Went to Changs for the first time in quite a while since they lost my business by taking the popular Sesame Chicken off the menu. I was delighted to see that my complaints weren't alone and they brought it back!!! I guess I'll be coming in more often now. I do get other things like the pepper steak, Mongolian beef, or Kung Pao, from time to time but the consistency and almost always well prepared sesame chicken makes it hard to beat especially on the lunch menu. P.F. Chang's used to be a great place to have dinner, but since they have gone "corporate " the menu is so limited now and the quality has diminished. We usually have the pork dumplings and they used to come to the table sizzling hot with plenty of sauce to dip them in. Now, they come hidden in a bowl with little to no sauce, I asked about the lack of enough sauce and the waiter said "well that's how they come now..." I asked for some more sauce and they provided us with it but it was cold and way too spicy. The hot plate that they use to use kept the dumplings nice and warm but they were cold by the time we got them. It seems that the corporate has opted for making the menu to focus on hot spice rather than flavor. The service was not attentive as it used to be, the staff used to provide "to go boxes" and they would take your plate and fill the boxes for you, now, drop off the boxes and walk away. I hope they make some changes because there are options in the Chinese food market. read more

I have to qualify this 3 star review - it really is a 2 star review with an extra star because PF Changs has an extensive Gluten Free Menu and really does a great job of offering GF options. OK, so here it is. The hubby and I have never liked PF Changs (it just never thrilled us). We have lived next to this one for 2.5 years and today is the first time we stepped in the place, but we did so because of the gluten free items (the hubby has to be GF because of allergies, so we have to choose wisely now). The good: They have a whole back menu from apps to dessert that is gluten free! Score. They even offer gluten free soy sauce. Wow. Major plus. And the food was tasty, no weird flavors (if you have eaten gluten free you know what I mean). Not to mention I always like it when I can order brown rice. Unfortunately, the good ends there. The bad: Service was terrible. We were seated at a table and forgotten for 10 minutes until a random waitress asked if we had been helped and finally took our drink and food order (since we had so much time to decide and we had her we figured we should put both in). Then we waited for at least another 5 minutes for drinks. The food came out 5 minutes after that...so we got our food faster than drinks essentially. Wow, how crappy do you have to be to do that. Then we had to flag down people to get a refill. The food itself was tasty, but nothing that would bring me back, plus the portions are small. Oh and as we left, 3 hostesses were at the front and not one said thank you or even good bye. Jeez, not really pulling me back in. Bottom line: We will probably come back because of the gluten free options, but we might opt for take out and not dine in. read more

This location on Aurora was not the best of dining experiences The patio area was cluttered,dirty and closed when we arrived. We were seated promptly in the main dining area. This location is quite smaller than Park Meadows which didn't give you that intimate dining experience. It was very loud inside, music and people. My other half had a hard time hearing me so I walked over to the bar, it was quieter for sure. By the time I got back our food was being delivered to the table. Oh well. My Buddas delight was not flavorful as the one I had at the other location. It was bland but Sriracha sure helped a bit. My guy ordered the Won Ton soup. It looked brown, not a clear broth that we're used to seeing. He told me the chicken inside was tasteless and fir a tureen meant to serve 4 or more he found only three wontons inside. I asked for additional ones and I'm not sure what happened. Our server told us twice he'd grab them for him, but I guess it wasn't important to him as they came way after we both were done eating and the dishes had been cleared. After paying we walked to the bar, enjoyed a drink before leaving. Not exactly the ideal Anniversary dining experience I was hoping for. Will we be back to this location? No. read more

My wife has Celiac disease so going out to eat is not easy for us. This is one of a handful of restaurants we know she will not have to worry about what she eats. The staff is courteous and friendly. Combined that with the fact the food is always excellent and this is an easy 5 stars. read more

Ambience: Have been here several times and always felt like this was a quality restaurant until last evening for a special occasion dinner for an out of town guest. Upon entering, the atmosphere is gloomy and the greeter seemed sad. Servers as well for that matter. NO ENERGY in this establishment Service: Ok but definitely not angling for a good tip. Food: ALL of our food was lukewarm to cold with exception of sushi under cover and the place just wasn't that busy at 6pm. Since my wife was craving Egg Drop Soup after her dental treatment this evening (she has to eat a soft diet for a week) we stopped here to place a to-go order. The server (Coban) was very nice/professional. I decided to order the appetizer Northern-Style 5 spice Pork Spare Ribs because I haven't had 5 spice ribs in a long time. The order took about 25 minutes. We arrived home about 15 minutes later, the soup was hot and delicious. Now those ribs were not only looked dried and I do mean dry and tasted like they looked with a good 5 spice flavor. I am sure they were braised as advertised, but it was apparent that they had been sitting for sometime outside of the braising liquid, slightly reheated and tossed in a to-go container to fill my order. Extremely poor representation of a good 5 spice rib. The packs of soy sauce in the bag helped a little, but just a little. I know my ribs because I am a certified BBQ judge who has sampled many on the circuit and prepared many 5 spice ribs at home. Tonight I can honestly say I just threw away $16, these were nasty. I would have taken them back; however, we live about 15-20 minutes away and I needed to get my wife home so she could rest from the dental procedure. read more

