After seeing Northern Craft Tree Solutions in action in our yard for 5 days, our neighbor had his trees limbed and cleaned up. It was great watching them make quick work of the trees. Tom and the crew are so polite and considerate of property owners personal property. Highly recommend this team! read more

Northern Craft provided me with a bid to trim some large trees that are encroaching on my property. After they came by to assess the situation I cancelled two other contractors that were willing to work with me. Then this company ghosted me -- i sent three texts/e mails asking for a quote or estimate -- they never bothered to respond. WTH??? I would not recommend this company-- their customer service is abysmal. And if I could give them 0 stars i would. read more

I used these guys for removing three small trees which seemed to go pretty good. They brought in a company to do the stump removal and those people did a terrible job. I still am dealing with the apple tree today. I've tried and tried to call Brittany to get the number to the other people in with no avail, and no callback. You don't truly realize how bad these things are until the weather gets better and it starts growing again. The guy that came out I believe was Jim and what a schmooze. I do not recommend these people unless you want to play games with trying to get a hold of them if there's any kind of problem at all. I see a lot of really great reviews, which is kind of odd to me so maybe they paid people...? read more

Jim came out to bid the job of removing a 120' tall Douglas Fir that beetles had killed. Positioned right next to our driveway motorized gate, it was a little concerning but neither Jim, nor the crew that came out the next day were a bit concerned. They cut down the tree by 2pm, I posted pictures and an ad on Craigslist and Nextdoor offering the wood for free, two different people showed up and it was ALL gone by 630pm. I'm still shocked. read more

We have used this company twice to trim a row of Leyland cypress and prune trees. They are professional, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. The garden looks well cared for after their visit! Thanks for an outstanding job! This company cares about excellent work and satisfied customers! DK December 2025 read more

Of the four companies we contacted- Northern Craft was the fastest to respond and came in with the best bid to remove a big Douglas Fir. Exceptional service from beginning to end, and I would use them again anytime. read more

Anyone reading this review, try calling their phone number and you can see why our review is BAD. It always goes to voicemail. No one ever calls back. We engaged them for some tree removal services over a year ago. They did part of the job which we already paid and they still have our advance payment. Called them so many times with no one ever calling back. Either refund our advance amount or complete the damn job. Will report this to BBB if we don't hear back. Deadline before we report to BBB is 11/26/2025. read more

I've hired them twice, and overall they did a good job. Their estimates were very reasonable, the work was completed on time, and it was done with professionalism. However, there were two issues worth mentioning: they did not cut the tree logs into reasonable sizes for reuse or giveaway, even after I pointed it out during the job, and they were not responsive to phone calls (communication had to be over text). Aside from these concerns, my experience with them has been positive. read more

Of the tree services who answered my request, Northern was the only that said, "tell us when we can come and consult with you." All the others wanted me to either look at their calendar for availability or take pics so they could create an estimate. Northern understood it was on them to reach out and do the work; the others wanted me to do it for them. That means they know the value of their customers. As well, they were prompt and efficient. One of the crew found an expensive ring where they were working and brought it to me. It had been lost by previous owners who were so grateful to have it back. And reasonable. Thanks everyone! This tree service was one of the fastest and most professional responses I received when I started searching for quotes for tree removal. I had 11 trees removed and they had it completed within 4 days but I expected it too take much longer than that to even schedule it!! They were awesome, and my dogs and I are so happy with the results!!! Thank you!! read more

We had a tree fall on our house . Northern Craft was able to do a great job and clear the tree ... no problem.

Brandon gave helpful advice and reasonable estimate. The scheduling experience is smooth. The workers came on time even on a rainy day and did the job professionally. I'm really impressed by their dedication. Will absolutely recommend them to anyone! read more

Ghosted worse than Halloween. Contacted these folks from a referral from a contact who used them before. Responsive at first and polite. Estimator/arborist came out, took measurements and we agreed to look at an itemized quote for three jobs (small, dangerous tree removal, large optional tree removal, and pruning of an aging fruit tree). Received estimate, it was all one job, no itemization. Not what I expected. Wanted to prioritize the dangerous removal first. Asked again for the itemization of projects. Absolutely nothing. Texted and called and asked if my job was too small for them (?) Again - nothing. If you want to say no - especially when client offers cash and or check payment please say no. But would recommend others not wasting their time dealing with this let down of a company. read more

Great company - responsive, fast and very reasonable prices. Will definitely hire them again

I called 4 tree company services to get bids. They gave me a bid after walking the property, evaluating everything. They were very thorough. The other tree companies either came back way overpriced or told me they'd email me a bid. (One of which I never got after a week.) And their bid was not only the best, but also the most efficient within the project scope. Even if their bid wasn't the lowest, I still would've gone with them since of their thoroughness concerning the trees on my property. Highly recommend them. read more

First, Matt gave me a reasonable estimate. He explained the process and walked my yard. He knew a lot about plants and trees and genuinely a nice guy. The crew of approximately 7 guys came to my home to cut down 2 lg trees. Each person knew their job and it went perfectly. Having the ability to cut down a tree in a narrow area while not damaging a home is a skill set. I was incredibly impressed and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

We needed to have two dead trees taken down. We also needed to have the canopy raised on several fir trees. A site visit produced a fair bid for the amount of work that needed to be completed. A week later, the crew was out to complete the job. The crew worked diligently and professionally , completing the job in about half a day. They were pleasant, hard working and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. Also cleaned up and left no mess. Would not hesitate to hire them again. read more

Matthew is very professional and knowledgeable. He shared a lot of knowledge of my trees and other native trees to us and give good suggestions on the best way to maintain the tree. Price quoted was very reasonable and the tree cutting and trimming service was very great. The team was professional and very clean. I will definitely request the tree service from them again in the future. read more

Very prompt and knowledgeable of the task required. The only company out of five that submitted a detailed written proposal.

The crew was awesome and I would recommend to anyone!!! They were polite, did a great job and everything was cleaned up. Great job!!!

Requested service with limbing away from property, cutback for health, safety, and shaping. Estimate process was swift and extremely knowledgeable, even helping us understand what work we did not need done so we were not cutting trees for the sake of cutting trees. The honesty really sold us so we weren't spending an exorbitant amount on things not needed, and learned about the trees on our property. Scheduling for the work was quick and a few days later, and the team was polite, efficient, and all around great. We will definitely be using Northern Craft Tree Solutions again for all our tree needs. read more

I had the lower limbs of some douglas firs removed and the dead wood cleaned out of the top. They did an amazing job and cleaned up so well that the ground looked like they hadn't even been there. I was a little worried that the company seemed new, but turns out this is Devoted Tress Services rebranded. Apparently the owner's of that company parted ways. You can see the logo is almost the same between the two. They were one of my cheaper quotes too. I would definitely use them again. read more
