We walked the property and he listened to my ideas and offered suggestions that made sense. He got back to me with an estimate that I was really pleased with and worked within my schedule. A few days before everything was to be completed, Van came back and we walked the property again checking on the work already done and yet to be complete. He makes himself available whether it is by phone, text or in person always. I appreciate his willingness to talk to us, to make sure we are all on the same page. Something that I have found working with other landscapers is that they don't listen. That simple. There's a lot of nodding and "sure, sure" but they are only half-heartedly hearing us. I have been continually surprised by his ability to repeat our wishes back to us --weeks later-- which builds trust. I had Minh's Landscaping install a retaining wall and top soil for curb appeal for my front yard…read morenear the driveway, and WOW, they really went beyond what I expected. My neighborhood loves it because honestly it looked like trash before, it was just rocks and weeds. I got a couple of estimates before Minh's, and one of them said they would not remove the rocks and weeds, and that they would just put soil over it. They charged almost triple as well. Another company said they could not remove the rocks and weeds. I was getting so desperate that I even put a sign out saying "free rocks, you haul" but nobody took them. Minh's Landscaping made my curb look BEAUTIFUL, so nice in fact that I have decided to start small remodels on the rest of the house, and we are going to stay there, because before I even wanted to move. I will be calling them to help me with several other projects when Spring comes around!
