This can be a pretty invasive job if you do not know what you are doing. Matthew and his assistant (his name escapes me right now but equally respectful and nice) did an amazing job! I replaced the old plain door with a six panel door that matched the rest of the updated home. He bought the door, I supplied the paint for the wall and door that I had left over and he took it from there. In less than a day, job was finished, the door works perfectly, the drywall repaired and repainted, area spotless and overall craftsmanship perfect. Highly recommend!

Timely communication, inspection to give quote visit was professional and a quote was delivered promptly 2. Matthew does the job himself, it is not some private equity owned iPad guy type operation that outsources to someone else 3. He takes great pride in his work and it shows - after they were done, you could not tell that this was something that wasn't installed by the builder, it matched the look we wanted, to like ~100% 4. Once completed, the workspace loft area was as clean as when they started work, this is an attention to detail often overlooked by some others They weren't necessarily the cheapest quote but the quality of work and craftsmanship and delivering exactly what they promised, no fuss, no drama, is something to be cherished in this day and age Overall, highly recommend them if you have anything to be done in your home that you want looking good and professional and without regrets later Will definitely use them again for a future project

Over time, the wood started rotting and paint started peeling off. With El Niño approaching, I wanted to get this fixed. I spent several weeks researching handymen and door repair specialists. Most people I contacted wanted to completely replace both the door frame and the door itself which was quite costly. Additionally, my door and the upper jambs were still in great condition, and I didn't want to be wasteful by throwing those away. One person told me that this sort of repair was too difficult and didn't want to take it on. Ivan responded that he had fixed similar issues before and quoted me a reasonable price. Ivan arrived on time and got right to work. Something that I really appreciated was he took the time to explain step by step what he was going to do. The end result looked fantastic. He was able to replace the bottom jams, paint, and seal everything to the point where it looked like there had never been any damage in the first place. We had rain a week after the repair was done and my door jambs were bone dry the entire time. One thing I do want to note is that Ivan does have a a team that works under him. If you want Ivan specifically, you will need to request him but know that you might need to wait a little longer because he is very popular. I don't foresee having any more door issues since he did such a great job but if I ever do, I will definitely contact Ivan again.

Scheduling was straightforward, though there was a little mix-up with the date and time, so he ended up coming a bit later than planned. He was careful not to hit anything that could've caused trouble, and everything turned out solid and secure. What I appreciated most is that he got through all three projects within the budget and time frame we agreed on, which made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. I'm glad we hired him. Getting these projects done really put the final touches around our home and made the spaces feel complete.

It's humongous, heavy, and no one's touched it since it was installed in the '70s. I reached out to a few handymen on Yelp, and I liked Justin's responses and responsiveness the best. A couple of guys had said they couldn't do it, and another was very brusque in his responses. Justin was thorough and polite! He came by today, was super punctual, and tackled the problem right away.
