It wasn't until today, however, that I was prompted to write a review...For today's order, there was some sort of miscommunication, and the pickup didn't go as planned. I was deep in meetings and didn't get their multiple attempts to correct the situation while the driver was there at the pick up location. Long-story short, I was going to be charged a fee for the failed attempt; but in the back of my mind, I wasn't fully sure it was my fault (they way I placed the order?). Doesn't really matter though - we reached a stalemate, I was frustrated, and went and got a quote from another company and was about to push the button (literally), and BOOM - get a from an 818 number - thought it was someone else - picked up, and it's one of the Redline owners who had overheard the call with me. He's pleasantly (and really genuinely) calling to fix it, and get the order resolved. Classic moment where he wanted to put the customer first - keep me as a customer and move on. I get it - these guys had to pay to have someone make the trip out there, stand around for a bit, and leave empty handed...I get that. But, to me, it wasn't 100% clear that I was in the wrong (gave the wrong address, time, or the product wasn't ready, etc.), so for Redline to take the hit, and keep my business, was solid. Made my day, guys. We need more of this...I was feeling a little let down until that call came through. You'll keep my business, that's for sure.

Positively the drivers are getting the shaft when it comes to how much a customer is charged and how much the driver is paid. These kind of couier messenger companies are the ones that make a bad name for the one or two good ones that are still out there that do this type of work. Companies like Jet Delivery are fully transparent to every driver. The driver can see how much their run pays, a driver can negotiate the price with the dispatchee, the driver can ask how much a company is getting charged for that run. And this makes for very happy drivers that do a really good job. Its so sad when I hear drivers from this company say to me they do 10 or 12 pickups and deliveries a day and they're only making $600-700 a week. In this industry that is just a complete rip-off. And if you're a consumer using a company for on-demand pickups and deliveries. You get what you pay for and if drivers are not happy then you're not going to get good service.

He told me the same thing about my backdrop's resolution being to low for a huge printout, but what set him apart was that he took the time send me an email on how fix it so that he can print it. Once I fixed the image with his advice he said, "I can get that done in two days." and he delivered! I placed the order midday on a Wednesday and it was ready for pickup by 2:00PM on Friday. Pick up was seamless. He knew exactly who I was without introducing myself, he was friendly, full of personality, and so sweet. He unrolled the backdrop to show me his work and it was PERFECT! His price was cheaper than I imagined especially since this was a last minute request. Since the new owner took over, the level of professionalism and reliability has changed dramatically. My last three visits in November were all problematic. On one morning, the owner arrived about eight minutes late, and another customer was waiting with me. On the other two mornings, I arrived at 9:00 AM (their posted opening time) and the store was still closed at around 9:12 AM. I never saw the owner arrive on those days, and I eventually had to leave because I couldn't wait indefinitely. I have photos documenting these late openings. These late openings were not isolated mistakes. They formed a clear pattern over multiple visits. After failing to pick up my mail during these three visits, I stopped going in person because I could no longer trust that the business would open at its posted hours. Because of these repeated delays, I asked the new owner to confirm a 9 AM pickup time for my remaining mail. I wasn't asking for anything outside their posted business hours. I even gave a wide range of possible days. Despite that, my messages were ignored for two full business days, even though I replied within a couple of hours during their business hours. When I finally received a response, it was a single word "Monday" with no apology, no explanation, and no acknowledgment of the previous delays or missed openings. The communication was consistently cold, minimal, and unprofessional. Update: I went in on 1/26/2026 to pick up my remaining mail. The owner arrived at 8:58 AM, and I was finally able to collect everything. I asked for a one‑month refund because I was unable to access my mailbox on two separate mornings in November. I waited until around 9:10-9:12 AM both times, and the store never opened while I was there. When I requested a refund, the owner responded by saying, "I called you," even though I never spoke with her. Regardless of whether she called, the issue was that I physically showed up during posted business hours and could not access the mailbox I was paying for. The time I lost waiting outside cannot be recovered, and her response showed no understanding of that point. This experience is completely different from the reliable service I received for years under the previous owners. After 8-9 years as a customer, I ultimately decided to cancel my account because the service under the new ownership no longer meets basic expectations. Everything in this review is based on my actual experience, with photos and message timestamps to support it. I also want to note that the current 4.6 rating on Yelp was built over many years by the previous owners, George and Kay, who were consistently reliable and professional. My recent experience reflects the new ownership, not the service that earned those earlier reviews.