I've went for take out and it was packed. I called in the order and was on hold forever. I had to call back as I thought they forgot about me. The menu online is not what they actually have so please take note. It took a little time for the food as they were really busy and most local Chinese restaurants are closed on Monday. The food was as expected. However I believe they portion size is smaller with take out. Lettuce wraps are a staple and delicious , orange chicken and fried rice. Was surprised to know they didn't have the "surf and turf". The staff was friendly but busy and a few typical teenagers that didn't seem happy to be working. Oh my goodness please do not ignore the negative reviews. I totally wanted $30 on a horrible meal. I ordered the crispy honey chicken and there was nothing crispy about it. It was soggy, cold and stuck together. The apple crunch dessert was not fresh and tasted old. I am completely disappointed as pre-pandemic I loved their food. I was very disappointed in the food quality, it was ok to taste but the amount was small for the price. I ordered two appetizers and broccoli and beef dish with fried rice two beers it came to 70.00 not worth the money also they charge 5.00 extra for fried rice but they don't tell you it's a upgrade. Great for large groups! We showed up with 11 people for the "happy hour" dinners and ordered a few regular stuff off the menu. We only paid $250 with tip for 11 guests. Our server was very sweet and accommodating with our last minute plans. We ordered five Lettuce Wraps, 2 orders of Fried Wontons, Pan Fried, Egg Rolls, Cauliflower, Orange Chicken , 3 Sesame Chicken, 1 Fried Rice, Noodles, Ceasar Salad and a large Wonton Soup and Drinks for all. Typical PF Changs chain. We always get the chicken lettuce wraps because they are the best thing on the Change menu IMO. This time they were just OK, very salty as I think the sauce spilled on the dish during delivery. What happened to them making the sauce at you table anyhow they weren't their normal greatness and we actually didn't devour the whole thing like usual. Also had hot & sour soup because it was snowing out and needed the heat. Husband had the sweet & sour chicken and it was just warm and already starting to get soggy as it hit the table like it had sat in the pass waiting to come out. We placed our first covid curbside order. There are some glitches in the system as to where to park and the website is not specific. With that being said, the food was amazing times two!! But after reading all the bad reviews & yet having a good experience here today with my husband, I thought I ought to. The food was good, the service was good, the atmosphere was also good. Bethany was extremely friendly, she was attentive but not overly in our business & she didn't miss a beat. Everything came out as ordered & everything was tasty. I had the duck, which was absolutely gorgeous & delicious. I also had the hot & sour soup & we got some pan fried shrimp dumplings as an app. All delicious. My husband had the orange chicken & fried rice & enjoyed them both. I'm really unclear why so many people had such a terrible experiences here recently, but we had quite the opposite. This P.F. Chang's location is great! The food was perfect, the service was quick and attentive, and the vibe inside is calming, so a perfect spot to have dinner after a long day at work! My husband and I went here for dinner he got the Surf and Turf while I had the Mongolian Beef. Both dishes were packed with flavor and were finished pretty quickly! The only disappointment was the Crab Cheese Wontons , we were really craving them but they were out so we ordered the Mongolian Potstickers instead. DO NOT! I do not recommend ordering the crab wontons. I ordered last night. Pictures below. The meat was rotten. When I called they stated that it was made "fresh" and that it was just the sourcing of the meat that was different. The food was rotten. When you opened the container it smelled like ammonia. I haven't been to a PF Chang's in years. Now I live close to this one at Southlands Mall in Aurora. I ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wrap as my entree. The server mixed the hot mustard and hot chili paste in a light soy sauce mixture. My husband ordered the Dan Dan Noodles. His entree actually went really well as the filling of my lettuce wrap. The entree was supposed to be spicy so my husband used some of my sauce We will be back. read more

I can't deny my love for P.F. Chang's. The happy hour is my happy place. I always get the chicken lettuce wraps which are the perfect compliment to a heavier dish like orange chicken or tempura cauliflower. I've ordered both dishes at this location and they've been consistently good. The egg drop soup, however, leaves something to be desired. Overall I'm happy with the food and will be back. read more
