They were extremely efficient in moving our furniture out of the old apartment and into the new apartment. I forgot to include a few items when I initially detailed the items that needed to be moved, however, Kosta (and his colleagues Victor and John) were extremely accommodating and willing to move these items for no additional charge. I ended up paying exactly what was quoted in the initial estimate (a very reasonable price for the service we received!!) I was honestly worried, as I've got a piano and many fragile items. But in the end, the movers completed the move easily didn't damage our stuff at all--with one minor exception being some Christmas ornaments that just fell during packing. Overall, the move was far better than I thought it would be. Granted, I have fairly low expectations for moving companies within NYC and I can't speak to the experiences of others, but on the basis of my experience I would go with them again. If you are deciding whether or not to book them take this review as a sign that you should NEVER work with them and go with another company. I had gone with them for my move because I had used them last year. And even though the move last year was mediocre (late arrival, workers spending time to use my bathroom without asking, slow communication, etc) I still decided to go with them because they gave a really nice return customer discount which was far below all of the other quotes that I saw around. When I first started to communicate with them everything was going pretty well. Communication was quick and I had all my questions answered quickly and efficiently. However, after I paid my deposit and COI charges everything went downhill from there. I had worked it out with David before to have my COIs sent out ASAP due to the request of my buildings since I was told they usually send out the COIs 1-2 days before a move. They were able to send out the COIs early last year during my other move so I knew it was possible albeit they were also very laggy on that last year as well but still got done. David told me to message him a weekend two weeks before my move to make sure my COIs were sent out which I did with no answer. I gave them till the following Monday and still no message after asking again. After some badgering I finally received a message on Wednesday saying he would check in with me by tomorrow and let me know. And still no update or answer. This went on till the next Monday where I never received an answer to a simple "Is my COI sent out like you promised" question. During this whole time I am pretty sure they were fielding my calls as well because I was always sent straight to voicemail. Finally, after no actual response and no idea what was going to happen with a move that was seeming to probably never happen I asked them directly if this move was going to happen and never received a response. So that forced me to find another moving company around 4 days before my move. Which really amplified my anxiety on top of an already stressful situation such as moving. This whole situation just felt like such a scam - they got their money and completely ghosted and did not give any service or just basic communication. They handled this situation so unprofessionally. Heed this warning and NEVER work with Clean Cut Moving.

They scheduled a zoom/facetime walk-thru of my apartment to see what I needed and to give me a better quote. I had started packing already and got all my own boxes so it was easy to see what I had left. What I really liked was the 'no BS' hidden fees. It was one price that wouldn't change, no matter the hours or added last minute box. Of course my move was scheduled and it had to snow. Thankfully this didn't stop them. 4 guys showed up right on time (during a snow storm on a friday morning rush hour in the city). They walked thru and got a game plan, then brought up all the blankets and plastic wrap and got to work. TVs were dismounted and put in boxes, mattresses were put in boxes as well. The amount of blankets they used to wrap my furniture made me so happy. While they took their time, they were still hustling - running from the truck to the apartment. Once we got to my new place, they covered my stairs with runners and wore plastic booties to ensure my floors weren't messed up. I wish I had bought the wall mount for my TVs for my new place, because they offered to set me up. The only thing I was disappointed about was that my couch didn't fit thru the garage entry so it was left in the garage. I wish they had tried thru the front door but they were adamant that it still wouldn't fit. After 7 hours, I wasn't going to push them. Regardless, would 100% recommend Veterans Movers and also hope Roadway doesn't ruin this small-business. I wish I could remember the 4 guys that helped me move to give them a shoutout! Thx!!!