I can't say enough positive things about this delivery company and their staff...Awesome service...called so many local moving/delivery companies to get a quote on a last minute /urgent job i needed taken care of....there were so many bs and complicated characters i spoke with....examples.....(we will call you back..never got a call back).... (We need to see your items to give a quote, but they charge to come give a quote), how is that a free quote? Calling a company on cl, they answer with a different company name, whats that about.?....i was about to give up and try to do the job myself and i came across an ad that said family owned....so i thought i would try one last time...P&js Delivery answered on the 2nd ring, the guy that answered was calm, totally focused on what i was asking him, very quickly and thoroughly asked what i needed moved, what time was good for me, gave me a quote with a great price, told me no worries he would take care of everything, i asked him his name and title, his name was Pat and is the owner.... Within 2 hours, 2 guys showed up from P&js Delivery, had my heavy items loaded within 40 minutes which blew my mind , i thought it would've taken 3 x's that time to load and had it delivered within another 30 min..... I am so glad i called them... Everything went perfect, they are professional, prompt, well organized, well trained.... The employees reflect off of their boss obviously , they asked if i needed help with anything else, they seemed very caring with me and my furniture, they were well equipped with everything needed to move my items safely. Jonathan and his team were fantastic. We could not have had a better moving experience -- Jonathan was communicative and helpful before the day of the move, and professional, reliable, and friendly on moving day. We were in a situation where we weren't sure how many U-HAUL U-boxes we needed, and Jonathan was able to bring down an extra U-Box to San Francisco just in case (when U-HAUL originally told us there wasn't one available that day). Thanks to Jonathan's expertise and careful handling of all of our furniture, we were able to fit everything into one U-Box after all (saving us $$!). We really felt like our belongings were in great hands, which made for the least stressful moving experience we could have asked for. My son is doing a semester abroad, so we had to move his bed, dresser and a chair from Chapman to our house in Studio City, called Sunday morning at 10:30, after finding out that Uhaul, Penske and Home Depot did not have any trucks available. He said between 2-4 pm. Called me at 1:30 to confirm and was there at 2:15. Jesse loaded the truck in about 10 minutes and drove it to the house and unloaded by 3:30. The cost was about $225. which was what a truck and gas would have cost and I didn't have to do any lifting or deal with the rental people. I will definitely use them again. Total professionals, so thankful!! Pat got us all figured out over the phone, and same day service. The crew: Nate and Earl moved extremely heavy and awkward units for us up a flight of stairs that had a tight, narrow 36" landing that changed directions, and thru 3 finished doorways. The units were 32" w x 48" and 60+" tall x 260 lbs (so heavy..) The house and everything is all new, high end construction. The made it look easy, planned out their route, put blankets and protection where needed and done!! Not a single smudge mark or bump anywhere. The owner wanted to charge me for coming and assembling it, though it was their job to do it, their responsibility to assemble it after moving. Besides he wanted me to pay them for the time when they spent trying to assemble the bed and failed. At around 9 p.m. the owner Andy came mostly to pick up his employee ID. He didn't know how to assemble the bed either until I showed him YouTube video and found written instructions how to do it. They present themselves as professionals, but they are not. I spent the whole day with them. I had neither lunch nor dinner. They didn't give me even a chance to buy a sandwich. 3. After receiving money they start shouting at you and hanged up the phone. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I will stay away from them in the future.

I was moving into a unit with brand new carpet, and they were mindful to make sure they stayed on the paper I had laid out. I have never seen such hustle and dedication, all with a genuine smile the whole time! If you are looking for someone trustworthy, reliable, and hard working, you have found them! What they charge is more than fair!! While I did not ask them for any assembly (this would need to be discussed and planned out in advance to account for adequate timing), I trust they would have handled it beautifully and with care. So we decided to go with them. The day before our move we got a confirmation text that included the cell phone number of our two movers, Carlos and Omar. I appreciate the transparency. Any said they are their two best guys. I can see why, they are strong guys. The guys showed up on time and we started to load our furnishings and stuff into the truck. They expertly and very quickly loaded the truck. They even took a minute to help a person who bought our fridge. The buyer brought two small guys and a small truck - and they were struggling. Carlos and Omar went over and basically loaded it for them. When we got to our new place, the guys quickly unloaded and were very careful of everything (I was the only one who dropped a bunch of boxes). They were also able to take payment from a credit card via their phone. Convenient and secure. We've moved before. Across the country and local. This was by far the best experience. If I move again, I will pickup the phone and immediately call and get Carlos and Omar. Cheers guys.

Elena helped me and she was very helpful. The team arrived on time. Since they comprised an amazing team I need to mention their name: Leo, Francisco, Sergio and Caesar. I had no broken equipment nor torn apart sofas when they put everything back, assembled and got everything working to their functional position. A $9 credit card fee is charged, which was a surprise even if you plan to pay cash. There's also a $35 per flight of stairs fee, $65 fuel, 1 hour travel time to and from their office, and your time is rounded up at the end. This service can get pricey! We started promptly at 8am, ended at 10:30am and I ended up paying 4 full hours plus the fees.

They were able to move my dresser the following Monday. They showed up at 10am on the dot. I also appreciated that they called me when they got to my apartment entrance.
