Did a horrible job cutting trees and pulling out plants by roots. With the tree cutting, they prune the tree but did not shortend the tree as agreed upon. With pulling out plant by the roots. They just pulled out plants but root remains so they will grow back next season. Their clean up was crap. I would not suggest these guy to anyone. It seem they just wanted to get done and move onto to their next job which shows in their quality of work....a rush job! read more

Amazing experience! I called several places for quotes and either didn't get calls back or got astronomical quotes, and or couldn't get calls back to schedule. I got ahold of five star and the next day had the boss/owner Ezekiel out providing a quote. His quote included clean up and cutting trees into rounds, which were separate charged with other vendors and is what I expected. I had a date that worked great for us to have 5 trees taken down that were close to not only our home but our neighbors and power, cable & telephone lines. The entire crew was prompt on arrival time, professional, and courteous. At one point one of my outdoor pots was knocked over by a limb coming down and they took the time to put it back up. I was more than happy to provide water, coffee and lunch for the crew and they were incredibly grateful. The crew worked fast, efficiently, safely and respectfully. After finishing the job the owner was happy to go to my neighbors house who needed a quote too, and even took the time to go to two other neighbors houses to provide quotes while he was out. I will absolutely recommend five star over and over, hands down to anyone who needs tree services and I'm so glad everything else fell through (even a different company I'd previously used) because the service that was provided was above and beyond, and I'm beyond thankful! read more

Had a 40-50 foot cedar in my yard at property line with a chain link fence just a foot away. They were careful to keep branches from falling on the fence. Took just over an hour from start to finish and they cleaned up the area when done. Very happy with their work and if I had another tree to remove, they'd be the ones I'd call. We received four other quotes and Five Star was by far the most reasonable. The owner is responsive to texts and calls, and showed up on time. The crew worked efficiently to get the tree down and cleaned up along the way. They even took the time to clean out the storm drain that had some debris from the tree. It took less than 6 hours to take down a deodar cedar and grind the stump. Definitely going to have them come back to take care of a few other trees on my property. Very happy with their service. They were efficient timely, punctual and fair priced. Even did a little prep work that I didn't have time to do myself. And took all of the limbs and logs with them. Would definitely reccomend them to anyone needing tree removal in a tight spot. They were able to bring some good sized cotton woods straight down between a busy road, a fence and my house only 30ft away, with no issues. No damage to the fence no damage to the house, and didn't need to interrupt traffic so no permit needed. Excellent work all around. read more

I initially hired 5 Star to remove a large Acacia tree and stump grind. I was pleased with the work and the price. Now I need to have two tree stumps to grind down. When I got their price, they must have thought I was an easy mark, the price went from $75.00 initially to now $150.00 per stump. Don't trust this company, they will use any excuse to inflate their prices, they told me that their workers gave me an incorrect price initially. Whose fault is that? They can't control their prices or workers. Do yourselves a favor and explore other tree trimming services that are more professional in their business practices, if not, you could be their next target. read more

I can't say enough about Five Star Tree Service. I had a bit of an emergency yesterday. When I walked outside my house yesterday morning I found 3/4 of one of our trees down lying in front of our house. One side of ot was in the road a bit and it was a bushy evergreen & needed to be moved quickly. My husband and I tried to move it but in doing so, a branch broke as we were pulling it and my husband fell and hurt his back. Leave this kind of thing to professionals! Ezequiel came out and gave us a quote for all our large fruit trees for not much more than the quote for the largest tree alone from a big company a couple of years ago. He worked us in the following week, and did a fantasic job!
