worth of damage. It was a comp claim (thankfully) and Pacific BMW worked seamlessly with my insurance company, put me in a good loaner for almost a month while they nearly replaced the engine and did an excellent job, returning the car to me like new. Gilbert Pagosyan is my guy there and I can't give him high enough praise. read more

This review is for Issa of sales. Spent a few months looking for the perfect 335 convertible. (Had found one closer to home but that dealership didn't want to let me buy a car). Found one at this location; a 2012 335 with 17k miles, with all the features I wanted. It was newly listed so I called and got in touch with Issa. He stated the car was a lease return and is not ready to be viewed as it has to go through detailing and tire replacements and the CPO process. I told him I was headed out of town for labor day weekend and had work the following week so I was hoping to see it ASAP. He calls me back later that day asking me to visit the dealership the next day. Met him the next day and what a nice guy. Walked me and the wife to where the car was parked. Let us test drive the car as long as I wanted to (no predetermined route he let me take it wherever I wanted). Headed back to the dealer and inspected the car. Issa stated the car still need to get through the reconditioning process (car appeared flawless already). Told my wife I wanted this car. Went inside to discuss numbers. They matched another 335 convertible's price (knocked 3000 off) and that was enough for me. The finance dept was quick as they knew I was a seasoned buyer and I left the dealership. A week later Issa called and the car was ready. I picked it up and it was in flawless condition. Not a scratch not a speck of dirt, it looked amazing. Issa delivered what he promised. Through it all I appreciated working with an experienced salesman who was really customer service oriented, who pulled strings to let me test drive (and purchase) a car that was not ready by their standards, and who went the distance to deliver a car that was in showroom condition. DO NOT BRINT YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICE!!!! The mechanics do NOT know what they're doing here. Charged me over $5k to repair a number of things, only to pick up my car over 1 month later with the same exact issues I dropped it off with!!! Soon as I started the car I noticed the same issues, loud squealing noise coming from the engine and car shutting off while you drive it. Not only this, they DAMAGED ALL 4 rims!!!! Amie Gasabyan claims the scratches on the rims were from sand. Then she tried to say it was because I had the rims painted. The rims are stock,I never had my stock rims painted, nor does that explain the scratches that were made after you had my vehicle for over 1 month! I brought my car to 2 other dealerships and even they laughed when I told them what she said. I mean if you're going to lie about damages you made, at least make it believable! Anyone with common sense would know sand does not cause scratches like that. I told her it looks like someone used an automatic buffer to clean the rims because it caused a lot of tiny scratches that are all in the same direction, depth, and size. She denied this and they did nothing to rectify the situation! They also did nothing to fix the issues I was having with the engine. In fact, she told me it would cost me another 3k to replace the valve cover, but isn't sure that this will fix the problem. After having my vehicle for over 1 month they couldn't even wash it, there was dirt and stains everywhere. The pigs that went in the vehicle stepped all over the rocker panel, leaving dirt and shoe marks on it. You can even see dirt on my door from where they kicked my door open. The "manager" Edgar Oganesyan is dishonest, unprofessional, and a fraud. You're better off taking your chances at a private shop than dealing with the scum that work here. One of the Armenian B that works in loaner dept hit me with the door of a car and didn't even apologize. They feel so entitled here, absolutely zero customer service and hospitality and NO ACCOUNTABILITY! read more

I had exchanged emails with Anto prior to my visit to the showroom. Anto was very professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He quickly assessed my interests, style, and budget and arranged for a test drive on a hard to find M235i. The test drive was great and I fell in love with the car. I thanked Anto and walked away knowing that our paths would cross again at some point in the near future. Several weeks went by and this time I stopped at the dealership with the family to have another look. Needless to say, my family was impressed with Anto and everyone liked him on the get go. This was late on a Wednesday evening. To get to the point, after several views of different cars, Anto pointed us to a very rare find of an M2. He started the car and handed me the keys...I ended up buying the car of my dreams. The transaction completed close to midnight and the staff was kind enough to complete the transaction. I got a call the next morning from Anto to check n me and to have me come back for detailed wash service and get some complimentary goodies from the BMW store. Very impressed. It take just a little EXTRA to go from ordinary to EXTRAordianry, and Anto knows how to deliver. I have purchased numerous cars in my lifetime, but this one is very special and unforgettable. I shopped around different dealers across the country (yeah, seriously) looking for not only a fair price but also a dealer that was efficient and wouldn't BS me. I ended up placing my order for