People love to act like they outgrew P.F. Chang's... until the food shows up. Then suddenly nobody's too cool for Mongolian beef. We ordered the Mongolian beef, orange chicken, and the Dynamite Roll, and honestly, everything delivered. The flavors were bold, fresh, and reminded me why this chain has been around forever. That said, I think P.F. Chang's is one of those places where quality can vary quite a bit from location to location. This downtown location got it right. I went on a weekday, and it was super empty, which meant fast, attentive service without feeling rushed. The location is convenient if you're downtown for an event. My only knock is the price. It's a little steep for the chain restaurant and sizing, so I left satisfied... but also aware that inflation apparently reached the classics. Overall, I'd absolutely come back. Great service! Not busy on tues night. They added some things to their menu so I wanted to try them out. The sushi was great and spicy. The lychee martini was good. I forgot about the cherry blossom drink otherwise I would have gotten that. The black pepper filet seemed over seasoned which is odd to say. There was a lot of crunch in every bite. Too much black pepper and sesame seeds ig. Later i found that the rice wasn't properly cooked all the way and was also crunchy so this may have also altered my taste. Our waiter was really alot if fun, and the food was hot and as expected. only concern was the drink said 8.99 on the menu but we were charged 18.99 ehen we got the bill. Food is dry, tasteless, and cool. Waiters and waitresses are sticking their fingers in the wine glasses on the table as they set the table. Placing their feet in the seats to wipe the round -booth tables. This place has lost its esteem. No manager has been seen, nor has greeted us at our table. So many changes at Circle Center Mall in recent years, however one star still shines at the downtown P.F. CHANG'S. Prior to a Saturday matinee of YULETIDE CELEBRATION we stopped in for a cocktail and appetizer. The standard old fashion and espresso martini hit the spot. The shrimp rolls came out hot and crunchy and oh so tasty. It was great to see several Michigan and Iowa fans enjoying Indy and experiencing the P.F. CHANG location. I'm sure they did us proud. First of all, the food showed up cold. The rice was hard. Look at the size of the bowl, less than half of the bowl is full. There was a quarter cup of cooked rice. 6 to 8 slivers of beef, and what looks like about three green onions that were chopped up on top. But even with that, the bowl isn't even half full. I've ate at P.F. Chang's, their portion size in person is much better than this, and the food is fresh. That is not what I received. When I reached out to customer service regarding the matter, I was told there was nothing that could be done. I definitely don't recommend this to anyone. This is a $22 dinner. This isn't a lunch combo, this is an appetizer. However, I was not even given a dinner size portion. This is unacceptable. read more

My sister and I were downtown for the Eras Tour and were in desperate need to have a quick dinner before the concert. P.F. Chang's had the shortest waitlist (~20 minutes), so we decided to stay for dinner. In order to save time, we specified that it was ok to sit at the bar, and we were seated immediately. I've never ha P.F. Chang's before, but knew that it was a similar quality to Cheesecake Factory, but Asian-inspired. We ordered the tempura green beans, shrimp dumplings, and the dynamite shrimp. We appreciated that the food was out within 15 minutes since we were in a bit of a rush. The food itself wasn't *too* special, but they had generous portions that kept us full for the entire night. I wish their menu wasn't filled with so many fried dishes, as I feel this takes away from the authenticity of typical Chinese food. Our bartender was polite and attentive. He did a great job considering how many customers were at the bar and he was the only bartender for his shift! I know working a busy weekend can be stressful but he was amazing! read more

I am very disappointed with P.F. Chang's. We love this place and recently both times we went, the food was not good and we felt sick the next day. Both times we ask for the food to be really spicy and it comes out bland. The chicken pad Thai had a strong fish sauce taste (we didn't know it had it) and was extremely sweet. We had food catered from here for a work event and the options on the catering menu for individual meals are very limited, and only include chicken and beef dishes, but the sesame chicken with brown rice was good and a perfect lunch portion. The chicken was still crispy even after delivery, and the broccoli was fresh and nicely cooked. The vegetarians in our group were able to write "substitute tofu" in the special instructions section, and actually did get tofu rather than chicken or beef. I'm not sure why they don't have at least a couple of vegetarian options for individual meals, but at least this strategy workedM. Our order arrived about 30 minutes earlier than requested, but stayed warm until we were ready for lunch. For smaller groups it's probably better to just do carryout rather than catering if you'd like more choices. read more

