if i could rate it lower i would. when we first walked in the service was fine. the waitress was very nice. we ordered our food and about 30 minutes after ordering she came around to the table and told us that our food was going to be a little later than expected. then an hour passed. then the waitress said that the entrees were on the house. we decided if it didn't come by 7:15 we were leaving. then at 7:13 she came around to our table again and said our order was next to come out. then we saw multiple orders go to other tables. then we said if it doesn't come by 7:30 we are walking out. she came to our table at 7:29. the food was not worth the wait whatsoever. you might as well just have gotten the pre-packaged meal from the grocery store. don't recommend. read more

Savannah was our server, it took us 20 minutes to even get acknowledged, mind you it's NOT busy what so ever at 3:20... 10 extra minutes to get our drinks, we ordered as soon as we got a server. We received our appetizers after we finished eating, she never apologized. She proceeded to tell me that they were "unloading a food truck" and had to make "everything from scratch" at 3:30? Doubtful, and 5 minutes later she brought out our appetizers, that were luke warm. Went in with 7 people early on a Sunday for a birthday dinner and had an awful experience! Took forever for our server to greet us. Took an insanely long time to get our food and one item was forgotten and finally came out just as the rest of us were finishing up. Food runner was playing with her hair and then serving food and even saw her hair on trays she was carrying with meals. YUCK!!! I get that places are short staffed and I'm normally very understanding, but the service and nasty hair issue was way beyond staffing issues and straight to incompetence! We ordered $145 worth of food and the Mongolian beef took forever to chew. The chicken fried rice had no flavor. Kudos to management here. We were traveling cross country and the family visiting suggested Changs. We made a reservation...that got lost. Tired from traveling, hungry, and generally peeved that the hostess did not seem to care, I unloaded on the "operating partner" (I believe this is Changs code for the General Manager). He was very kind, ridiculously patient and got us sat quickly. After this hiccup, the experience was fantastic. The manager checked back constantly, dedicated to making sure we were happy. We spent much of dinner discussing how rare it is to find hospitality folks working so hard to recover from a small mistake. All in all, it was a four star experience - we showed up expecting a table and was told it would be a 30 minute wait. But, the staff's efforts to make things right earns then that fifth star. To those that have left bad reviews...talk to management, give them the feedback and they will make it right! read more

First time at the Southglens location, as I normally dine at Park Meadows PF Chang's. I have to say it was close to a perfect 5!! We were sat right away with no reservations, had our waiter within 2 mins offering drinks and to answer any questions. He was fabulous!! Cannot remember if he said his name but was very attentive & never stayed to far for our add ons. We had the filet mignon new fish, pork fried rice, crab wontons, fried egg rolls. Also for liquor the warm sake was great per my boyfriend and I had the sangria and it was amazing. Great job & we will be back again. read more

Clerks need MUCH more training. Doing take out, showed him my email from PF Chang's for a free noodles and prawns with an entree order. Instead he charged my free entree reward that I instead could have used next visit. I'm out $15.00 on the order. And I had to ask for the receipt so I could check if he had given me proper credit, which I got AFTER he had already charged my credit card. Undertrained staff is going to kill this chain. This would be a 2 star review if they didn't have such an extensive gluten free menu. We walked in and were seated and were promptly ignored for 10 minutes until a random waitress asked if someone else had come taken our drink order yet. She took it and about 5 minutes or so later someone finally came back with it and took our order. The food was decent, but the service definitely sucked. As we were leaving there were 3 or 4 hostesses yakking it up at the entrance and not one of them even acknowledged our existence as we left. A standard, busy, P F Chang's, complete with giant horse out front. Located at the front of Southlands Mall, it's definitely hard to miss. The inside has the usual decor, which I enjoy, but am not sure how the full wall Chinese mural matches with the log-cabin decor. We were seated right away at 6pm on a Sunday, despite it looking like every table was taken. Our waitress quickly arrived to take our drinks and was kind enough to come back shortly after we had actually had a chance to open our menus. Drinks were ordered and not delivered for about 10 minutes. Our order was taken about 15 minutes after that, though thankfully the food was quick to arrive. We had their prix fixe menu special, which appears to be a great deal. To start, we had the hot and sour soup. There are lots of chicken and mushrooms in the bowl, which made every spoonful delicious. Depending on how many leftovers you would like from the evening, I would recommend a 1/2 cup full as that's still tons. As an appetizer we had the chicken lettuce wraps. These are always a favorite and it's extremely hard to finish them. I enjoy the sauce that the servers mix for you, though find it always just drips on to my plate. When we asked to package up the leftover filling, our server came back with a Ziploc bag of extra lettuce for us to continue the feast. For entrees, we had the Mongolian beef and the almond and cashew chicken. You get your choice of white or brown rice and are sure to go home with leftovers for another full meal. I've also tried their Cantonese shrimp and found that to be wonderful. Their list of entrees for you to choose from is quite extensive, though doesn't offer many vegetarian choices. And dessert. You get your choice of a small shot glass of dessert, with 10 kinds to choose from. I had the lemon meringue and with layers of graham crumbs, lemon curd, and whipping cream, it was the perfect end to the meal. Expect to leave quite full, whether you go for this meal deal or order a la cart. I want to preface this review by saying that I have eaten at PF Changs not only across Colorado but also across a lot of the country and pretty consistently this PF Changs has proven to have some of the worst service amongst all locations that I've been to. more often than not I get the food to go but time and again it is proven to be a complete hassle to not only get someone's attention to help me but also get them to give me my food on time. For example I was in earlier tonight to pick up my to go order and was told to go to the bar to pick up the food. The poor bartender was not only working the entire bar area as a bar tender and a server but also was working food pickup while quite a few of his coworkers stood behind the host stand or talked with their friends at a table. I still like their food but management should address streamlining their service issues. Also on a possibly unrelated note the food was cold when I got home. read more