a custom BMW 328i with Greg Poland at Pacific BMW. Greg was able to order the car with the exact features and colors I wanted while still giving a great price and no special order surcharges. All communications was via email/text/phone; I never visited the dealership until delivery. The car arrived after 2 months and the delivery process was quick and easy. Greg met us once we arrived at the dealership and proceeded to take us back to Emil in finance, who handled the paperwork quick and without fuss. We did wait a little bit for the car to be washed and prepped, but the waiting area was nice with the amenities you'd expect at a BMW dealer. Once the car was pulled up, Chris gave us an overview of the car's functions and features. After a final handshake with Greg, we were on our way. I went to many BMW service centers in Los Angeles and my last resort was Pacific BMW. Manuel Cruz was an excellent service advisor. My car was in service through insurance. Manuel gave me step by step on what would happen and kept me updated on the process as my parts came in. There was some delays in parts but I was kept updated as things progressed. I was very picky about what was needed to be done with my car and Manuel accommodated my request frequently. Smooth service and kept me updated step by step. My new BMW Service center for sure. The rental loaner department was excellent. Gave me an X5 loaner which was great. Then I wanted to get into something a little bit more fun so they put on hold for me a Z4. Very fun car and zippy. Seriously unimpressed with my service. I took my car in for the airbag recall in November 2016. I was told they were out of new airbags and would contact me when they got them in. Never received any notification from them until I emailed them in March 2018 to ask where it was. Turns out it was in, or had been in, or something- not sure because no one ever contacted me. Meanwhile I was driving around with a recalled airbag for 18 months, no big deal, it's just my personal safety that we're gambling with. So I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out- for a Saturday. The DAY BEFORE my service I get a call from customer service telling me they don't "do" airbag recalls on the weekends, and I need to bring my car in during the week. ... Are you freaking kidding me? No one bothered to mention this two weeks ago when I made the reservation? What is wrong with this dealership's CS department? read more

I wish I had checked the reviews before coming here - the service department is a total mess. I had the same bad experience as others...total disorganization, empty promises, overpriced. They also caused additional damage to the car and tried to cover it up. The back window on my 2003 325i got stuck and wouldn't go back up. I brought it in and Kurt gave me a rough estimate of $350 - I got a call later in the day that it was actually going to be $650. Kurt explained that the labor is 199 an hour. He was apologetic and said he knew that was very high, but thats how they do it at Pacific BMW. I called around and found an independent shop that quoted me $300. I called Kurt and told him I would take it to the other place. Went to pick up the car - I get in, about to drive off...I notice that the other rear window is down - hit the button to close it - and nothing...the other window is now broken AND THEY DIDN'T TELL ME. They were going to let me drive off into the sunset. Kurt was not available so Edgar came over to help me - he checked the paperwork and it showed that while they were testing it the regulator broke...it was in the paperwork but they didn't tell me. I told Edgar they needed to fix it. He told me that it could have happened at any time, it's because it's an older car. I told him it happened while it was in the shop with them and they need to fix it. We went back and forth and came to an agreement on a reduced price to fix both windows. This was on Friday. Edgar said the car would be ready later that day. No call...Monday no call...Tuesday I text Kurt...finally on Thursday I get a call from Kurt - the work still hasn't been done, but they have the doors open and now I need a new vapor barrier on each side. Oh and the work won't be done until Friday because the guy who started the job is off for two days? How many people work in this place? Kurt promises it will be done by Friday, but if it isn't they will get me a loaner for the weekend. Friday - no call. I text Kurt, no response. So on Saturday morning I call and ask to arrange the loaner that Kurt promised. Surprise - no loaners available. But coincidentally the car is now ready! I go in at 5pm to pick it up. (They are open until 7 on Saturday.) I pay, the guy says the car will be right down. There are no customers, I'm the only one in the service area. AND IT TAKES 30 MINUTES FOR THEM TO BRING MY CAR!? Total disarray. Don't waste your time or your money. Management here needs to step up and make some major changes. read more

