We ordered the ribs, which used to come out smoked, again served cold, over sauced. Our kiddo ordered the chicken teriyaki, served cold and over sauced, terrible! Even the rice was bad , tasted like it was overcooked, burnt and hard bits. The only thing we ordered that tasted good was the edamame! We will not return and I will be writing a letter to their corporate offices, the poor food quality is NOT acceptable and seriously damaging to their brand. My wife and I went to PF Chang's for Mother's Day . We got there early right after they opened and our server was Sam who was very helpful and provided excellent service to us . At that time of the day the the atmosphere was calm and pleasant as we were in a booth. We both felt the food was excellent. I've been going to PFC since first introduced to my HT of Albuquerque in something like the 90's. I'm an expert on PFC diner and this one is my all time favorite. It's close to my casa too, so that's great. Warning: It gets busy at busy times. Of course you can be ignored and forgotten, it happens. But stay true to your crew and eventually they will notice you. The food is PFC consistent (although serving sizes are shrinking via shrinklation like everything else) - but if you want to make sure you get GREAT service with your consistently good food the next time you drop by, TIP YOUR SERVER PEOPLE - appropriately or even more. They aren't doing this as a service to humanity. They are trying to pay rent and put food on the table too. I stopped in for the amazing happy hour specials. Josh at the bar was a delight as always. The food was top notch. The vibes were great except for the two, clearly intoxicated women in the bar. The one nurse was at least self aware and tried to help her friend. The "army general" became extremely belligerent and embarrassed herself in front of customers and the manager. It was unbecoming of a CONSULTANT to the national guard general, not a general. It was easy to google because of how LOUD they had become. I have gone to or ordered from PF Chang's once every couple of years and each time I do I remember why I don't go there very often. My favorite local Chinese had closed down so this was my only local option. I ordered a 3 course meal for two that was advertised for $20 per person but deviating from the most basic menu added cost in every area. Fried race was an extra $5 plus a few other things brought it up to over $50. Delivery for less than two miles away was $15 plus a $5 tip where it was free with a tip at the old place. So over $70 for 2. The EggDrop soup was fine, nothing special. Wontons ($3 extra) were ok but have had better just about anywhere. Spicy breaded chicken was soggy. Spice was fine. The Beef Low Mein was slightly better. If this was the last place on Earth I would go here otherwise just about any Chinese place was better and cheaper. read more

They have taken chicken noodle soup off the menu- which is one reason I have not been to P.F. Changs in almost two years. They are offering Dim Sum but not a huge selection. My guest had to ask several times for her beverage and it set empty after that-she also never offered to warm my hot tea. Dynamite Shrimp was dynamite!! I tried the Dim Sum and it was good. I ordered the lobster dumplings. My guest had the Mongolian Beef which is always awesome. Food is awesome. Staff could use a boost and Chicken Noodle Soup should be put back on the menu. We hadn't been to PF in a couple of years and my husband was feeling like some Asian food, so I threw out the suggestion that we stop in there for lunch. The place was fairly busy when we arrived. We were still seated right away however. The atmosphere is great. I love the feeling and decor of the open restaurant. The electronic menu had pictures of almost everything which helped me pick what I wanted. I went with the chicken lo mein. It was nice portion and had a great flavor. The only thing was it was a little dry. I added some soy sauce and that helped it. Beers are expensive but good choices. I got to try a beer that I have never had before. Overall the food is good, even though they are a bit pricey. Still a good place to enjoy every once in a while. read more

P.F. Chang's is always excellent. The food quality is wonderful and very flavorful. The menu has a very good variety of items. The dynamite shrimp is my favorite. They have a good rewards program, so make sure you sign up before you go. It is a wonderful place to go with girlfriends because they have lots of appetizers you can share with each other. I ordered takeout tonight for Orange Chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup. Customer service was great when I picked up my order but the food was not good at all. Fried rice had no flavor at all , it was very bland. The chicken just tasted like the batter it was cooked in with a hint of orange sauce. Egg drop soup wasn't bad but tasted more like chicken noodle soup instead, maybe because the base is different from others I have tried before. Okay I am done giving this restaurant another chance. Every single time you fail to get my takeout order correct. I even call and ask to speak with someone directly to make sure they see the note about NO MUSHROOMS. And yet my last 5 or 6 orders still all included mushrooms. The worst part is how bad the cook is at this place. That or the chain in general has gone completely downhill. This used to be my favorite restaurant in the world. I worked at one for 2 and a half years and constantly bragged about how amazing the food is. But what in the YUCK happened?! Everything from here is so nasty now. Panda Express is probably better now and cheaper too. The dumplings which used to be my favorite are now soooo expensive, teeny tiny and flavorless! All the meat dishes are so much breading with goopy slop sauce on top. The lomein is dry and flavorless. Just absolutely disgusting-all of it. This makes me soooo sad. P.F. Chang's used to be a great place to have dinner, but since they have gone "corporate " the menu is so limited now and the quality has diminished. We usually have the pork dumplings and they used to come to the table sizzling hot with plenty of sauce to dip them in. Now, they come hidden in a bowl with little to no sauce, I asked about the lack of enough sauce and the waiter said "well that's how they come now..." I asked for some more sauce and they provided us with it but it was cold and way too spicy. The hot plate that they use to use kept the dumplings nice and warm but they were cold by the time we got them. It seems that the corporate has opted for making the menu to focus on hot spice rather than flavor. The service was not attentive as it used to be, the staff used to provide "to go boxes" and they would take your plate and fill the boxes for you, now, drop off the boxes and walk away. I hope they make some changes because there are options in the Chinese food market. read more