As I mentioned before, we have had inconsistent service at this location. Specifically, one evening the ends of the green onions were amongst the chicken in my dish, but the waiter and manager quickly attended to the issue. Other times service and food had been excellent. We were kind of frustrated last weekend when we heard a barking dog off and on while dining. At first I thought it was someone's cell phone, but eventually we noticed someone had been allowed to bring their dog carrier into the restaurant with them. I don't mind service dogs, or puppies on patios, but I do not think it OK to allow people to bring their pets into a dining establishment. read more

We've been to this location about six times in the past 4 months. Unfortunately the service on our last visit yesterday was very lacking. It was not that crowded when we arrived but we did not mind the 10 min wait to be seated. However, once we were seated, it took about another 10 mins for our server to come to our table. She enthusiastically took our whole order for appetizers (egg rolls), main dishes, and cocktails. The main dishes were the first to arrive- in about 15 min, before the cocktails and before the appetizers. We asked the person that brought our main courses (presumably a manager) about where the appetizers were. He said he'd check. A few minutes later the server showed back up with the cocktails. We then asked her about the appetizers, to which her response was "I think we're out of egg rolls." Hmmm. If we would have been told that up front, we would have ordered something else. It was clear to us that she forgot to enter our appetizers into the system, which she later admitted to. I had ordered the Honey Crispy Shrimp (my staple), which is usually pretty consistent, but this time the shrimp were overcooked. My wife's Beef with Broccoli was okay. She then swung by the table one more time casually and asked my wife if she'd like another Mojito. My wife was drinking a Cosmo. The server then caught her mistake, and then said "I shouldn't be working today," a comment to which my wife and I silently agreed with. After my wife had finished her Cosmo (which btw was served in a champagne glass, not a cocktail glass), we noticed lipstick on the glass. My wife wasn't wearing lipstick :-/. We will probably give this place another chance, but hopefully that server will find another vocation that better suits her. read more

