The main course was super delicious- the Pad Thai and Firecracker Shrimp Bowl. Great portion size on the main course. Service was quick. I remember loving P.F. Chang's growing up, especially their lettuce wraps! The wraps did not disappoint this time either. They're still just as tasty and flavorful as I remember them. The margarita I got surprised me (in a positive way). It was much lighter and more balanced than I anticipated. It was only slightly sweet, but not overly. Service was good. Finally physically experienced P.F. Chang's. I e had take out from them a couple times but never actually went into one of their restaurants. The ambiance was so tasteful. Loved the colors and the textures of the booths throughout. It has a grown and sexy vibe but it's still family friendly. We pretty much ordered Appetizers and drinks. We got the calamari. Honestly without the sauce it was very bland. It didn't taste bad but really had no taste at all. We got sushi and that was decent. Lastly we got 2 orders of the shrimp pot stickers which were absolutely delicious. Hence why we ordered the 2nd one lol. We also ordered drinks. I tried the apple mojito 1st and it wasn't my jam. A bit too sour for me. So I replaced it with the sangria which was really good and still had a good kick to it. My bf order tequila old fashions all night lbs. The service was really good. Although she did seem a little irritable when I said I didn't like my 1st drink. The bill was a bit pricey but it was like 6 drinks in total so I didn't expect much less. Such an amazing dinner! I came to PF changs for Valentine's Day and loved everything I ordered. The veggie spring rolls were filled to the brim and had a wide variety of veggies inside - it was the perfect start to the meal. The Chang's spicy chicken was super crispy and more of a sweet n sour taste but it was sooo good with the white rice. Finally, the lo mein was super tasty and went well with the Chang's spicy chicken as well! It was not too oily and had just the right amount of sauce. I will say the chicken that came with the lo mein was slightly tough so I would order that vegetarian next time. I have to come back to try the infamous lettuce wraps! Also pro tip - make a reservation on their website the day before you go! You'll be seated so quickly and will have first dibs to sit at one of their giant booths:) read more

Visited with my fiancé from Ohio for a graduation, and came here for dinner. The place was very clean, the restroom smelled good, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was nice, but the tea was absolutely splendid! I enjoyed the tea very much, so much that I inquired about how to get some myself. Connor was our server, he was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed him very much! If we visit again, I would easily choose to dine here again based on Connor's service and the tea alone. read more

P.F. Chang's has been a favorite upscale Chinese restaurant of mine. I miss the Walnut Shrimp they took off the menu. Unfortunately. I was very disappointed during my recent vivit to the Lombard unit. Food and service were good. However they eliminated the luncheon menu, the restroom needs some TLC, and the table was sticky. No surprise, there were only 15 people in the 100+ seat facility. read more

Dined at PF Chang's for the first time in about 10+ years. The last location we went to was in Wakiki, Hawaii. Sever Isaac was nice, but it was kind of odd that he took back two fortune cookies as he was clearing our dishes. Food was mediocre - Flavor was not what I remembered. Perhaps my tastebuds have been spoiled with authentic Chinatown food? Sauce for the pork egg rolls tasted sour but not in a good way. There were 4 of us, we brought our new exchange students. First up we started with the veggie lettuce wraps and the cauliflower appetizers. Both were really well seasoned and I would recommend again. The boys shared the chicken in a spicy sauce, one of us had Mongolian beef and noodles and I had Mongolian tofu. I was excited to see the Mongolian tofu but bummed it didn't live up to my expectations. Very little sauce e which left it dry, very little green onions which is a signature ingredient and the tofu had not been marinated in any thing so the whole dish was lacking in flavor. I'd like you to high five our server and sadly did not get her name but she was awesome (Tuesday at 3:30-4) making great recommendations, paced things really smoothly and was helpful in guiding the boys in what to order. read more

We decided to go here instead of our usual Chinese restaurant. I ordered a booth which was not available and had to be cleaned, so we waited. The hostess sat us but no server came by to greet us or take our order. I went back to the desk after 10 minutes. She asked where we were sitting, I reminded her just sat us. She asked where. What!? Finally a server came with no greeting no name. I asked for iced tea and there was hardly any ice. I had to ask for a glass of ice. We ordered the Chef Special which was brought by a very efficient and friendly food runner. The food was good. Nice portions. The server we had to flag down for more beverages, she did not even ask how our meals were. She did come back while we were eating our main dish and ask if wanted desserts. We hadn't finished eating our main dishes. We said no desserts and she left and brought back the bill before we were done eating. The empty plates were not taken off they table. Big pet peeve of mine. I worked in food service and I cant believe this was the service we received. I did not see a manager on the floor. The restaurant was not even that busy. Alot of empty tables. Why was the service so bad? PF Changs has a great reputation. My review is for food, flavors and portions 8 out 10. Wait Service was deplorable 2 out 10. Stopped in for lunch mid week. It was pretty empty, but we were in before noon. They carry a number of drink choices, beer, wine etc. The wine pour(fill level) was decent. We had the chicken & broccoli, and the Chang's Spicy Chicken. Both were very good, and large portions made it very filling. My wife saved some of hers, I powered through and finished mine. But I was a bit full. They did not do the hot sauces on the table as they used too. Too bad that was fun before. Also, no fun origami fold on leftover bag, which is no longer paper and now plastic. We've always heard great things about P.F. Chang's and finally decided to try it as a family for my birthday. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of the hype. We had a 4:00pm reservation on a Sunday for a party of six. Even though we arrived on time and saw plenty of open tables, we still waited about 15 minutes to be seated -- which should have been our first sign. Our server, Floyd, was pleasant, but it took around 10 minutes before he first came to our table, and after letting us know he'd be right back, the service continued to be slow throughout the evening. We ordered appetizers and sushi, which were actually good. But our main dishes took a long time to come out and were lukewarm at best. We also waited too long for drinks, and I was never asked if I wanted another cocktail. I had noted in the online reservation that we were celebrating my birthday, but that was never acknowledged. Overall, we were disappointed. By the time issues became clear, it didn't feel worthwhile to complain because it likely would have added even more time to an already slow visit. I even tried leaving feedback through the P.F. Chang's website, but the form kept timing out, only allowed very short comments, and said someone would get back to me within a few days -- but I never heard anything. For the reputation this restaurant has and the amount of money we spent, the experience was honestly underwhelming. We expected much better for a special occasion. read more

