Unfortunately, this visit was nothing like our previous experiences. This was not a cheap brunch, yet it lacked some of the most basic brunch offerings -- no omelet station, no waffles, pancakes, or the variety that was offered in the past. The food overall was very disappointing and nowhere near worth the price. What made it even worse was the dessert area. Once desserts ran out, they were never refilled, and several members of my family never even had the chance to try them. For the amount charged, this is unacceptable. I even asked the host about the omelet station they used to offer and was told it was removed because the lines would get too long. That is not a good excuse. Other brunch places like Grand Concourse still manage to offer omelet stations, waffle stations, eggs, meats, and much more at a similar or even lower price point. I left embarrassed and disappointed after recommending this place to my family for such a special occasion. Sadly, we will not be returning, and I would not recommend this brunch experience to others looking for a quality Mother's Day celebration.

Instead of taking a few minutes to actually discuss it with me, the person I spoke with repeatedly told me to "look on our website." Yes, obviously I can look at the website. That's not why I called. I called because I wanted to speak with someone, ask questions, understand how the catering works, and make arrangements for an event. I shouldn't have to chase down basic information or feel like I'm inconveniencing someone simply because I'm trying to give the company my business. The interaction was extremely unhelpful and honestly left me wondering how difficult it would be to actually coordinate an entire catered event if getting basic questions answered was already this frustrating. You lost a customer today. And that's especially disappointing because I was referred to you by people who genuinely enjoy your food. Hospitality is about more than the food. It's about how you treat people, especially when they're calling because they want to spend their money with you. If answering customers' questions and helping them through the process is too much, then perhaps catering--and hospitality in general--isn't the right business to be in.