If I can give this place -10 stars i would. I took my car in for routine service and was told that my service advisor would approach me to take in my car. Waiting next to my car on the curb where the service department is for 45 minutes and Manny Cruz did not approach or acknowledge my presence mind you that there are cars coming in and out of this service station which makes it very unsafe for me to be there. After 45 minutes of waiting another worker which I don't believe was a service advisor came up to me and asked if I needed and help and she took my car and got me going with my day. I was told it would be 2-3 hours before my car would be ready and that they would send me an uber to take me back to pick up my car. After 4 hours no one contacted me so I took an uber myself and went to the dealer to see whats going on. Again Manny Cruz did not acknowledge me and kept ignoring my until about 30 minutes later when i walked up to him and said i need my car. This is when i was told that my car is still in the wash and would be ready soon. He also came to me and said that they are not able to reset my oil service light on the car because there was rodent damage to some wiring. I asked for the repair estimate and was told by him that he would email me this by the end of the day. Never happened. Then I called him on Friday as a reminder and of course no answer so left a VM and again no answer. I went out to the service department on Saturday waiting again for some time and he said he would get it to my by end of the day. Again never happened. Monday came along and i drove out to him again. Asked for the repair estimate and this is when he told me that the Tech that found the damage was not in and his manager would write up an estimate and get it to me in a couple of hours. Again never happened. On Tuesday i sent him a message asking for it and told him that i would leave a review if he doesnt help me with this and Manny's reply to this text was dont threaten me with a survey. Great customer service buddy, I am sure you will get somewhere with these service skills one day. After all of this i still did not get the repair estimate from Manny Cruz so I decided to call the service manager Edgar and Sal. None of them have responded to my VM since then. Mind you its been over a week now. I went out there again today at noon asked for Sal or Edgar and a lady (which i didnt get her name) from the service department asked me to wait in the waiting area for one of them to come out. 20 minutes later i went up to her and she tells me that they are both out to lunch and she doesnt know when they will be back. I asked for the GM and she responded by we dont have a GM at this dealer and walked away. Again poor customer service. I guess i will contact BMW USA about this issue and I will email the owner who now I know is tomorrow morning about this matter. Lets see what he thinks about this service that I have been getting from the service department. Please everyone STAY AWAY FROM PACIFIC BMW SERVICE DEPARTMENT. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL TO CUSTOMERS. I sure will never go back to this place for any kind of service or when my lease is done to get another BMW which is just around the corner. Honestly, would give zero stars if I could given the amount of time I wasted here. I negotiated a price with James Warren from Pacific over email and agreed to come in to the dealer. Once I got there, the team was not willing to honor the prices given, saying it was a mistake (shady), and jacked it up by $5,000. The explanation was that they had backed out the down payment before giving me the price. To illustrate, that's like saying for something that costs $20, give me $5 and the total price is now $15. I was willing to negotiate even given the "mistake" but they were completely unwilling to even meet me halfway. They blamed me for the mistake and were highly rude and aggressive towards me. Strongly recommend against looking at these guys for your BMW needs. read more

My first car purchase was a CPO 428i from Emilio Dasaad, and I regret it. The process of getting the car was dramatic. After he committed to holding the car for me for the day, of which I was making a final move to SoCal, I get off the plane to have him tell me he sold the car I wanted. Then, switched his position and said it wasn't sold. Okay. I arrive, ready to buy the car, with a prequalification letter in hand, and somehow it still took over 3.5hrs to process. I purchased the GAP insurance and extended warranties, without haggling. They failed to update my address of which they knew I was moving to, so I didn't get my first bill. Emilio forwards me to BMW Financial, and after a week of investigating, which BMW Fin sends me back to the dealership because they supposedly forgot to create an account for me, the dealership then says "oh, your loan isn't through the dealership, it's through this bank." I was transferred 4 times before coming to this, of which the dealership should have known before transferring me to BMW Financial. Okay.. 3.5 weeks into owning my car, I notice a defect of the handle on my driver seat, the piece is completely discolored, and should've been screened by CPO. I also found two long 6 to 8 inch scratches on the driver window when I was getting my windows tinted. I contact Emilio with my concerns and he basically blames me for not pointing it out earlier, and then the tinter, a reputable tinter who told me there was no way an exacto blade could cut the glass like that, nonetheless TWICE. Emilio has deflected, and even made me feel like all of this was my fault, taking zero accountability for BMW short sighting both of these issues. Emilio forwarded me to another representative to do my final inspection, whom he rushed me out the door and couldn't be bothered. My first time buying a car from a reputable brand dealership has completely failed in delivering quality experience. Emilio and his management team lack business integrity and should be avoided. Bought a 328i from Pacific BMW in 2014... I Had a cracked windshield on the highway and wanted OEM windshield repairs made. Currently my BMW is leaking water in the front cowling and Pacific BMW will not stand by their work.... I came to Pacific BMW to get the work done right... I paid 3x what a normal shop would cost for this work... Pacific BMW says the two year warranty on the work is now void... I understand that and respect. But this is getting at the issues of quality of work and reputation.... If your service moto is "Nothing is more important to us than our reputation for great service" Well your reputation should reflect that you have issues replacing windshields correctly.... Cowl sealing issues are a common and documented problem with the 328i car series... This is exactly why i took it to your dealership do the work.... Very disappointed with the work... Service manager wont call me back after multiple messages and calls.... good luck to all. looks like I am out another 1000$ to re-replace my windshield again... Wont be going with Pacific BMW that is for sure.... read more

