    We have used Lightning Messenger for a lot of our courier needs at our office. However, our most…read morerecent experience with them did not go well. Our admin assistant called Lightning Messenger for a package that needed to be delivered within a 3 hour time frame. The destination from our office was about a 30 min drive. I believe it was David Sands who was responsible for the pickup. We had scheduled him to arrive at our office between 8:30-9AM. He did not arrive until 9:30AM and when he did arrive, he was extremely rude to our admin. We wanted to have a slip signed/scanned to us so that way we would have confirmation that our delivery was delivered before the deadline had passed. He argued that was beyond his duties/responsibilities and if he did have to get a slip signed, he would need to charge us extra for it! Our admin had called previously and had asked if the person delivering the package would be able to sign the slip and scan it back and whoever was on the phone had mentioned they could definitely do it but the memo did not apparently get passed to David. All he had to do was give a slip that we provided him to the person picking up the package and have them date and sign it and that was apparently too much for him to handle. After still being rude to our admin, he finally caved and said he would do it for us but only after being extremely highly unprofessional to our admin. You would think a courier service would require a time stamp for every delivery that they do and let us know the delivery was on time and delivered? Apparently Lightning Messenger does not believe in doing that unless we actually tell the courier to do it and even if we do ask, we are received with extremely rude and aggressive behavior. Additionally, what should have been a 30 min to one hour delivery ended up taking 2 hours right near the cuff of our deadline. It was still on time but not in the "lightning express" service that I expect to see from a courier service. David was rude, late and unprofessional throughout this whole experience. I would not recommend.