Restaurant chains are a bit of a different animal and my evaluations tend to focus more on how well each location executes on living up to the expectations for the brand. After all, there isn't going to be a different menu in each venue nor is there likely to be any surprises in terms of format or pricing. This particular location for PF Chang's meets the standard but isn't anything special. We had the General Tso's Chicken and Sweet and Sour Chicken here. Both were tasty, although the fried rice was a bit dry. Service was spot-on but not exceptional either. First time visiting indianopolis and went here for lunch because we haven't had PF Changs in forever. Let's just say I'm not mad that I haven't been in a while. We could've just ordered Chinese food for cheaper, and it would've tasted 10x better. The flaming filet mignon wonton were fun to look at but the taste wasn't there at all. I was so dissapointed. I had to saturate the wonton in the sauce to get any kind of flavor. The short rib was okay but the pineapple fried rice was just weird. It was too sweet, and the only flavor was the pineapple. We came to P.F Chang (Keystone Crossing) for Valentine's Day, last minute reservations because some other plans didn't work out. We ordered our drinks: Water with lemons and sweet tea, waitress left came back with unsweetened tea, so we asked for some sugar packets. She came back with some sugar packs that had some sticky stuff on them, so much that I had to go and rewash me hands. We had to wait until she came to take our order that is when we let her know about the packs and can we get some clean ones. The waitress leaves took even longer to came back; she sat the sugar on the table then walked away. After sitting there, patiently... she never came back after 20 min ! There were other waiters and even bartenders looking at us and did nothing!! I had to go find the Manager and explained to him what just happen. He was nice enough to stop what he was doing just to come and take our order which was at this time, 30 min before closing and we been there since 9pm. The same waitress was walking pass our table to help others; we overheard her talking to another guest explaining to them why she wasn't waiting on us. P.F. Chang is my daughter's Favorite restaurant. We have come to this location several times for birthday celebrations, Mother's Day, date night or just to order take out. For it to be 2026, Racism being on the forefront like it has been, is mind blowing and unexpectable. I am still not Happy after 3 days. Although the manager was nice and even compensated us for our bill, it still doesn't change our experience, and it was done in front of my daughter who is at college student learning about slavery and what took place in those days. I feel we were racial profiled by this lady. I am very disturbed that P.F. Chang has people working for them and has people there who feel if they don't want to server someone, they don't have too. I want to love this location so much but it's a nightmare. PFCs is my favorite restaurant chain because of the gluten free options. I'm also a P.F. Chang's Platinum Member so we eat here (or at some location) at least monthly. My husband refuses to eat at the restaurant and doesn't even want to do take out because it's so difficult to get the order done correctly or timely. The food is always tasty if we can actually get it (once I ordered the Mongolian Beef and was given the Beef with Broccoli TWICE - initial pickup and then again when they redid the order). I know they are short staffed, but it is really affecting the quality of the food and my ability to get to eat here. The team does work hard and generally is doing the best they can. Not sure if they cannot or will not hire more people. This is my closest location so it's a real bummer to have to leave a negative review. read more

One of my favorite chain restaurants. Always reliably good food. I usually go with the Mongolian beef and the fried rice. This time I also went with the crispy honey shrimp. Delicious. The chicken lettuce wraps, the ribs, the fried wontons, everything, is good. I've not ever ordered something and didn't enjoy it. The wait staff is exceptional. The Mongolian beef was dry and chewy like jerky and there was MAYBE a half cup of meat (no sauce) on the dry bland brown rice; the shrimp and chicken on the Singapore noodles was also dry, chewy, and maybe a half cup of both meats combined (I didn't get the extra sauce on the side that I'd ordered, either; the chicken lettuce wraps have always been my favorite there, but they are now bland and the "sauce" that came in a cup with it just tasted like watered-down soy sauce; the kids meal of honey chicken was just dry fried chicken chunks and totally bland; the fried rice tasted ok but again the chicken in it was dry little chunks and there was barely any in it. It had been a really long time since we'd eaten at a P.F. Chang's and decided to have our anniversary dinner at the downtown Indianapolis location. Social distancing was still in effect but we were able to get seated at the bar. The wait staff was very attentive and we were able to order off the regular menu. I had the Singapore Street Noodles, which were tossed in a light sauce and sautéed with veggies. Good flavors and a nice portion size. I might have taken the heat level up a bit, but that's more of a personal preference and not a negative toward the entree. Had to scan for the menu which I don't really care for, but I know a lot of places have moved to that. Got the agave margarita to start and it was great. A little sweet and still tart. Perfect size nice line garnish rather than the wimpy ones you sometimes get. It was pretty expensive, but it wax good. Of course got the lettuce wrap app! This P. F. Chang's does not deserve the bad reviews. The food was pretty good, (I got the orange chicken) but there were peppers that were plasticky and inedible. The chicken alone was moist and had a good ratio with the breading to the chicken. The rice was good and was incredibly moist, but not soggy. My only complaints about the service is the lack of coming to the table for the check or for refills. He was really nice, just was not present. The restaurant was empty, which was kind of odd, but from my viewing of other reviews, I see it is a common thing. We did get seated right away, and got our drinks in efficiently. They give you chopsticks. I recommend coming here if you want good atmosphere, pretty decent food, and you are in the mood for some Asian food. read more

She was friendly and attentive to minor changes to the food ordered. The won ton soup hit the spot but the lettuce cups were fantastic and flavorful. No problem .They do have a kids menu. Chicken fried rice with veggies or fruit came with a drink and ran about $5.Portion size was enough for older children too. I had been craving sushi so I settled on the dynamite roll. I added a cup of egg drop soup and crispy green beans for the table. I also ordered the dragon oolong tea. I can never get enough of this food. Being a rewards member is certainly helpful with ringing me back time and time again to redeem my free entrees and dim sums. ;) The only negative I have about this location, is every time I have made a reservation in advance, there has been a complication. Either they don't have the reservation; had it for the wrong day; or set at the wrong time. Thankful though we have always still been able to be seated. I was also told to "make reservations through the website itself or over the phone to be more reliable otherwise reserving through third parties are treated as "call ins" and can get lost." My favorite is by far the lo mein which I typically split with my husband and the crispy honey chicken. We will usually also order an appetizer of lettuce wraps and the dim sum crab wontons.