First time here and I fell in love with this place, our server (nick/rick) was punctual and very kind. The chef's ( Alejandro ) attention to detail and presentation with the entree's and main coarse of meal showed his passion in culinary skills. I drove the 25 minutes to go there for my birthday yesterday. We made a reservation for 6:30 PM. They had me standing up to wait for my table for an hour. And I'm disabled and I just couldn't stand anymore. So we told them I couldn't stand anymore so we had to go. I had already spent my birthday entirely alone up until this point. We ended up having to drive 30 minutes to Oak Park to go to a completely different restaurant last minute which we didn't get there until 8:15 PM at night. And so I had dinner with my mom and then by the time we got home, it was almost 10 o'clock, and my mom was so exhausted from the drive and standing for an hour, that she passed out. I've never had a good adult birthday and this was supposed to be my chance. So I didn't get to have my good adult birthday. And here I am 44. P.F. Chang's really ruined my birthday and I will never go there again and I highly recommend that none of you go there ever again either. I am about to go through surgery and this might be my last birthday. So thanks P.F. Chang's for ruining what might be my last birthday. If I live long enough, I'll make sure I never eat at your restaurant again. Now here it is 6:41 AM on a Sunday. And I'm awake because I went to bed at 10 o'clock the night before. So yes, I went to bed at 10 o'clock on my birthday even though I didn't start celebrating until after 8 PM. We were so shaken up and sick by the time we landed up at the restaurant we went to after P.F. Chang's, that the night was pretty ruined. I have no words for how disappointed I am. But I'm pretty sure this is the last time I ever try to celebrate a birthday. P.F. Chang's made my miserable disabled life even more miserable. I don't recommend them!! PF Changs is consistent which is a big plus. A negative comment that I hope management hears and addresses is the patron dining experience. I understand the need to populate tables in a server's station and keep folks close to each other for ease of service. However when there are, for example, 3 groups sat in booths right next to each other in lieu of every other booth which were available. Sitting this close - when the place is fairly empty - not only makes private conversations tougher, I do not want to hear the other tables conversation. Let's put the focus back on the customer as there are so many other dining options these days including dining at home. read more

It's been some years since I dine at this location. I was in the area so I decide to drive over for some lunch. The inside of this place is very nice. Spacious dining area and a full size bar with lots of drink options. I sat near the window where you can look out and see the beautiful pond of water. My hostess Brooke was awesome and attentive. Now, the food was a different story. I ordered the Pomegranate Lemonade which was good. The chicken lettuce wrap wasn't that good and how could anyone go wrong with veggie fried rice. The seasoning was overpowering and had a weird taste to it. I couldn't even finish my food because I literally got sick on the stomach. I don't know what kind of seasoning was used on my food but it wasn't agreeing with my taste buds. Thank goodness I had a napkin at the table to spit the food out. Very disappointed with the food, first time hear and I was excited hearing good things from family members but the food wasn't spectacular at all no flavor even after adding a lot of soy sauce the beef was the best of the worst, the texture of the noodles feel weird or old. I didn't have super high expectations coming in, and the food wasn't too bad. But I'd say, relative to Panda Express...50%. Everything is 50% saltier, 50% sweeter, 50% more oily. And probably double the price. There were no dishes we ordered that were out of this world. The sea bass dish, at $30, was high quality but didn't feel worth $30. The other dishes were also expensive but pretty meh. The biggest disappointment was the crab rangoons, which had too much crab and not enough cream cheese. I do give them props for having a great online ordering system. It was easy and seamless and the food was ready on-time. The last time I went to a PF Chang was over a decade ago, in my 20s. I'll look forward to going again in my 40s. I just think they're caught in the middle - too classy to compete with Panda and not upscale enough to compete with Tao or think your upscale fusion restaurant. My day started roughly but my mom swooped in with shoe shopping and lunch-- and it turned out that David had never eaten at P. F. Chang's. Mom's tastes are not too adventurous but she loves sharing places at which she has had happy experiences -- that's the joy for her. This chain is a go-to restaurant for gluten-free family dining for us. We shared the lettuce wraps, tasty and crowd pleasing, this is always a solid choice and it's a signature dish for the chain. I usually get the shrimp with lobster sauce but today I had the Mongolian beef and was delighted with it. Mom had her favorite pad Thai. David ordered Singapore noodles. Everything was delicious. We even had dessert -- chocolate soufflé for me. I love that our server warned against the vanilla ice cream-- it is not gluten-free. The overall experience is thoughtful and consistent-- the decor is seamlessly carried through the restaurant and this adds to the pleasantness. Yes, I mean the restrooms. Too often a restaurant's restroom is a sobering jolt of too bright (unflattering) light and a jailhouse sink and mirror. Did I mention service? There was nary a blip. Wonderful lunch meal here at the oak brook location. Impressive dragon roll served in a glass bowl filled with smoke and opened as you are served. The smokiness is definitely a taste that fit perfectly with the sushi The lettuce wraps are always a winner, decided to try the vegetarian lettuce wraps for a change and it was as delicious as the chicken lettuce wraps.