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants and I have yet to have a bad experience here. We had the pork egg rolls, Mongolian beef bowl, the Korean Bibimbap, and the lobster avocado roll. It was all delicious and the service was great. We felt bad for our server though because he had about 14 tables he was serving and was running around like crazy. He kept his composure very well though and did great. Always checked on us and our food came out really quick. The egg rolls were great and super crispy and hot. All of our meals were great as well. Super flavorful and pipping hot when they came out. I love this location and will come back soon. read more

I had a bad experience years ago at a different location and was hesitant in coming to any other location. I'm so glad I gave this place another try. I made reservations online on their website, very smooth process. When I arrived it was pretty busy and I was seated within 5 minutes of my reservation. Our drink orders were taken right away . I tried one of their signature cocktails, The Rising Dragon. My friend had a Mai Tai. Juan was our sever and he was amazing . If you get Juan as your server, you won't be disappointed, he was attentive from beginning to end. As I sipped my drink I looked over the simple menu and ordered the sampler appetizer tower. I went ahead and put in my entree order as well. It wasn't too long before our appetizers were served and as those were finished our entrees came. Everything tasted just fine and the dishes were large enough for me to have extra to take home. We ordered chocolate cake that 3 of us shared and 3 shared the pineapple ice cream and banana egg roll dessert . It was a great dinner with wonderful service. One of the best happy hours in Denver. Honestly, I don't like Chinese food, but this is more modern and diverse. Great Happy Hour.... everything in the range of $4.00, $5.00 and $6.00 bucks. You can find anything that matches your taste on this short menu. Service was quick and our server was excellent. Smiling, welcoming and had some great recommendations. I really like coming here for dinner with a group, but expect to pay more and share. One high point, that wasn't on the happy hour menu were the dry Chinese short ribs. They were delicious and the dry rub was recommended by our server. I see why P.F. Changs stands above the rest in the Asia food market. read more

Last night was my first visit to PF Changs in a couple of years. I was not disappointed! I don't generally go out of my way to visit chain restaurants. When I go out to eat, I like to try out new, local, places as much as possible. But I had a small stack of PF Chang's gift cards and a taste for Chinese food, so off we went! Despite making an online reservation, there was a small wait when we arrived. But just shy of 10 minutes after our reservation time, we were seated. Our waitress did a fantastic job. She had excellent suggestions and tended to our needs quickly throughout our meal. She was knowledgeable, upbeat, and quick on her toes. I noticed that sometime since our last visit they had divided the menu up a little bit differently. The appetizers have been separated into a couple different categories. But I was still able to order lettuce wraps, potstickers, and crab wontons. I was really excited to try the avocado egg rolls, but they were sold out of those. Incidentally, I almost ordered dumplings rather than potstickers, which my husband hates. Luckily, our waitress was asking lots of questions to make sure we got what we wanted, and helped us catch our error before we ordered the wrong thing! The restaurant forgot to give us silverware rolls, and unfortunately no one noticed/we didn't point it out until our appetizers had already been delivered. But our waitress was on it, and within 90 seconds, someone in the back had rolled up three sets of hot-out-of-the-dishwasher silverware and brought them out to our table. The place was absolutely packed, we picked the height of the dinner hour on a Saturday night. But despite all of that and a little bit of confusion, our waitress handled our dining experience perfectly. She was incredibly friendly, and definitely on it! As usual, the food was really good. My son really enjoyed the Budda bowl, and the flavors were definitely on point. My husband got the surf and turf, which, oddly, had potatoes in it. I can understand that they would want to add some 'filler' when the rest of the dish is filet mignon, shrimp and lobster. But potatoes? It was definitely a strange addition to the dish. We're paying damn near $30 for one entree, throw a few more shrimps in there! I ordered the crispy honey shrimp, and of course it was absolutely out of this world. The appetizers and entrees were so delicious, we just couldn't stop there. Our server recommended that we try the only in-house made dessert: the fried banana egg rolls, served with fresh fruit sorbet/ice cream. I went ahead and went for a classic: cheesecake with fresh fruit. Again, delicious! Y'all lost a star for a couple of missteps here and there, but overall it was a fantastic dining experience! It really says something to maintain such a high level of service the busiest night of the week. The food was excellent, and was only surpassed by the service!! Went to Changs for the first time in quite a while since they lost my business by taking the popular Sesame Chicken off the menu. I was delighted to see that my complaints weren't alone and they brought it back!!! I guess I'll be coming in more often now. I do get other things like the pepper steak, Mongolian beef, or Kung Pao, from time to time but the consistency and almost always well prepared sesame chicken makes it hard to beat especially on the lunch menu. Since my wife was craving Egg Drop Soup after her dental treatment this evening (she has to eat a soft diet for a week) we stopped here to place a to-go order. The server (Coban) was very nice/professional. I decided to order the appetizer Northern-Style 5 spice Pork Spare Ribs because I haven't had 5 spice ribs in a long time. The order took about 25 minutes. We arrived home about 15 minutes later, the soup was hot and delicious. Now those ribs were not only looked dried and I do mean dry and tasted like they looked with a good 5 spice flavor. I am sure they were braised as advertised, but it was apparent that they had been sitting for sometime outside of the braising liquid, slightly reheated and tossed in a to-go container to fill my order. Extremely poor representation of a good 5 spice rib. The packs of soy sauce in the bag helped a little, but just a little. I know my ribs because I am a certified BBQ judge who has sampled many on the circuit and prepared many 5 spice ribs at home. Tonight I can honestly say I just threw away $16, these were nasty. I would have taken them back; however, we live about 15-20 minutes away and I needed to get my wife home so she could rest from the dental procedure. read more