We tried PF Changs for the first (and last) time last night. For the prices this place charges, I was expecting a LOT more in regards to service, portions, quality, taste, and dining experience. When you spend over 40 bucks, you kind of expect it to be worthwhile. For starters, my husband ordered a margarita which came in a plain water glass with no garnish and mostly ice, for the "special happy hour" price of $6.50. Total rip off! The waitress even echoed our dismay with an embarrassed, "Yeah, our drinks aren't very cheap." For dinner we ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken and Chang's Spicy Chicken. When the server (different person than our waitress) brought out the food, we honestly did a double take. The portions were PATHETICALLY small. I was stunned for a moment. I surprised myself when I said out loud to the server, "THIS is the main dish??" (Maybe he brought us someone's appetizer by mistake?). He replied, "Yeah, it's really good!" Now, to be clear, we are NOT gluttons who pile mountains of food on our plates. It's just that each time we've dined at oriental restaurants, we've always had enough to take leftovers home. Not at this place! FOR THE PRICES - the portion sizes here are just appalling. Two "platters" (their "platter" is smaller than a dinner plate) of chicken with more plate showing than chicken and a tiny bowl of rice for each...for $30 bucks? Seriously?? Honestly, the chicken we were served looked and tasted just like the same packaged frozen stuff we buy across the street at Sam's club, except tossed with PF's sauces which, by the way, were overpowering and truly unpleasant with huge, pungent chunks of ginger and garlic all through them both. Panda Express makes better food than this place. And for 1/8 the price, too. And the service? Maybe I'm old fashioned, but what has happened to elegant dining? Are we now such a casual culture that you can't find a graceful dining experience in a "fancy" restaurant? Certainly the high prices and fancy décor at PF's were enough to make us EXPECT an elegant dining experience. But the wait staff acted like they worked at Denny's...which pretty much spoils the experience. The manager passed by our table at the end of our meal and casually asked if everything was good and I just couldn't pretend. She seemed surprised and went on and on about how good they really were (as if that would change our experience) and gave us some vouchers for a complimentary appetizer for next time. (We would have preferred a markdown on the meal.) She asked my husband, "You will try us again, won't you?" Classy man that he is, he managed a weak smile said, "Perhaps". had a good experience in the past, but not on Christmas Eve at 5 pm. ordered and the food came with both dishes for me and my wife, room temperature to cold, as if it had been sitting on a counter for ten minutes. told the waitress and she said she would have the kitchen heat it up again. it came back, soggy, as if it had been placed in the microwave oven. the Vegetables were also soggy and the onions were hard and unappetizin. I had rice served with my meal, but there was no soy sauce left in the container and I could find anyone to get it replaced. I also ran out of water and through my entire meal, I could not eat my rice and had no water to drink. We told the waitress about this and it took another ten minutes to get soy sauce and water, way after we finished. We were presented with the check and no discount was added. When I made the reservation, I told them my special occasion was a birthday and this also went unattended. P.F. Changs is a nice more formal restaurant with a dimmer ambiance and a good menu. They do have a gluten free menu that I had ordered from and the food was good however I think they have MSG in their food and am not sure if it was entirely gluten free .. I had the lettuce wraps.. And I told the waiter it was an allergy but something made me extremely sick .. I haven't been back since .. Their food is overly salty and I feel like I need gallons of water and still feel like I haven't had enough ... They are a little slow on service but are attentive .. I don't know something about the food just assent right and made me very sick so that's the primary reason for not wanting to return read more

The staff are rude, when they had an error on our to go order (they actually cancelled 1/2 of it without notifying us) and I showed up the take out attendant was combative, rude, and clearly did not care. She told me it was my fault... for placing an order that I had both confirmations for - and expecting to receive both. No appology, no I'm sorry this happened just pure aggression. Then she made me take my already made food in 1 degree weather so it's ice cold while I wait for them to make the second order. This could have been handled with an apology and notice that they mistaked the order and it would t have been a big deal. The way this was handled is the problem. Newcastle Brown Ale, frozen glass. That gets me in the door right there. Aside from carrying one of my favorite beers, PF Chang's does a pretty good job with their food too. We are repeat customers for their $39.99 dinner for two deal, which actually works out pretty well for the whole family. We have two very young kids who eat very little and a baby who doesn't factor in to the food picture yet. The meal comes with an appetizer, two cups of delicious egg drop soup, two entrees, and two deserts. This is typically enough food to feed the four of us for dinner, with boxes of leftovers to spare. Not bad, not bad at all. Lately it seems to be getting harder and harder to drop in and find a table without a long wait, so reservations are helpful. read more

I personally think this restaurant serves some of the best Asian cuisine I've had. Every time I come in I order myself some chicken lettuce wraps and they never disappoint. If you haven't tried this menu option in your lifetime, than you crazyyyyy. Last night my mom and I sat in the bar and on top of the chicken lettuce wraps, we ordered a cup of egg drop soup and hot and sour soup. They both came out hot, delicious and ready for consumption. I was super satisfied. I also ordered a red sangria, because if you know me, I order this beverage everywhere I go. I wasn't necessarily impressed with the taste of the drink. It seemed like it was missing something, but it wasn't terrible. If anything the chicken lettuce wraps made up for it. This restaurant is a little pricey by the way, so be aware of dropping a little extra for this type of cuisine when you visit. The good thing about the high pricing is that you know the food will always be good. So at least it's worth the spend. read more
