I am not sure why the ratings are so low! we ordered food for eight people, and it was ready and under an hour for pick up! when I got the food, it was still hot and very flavorful, and not too greasy! I wish I could speak to how the place looked however, I did not pick up the food so for ambience I apologize you will have to view other reviews!

Place doesn't look like much from the outside, but some of the best takeout pizza joints don't. P Jay's Pizza is a lil pizza shop near the intersection of Ridge and Snow roads in Parma and I genuinely enjoy their pizza. Hey he sign for them on Ridge isn't much, but there's ample parking in the rear parking lot with a takeout entrance. Just give em a hollar and let me know whatcha need. They'll get your order ready and then when you park in the back, go in the back entrance and walk all the way to the front register to be served. You'll pass the kitchen and the ovens, in case you wanna see the works. We ordered an extra large deluxe and I emailed to ask if they offer take and bake pizzas. Mainly because I was going to be in the area around noon and wanted to pick up a pizza I could bake later that evening. The awesome folks at P Jay's got back to me quick and offered fantastic advice. They said they offer a half baked pizza that I could finish baking later. They even asked in I had a convection oven and provide excellent instructions for baking. The pizza came out amazing and had wonderful cheese, a savory sauce, plentiful quality toppings, and a tasty crunchy crust. I could not find a single thing wrong with that pizza. Just look at the pics!

The Parma area pizza shops must be known for their large pizzas being on the smaller end. Ordered pizza for delivery and was impressed with the large selection of specials they had to offer. I decided to go with the (2) 1-topping, large pizzas. You can't beat this special for around $20 including delivery. The pizza wasn't my favorite in the parma area. The sauce was a little too sweet for my liking but overall the pizza was okay.

    Can you imagine eating that?

was just delivered the worst pizza I've ever had in my life from P.Jays. It was a speciality pizza called Sicilian Sausage. When you bake a pizza with sausage on it, the grease will exit the sausage, and filter down to the crust. Imagine a pizza filled with sausage and what would happen. And that's exactly what I got. A grease laden crust so wet, and disgusting, you could actually pick up a piece and watch grease drip from it. Never ever again.

    Large stromboli - delish

My parents wanted to order pizza Friday night and they didn't want to dine in. So I ordered a large mushroom, sausage, and black olive for my parents. I ordered a large stromboli with hot peppers for me, and a small cheese pizza for my kids. Delivery took 45 minutes as indicated. The pizza was hot and fresh. The sausage and mushrooms were large and very tasty. My stromboli was very good. The peppers had just a hint of heat. I was hoping for a little more kick there. The mozzarella and ham were tasty. I grew up eating oily stromboli and this was dry by comparison. We haven't eaten PJ's pizza in a long time, so we were due. We liked it and we would order it again.

If you check out my reviews, you'll see that I've sampled pizzas in more than one state and more than one country, including Italy. I've sampled many types of crusts and sauces. While the crust here is fine (not the best), the sauce is repulsive. My daughter said "Dad, this area is heavily populated with people from Eastern Bloc countries," to which I responded "If they like their pizza sweet, so be it. But I certainly don't." I understand that there are plenty of pizza styles, including the Greek version, which includes cinnamon on occasion. Yuck. This place is called Napoleon's Pizza, and they claim to conquer pretty much everything, from your pizza craving to the whole town of Parma. Indeed, Napoleon was an Italian dude who was born in France. His conquering skills were excellent, until his greed resulted in the deaths of thousands of soldiers who froze to death. All of that to say, I might've named this place Napoli's Pizza (since Napoli is the birthplace of the pizza we know today). But the sweet sauce here is an abomination, so maybe 'Napolean's' is more appropriate after all.

Coming into the store there was a cute counter by the window if you did decide to sit inside and eat. We came all the way from Kent for the pizza and wanted to try a slice before we left for home so my boyfriend ate a slice in the parking lot really quick. An employee (possibly the owner) came out with napkins and offered us to sit inside. We declined as we had to leave but the man graciously went inside and brought us out cold water bottles for our drive home! It was such a thoughtful gesture. Now onto the pizza. It was delicious! We ordered a regular pepperoni pizza and the white Neapolitan style pizza. It wouldn't let me add pineapple to my pizza online, which was fine because it didn't need it, the pizza was so good! My boyfriend loved his pepperoni pizza and I also enjoyed my Neapolitan style white pizza. It had a great garlicky flavor and was crispy on the crust. Will definitely be back to try the margarita pizza next! So if you're looking for a great pizza with hospitality I recommend coming to Joe De's!

I wish they had a few better salad options personally. The employee (and I assume owner?) is SO warm and welcoming, treating you like an old friend. I LOVE THIS PLACE !

Let me tell you first of all I walk in to this little mom and pop pizza shop and was immediately greeted at the counter, asking me if I had an order in or would like to place one. Since I did not call it in, I placed my order and told them that I wanted a little heavy on the sauce with my usual pepperoni and sausage, which is my go to when I first try a new pizza place. The staff was very friendly and the guy in the front and I struck up some nice conversation regarding hometown pizza places and diners between here and where I live in the Hamilton/Fairfield area. He asked me how he liked my pizza and I told him a little bit on the darker side and it came out perfect. Super nice people and a very clean interior of the building. It is not dine in so you'll have to carry out. As I left, I cracked the box in my car to let the pizza cool a little and could just smell the flavor coming out of there. Since I am traveling on the road for sales, I did not have a hotel booked yet being lunchtime so I pulled over in a county park and had my lunch. This could be possibly the best Italian sausage I have ever had on a pizza anywhere. If you'd like sausage on your pizza, don't skip it. I am going to give it a nine out of 10, which is really high for me and I will surely be back time after time when traveling through here. Well done!

Also, the NY style woodfired crust was amazing I wish the bottom was crispier but that's not their fault as this was a togo order!
