This team starting with the two Brandons and Mark were absolutely REMARKABLE. They were on time and had our project notes exactly the way we conveyed to Ryan when he came to preview our project. Mark respected the areas around our Blue Spruce which was being crowded out by our neighbor's trees. Surprisingly, the team worked so well together that the sound of the chainsaw was very minimal. They took the tree down in one hour, cleaned up the minimal sawdust, shredded all of the limbs and started the 2nd project on an overgrown Leyland Pine. It's hard to believe that both trees were there when we awoke this morning and now the one is gone and the other trimmed so nice. it's like they were never there. We truly enjoyed watching them and they were extremely pleasant conversationalists when all was done! These guys know their stuff! read more

From the estimate to the actual project completion was a seamless experience. It was truly a pleasure to watch this crew of professionals work together. They dropped a leaning 70ft Blue spruce in one hour from the time the first cut was made. The 3 man crew were energetic, safety conscious, and clearly at the top of their craft. Every limb fall was controlled to avoid nearby power line, hedges and a birdbath planter structure. They placed pads across my lawn to protect it from the limb loader and stump grinder. they cleaned up so well it was difficult to tell they had even been there other than my, now open view to the Cascades to the east. I had a huge out of control English laurel. I talked estimates on having it trimmed to be more appealing or removing it by this company and a few others. The other companies didn't seem to know as much as this company so I went with them. This is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. I'm still getting used to the improvement and I know my neighbors like it too. I had a "landscaping" company try to give me a bid more than twice as much and then come down when I told them the price of this place. Fast! Expertly trimmed and pruned my huge cherry tree! They got to work right away. At first I was concerned because they worked so fast as they quickly cut and fed very large branches into the grinder. However, they worked that fast because they knew what they were doing so well. We, and our next door neighbor, needed to have 2 maple trees removed. They were leaning on our fence and in a very narrow space between our two homes. As always suggested, we got multiple bids from companies with high ratings on Yelp, recommendations from friends, as well as neighbors who recently had work done. Ryan at Pacific Arboriculture was one of the first bids we received. We had the good fortune to see his team in action as he did work for some neighbors. They spoke very highly about Ryan and his team. We probably went overboard on getting bids (we had about 7), however it really pays to get those multiple bids. We had an extremely wide range that varied by thousands (yes, I said THOUSANDS) of dollars. Several companies made it sound as though taking these small to medium size trees down would be so complicated they acted as though they really didn't want the job. I actually think a couple of the highest bids were to discourage us from using them. Ryan, on the other hand, was very positive, is a very professional yet friendly young man. He's a certified Arborist, so he knows trees well. He brought a team with him who were also very professional and friendly. Ryan was safely strapped with climbing gear for his protection as he worked. As fast as he cut, they hauled away the branches. He had both trees down, all yard debris cleaned up and done in close to 1 1/2 hours. He knows what he's doing in a manner that is safe for not only himself but his team as well. The trees were very close to the neighbors house (actually on their property) and he didn't hit the side of their house once! Please see the photos I posted. It was fascinating to watch him work!! Ryan could not have done a better job for us. As a side note, he was going to deadhead some branches on an Mt. Ash we have but due to a bees nest, was not able to do it safely. He has promised to come back this winter when the bees are gone. All the above couldn't have been better. And one huge plus was he was the lowest bid by far. The highest bid was over $1,500 higher!! Somewhat ridiculous. I would have Ryan and his team back in a heartbeat. As I mentioned above, he's a certified Arborist and knows what he's doing. He shows up on time. He even trimmed back some branches hanging over our fence from a tree in our neighbors yard and didn't charge anything extra. If you need any tree work done, I can't speak highly enough for Pacific Arboriculture, Ryan and his team. They are professional, knowledgeable, local, fairly priced, friendly and just an all around great company. read more

Ryan and his team performed great at a difficult job. We had a two-fer red cedar that was threatening and pushing against another structure in our back yard. With minimal clearance (no more than 3 feet) on all sides, they were able to segment and lower carefully the tree pieces and hand carry them out. Ryan responded quickly to our initial inquiry, did an in-person estimate, followed up with our questions, showed up on time, did a quick professional job and cleaned up afterwards. Ryan was wonderful! We have a narrow gate to get through to the backyard, he tried to get the stump grinder through, but unfortunately it wouldn't fit! I can't recommend Pacific Arboriculture enough. Ryan was prompt, communicative, fast, thorough, and a pleasure to work with. His price was very competitive, as well, and he worked within our budget to get the work done we needed. He did a great job on our large dead eyesore of a tree in our backyard, got flexible with an inconveniently placed fence, picked up all the debris, and turned the large rounds into easy to use firewood rounds for us. He was also kind enough to spend some time giving me tips on a few other trees on our property, and didn't seem rushed or bothered by the request, even though he had other jobs to get to afterwards. A crew of at least 6 just left our home after an hour of giving our huge cherry tree a nice haircut. I would agree that Ryan is wonderful! He is knowledgeable, professional, and personable, and was very thorough with our trees. Upon inspection day, Ryan inspected the bark, roots, and each tree as a whole. He walked me through the process of the health of each tree, his recommendations for them, and addressed each of my concerns. I appreciated his concern to not use spikes to climb the trees so that they did not transfer any infection from one tree to another. On our appointment day, Ryan worked at a good, yet safe and detailed pace. He had two helpers that worked well with him. I found Ryan's prices are fair, his quote was less than our first quote from a different company, and he was able recommend maintaining our trees rather than just chopping them down.