Friday afternoon ... Engine Malfunction - Reduce Power Oh Crap!!! It's that damn high fuel pressure pump. I called AAA for a flat bed and it arrived within 45 minutes. I called Pacific BMW and they said a courtesy car would be available before 7:00 pm. I met Marco as the BMW was being removed from the flat bed, and he told me that it probably on Tuesday before I get it back, so a courtesy car was being arranged. We sat down in his office and did the paperwork. He mentioned the extended warranty on the engine's high fuel pressure pump up to 120,000. I mentioned that the high fuel pressure pump has been replaced three times since the recall. Luckily with the car i was able to spend the weekend with Mom during Mother's Day, and it was on Tuesday when Marco called to tell me that the repair was under the extended warranty, and that the 6 injectors were replaced, and asked what time I wanted to pick up the car on Wednesday. During my lunch hour I drove to Pacific BMW to pick up my washed, vacuumed, and new injectors on the engine at no cost since the company had extended the warranty. this dealership is notorious for conning people! lol oh boy where do i start, i have a lease n i've been getting reamed in every direction, i got an attorney involved...i took it to them for a "lease end inspection" and they're trying to charge me 2000+ for things that i have signed off by corporate bmw inspector stating it was all good and nothing needed to be repaired. i have a dent smaller than a quarter they want me to change the door, i have a small chip on my bumper they want me to buy a new bumper, i have very good tires they want all 4 replaced. loll people i don't leave reviews it takes a lot to piss me to leave reviews.... I've generally had good experiences bringing my vehicle to BMW dealerships for service but at Pacific have had an extremely negative experience. I had an electrical problem so I went to the internet where I found that this set of conditions - complete loss of electrical power, including failure to start, failure of central locking system, and inability to insert/remove key - was a set found by many due to faulty wiring to the main fusebox. This condition was the subject of a recall, and it was suggested that opening the fusebox and jiggling the wiring would offer a quick correct. I did this and was able to start the car and pull it into a spot and out of the street. I called my Pacific BMW and spoke with a specialist named Narek. I explained what had happened and asked about the recall. He looked at the file on my vehicle and told me that the recall did not affect my model year, and that I should bring the car in for a $200 diagnostic. Based on this I visited for the first time a non-BMW repair shop where I paid $120 for a diagnostic. The technician who performed this diagnostic confirmed that the wiring to the fusebox was faulty and further provided me with information showing that there was a recall for this and that it did affect my make and model year contrary to what Narek told me. After reviewing my records I found that I had received notification of this recall in March 2013 and that the corrective work was performed in May 2013 at a different shop. I visited Pacific to speak with a service representative about my experience. A representative, Amie, told me that Narek could not see that this work had been done to my vehicle because it was done at a different dealership. When I pressed her on this she then told me that he didn't look deep enough at my record. Even when I directly asked, she failed to explain why he lied to me by telling me that the recall did not affect my model year. She further told me that Pacific BMW would not help me because the work was not completed there and that I needed to contact BMW North America for further assistance. After the weekend I wrote the service manager Edgar about this. He apologized for the 'misinformation' and offered to evaluate the vehicle if I brought it in and paid for a diagnostic. When I protested as my initial call with Narek led me to spend money elsewhere, he told me that if it was found to be a manufacture issue I would not have to pay but otherwise I would be charged. At no point has anyone from Pacific BMW taken responsibility for the initial call in which I was lied to, and at every point they have asked me to come in and spend money. I have asked multiple times in direct terms for them to explain the lie which they have not done. After years of great service from other BMW dealerships I'm quite shocked at how little they seem to care about the relationship with a customer. I'm not usually one to write bad yelp reviews but this situation I feel warrants it. If you have an issue with your BMW, I suggest you take it somewhere (anywhere) else. read more
