Decided to try again with a new student year. Sure glad I did! Ordered the salmon meal, $11. Includes a homemade roll, fresh vegetable, rice (I got double veg instead), iced tea, and a chocolate torte for dessert. Salmon had a maple whiskey sauce and it was grilled on a cedar plank - perfectly done.. I could eat it every day, enjoyed it that much. The massive Corned beef Reuben sandwich $8 was made with house cooked corned beef that was not fatty at all. They use a swirl rye bread and don't skimp on kraut or cheese. It came with a huge 1/2 dill pickle and potato salad. Also ordered the white truffle mac n cheese $11 topped with roasted winter vegetables which came with a roll, drink and dessert. Desserts are always a stand out here. Today was an apple struesel ala mode and a rich chocolate raspberry torte. Always save room for dessert - don't miss them! Weekly menu includes soups, sandwiches, salads, entrees and fantastic desserts. Chef O, the instructor for the program, previously worked at the Pomeroy House and you will see some of their recipes included in the menu rotation. For instance, the Pomeroy Salad is a staple. So coming here is a no brainer - get a gourmet meal at a Denny's price :) Notes: The restaurant is operated and staffed with students. Sometimes it can be a bit of a wait to get your meal. Plan accordingly, don't go if you are in a rush. Only open for lunch during the school year. Sometimes it is tough to get a table. Calling ahead for reservation is strongly suggested.. Normally I defer to Apple direct for issues like this, I took the recommendation from Apple's site as a solid endorsement and scheduled my visit. I was pleased to find a same-day appointment available and dropped off around noon. I was pleasantly greeted and hung out while they performed a basic diagnostic. When it confirmed only the battery replacement was necessary I took my receipt and headed home. How pleased was I to have a call the next day at 2:00 telling me my computer was ready for pick up! All in all a great experience though I know I can't count on parts always arriving next day. In any case, I'll definitely check here first should I require any more Apple product service. P. S. They have a great display of near-mint vintage Apple hardware!

Mine there told me it would be $200 +75 labor, and this was in line with what I was seeing the prices were online. I want to first give a kudos for Mike NOT charging that bullshit transaction fee that so many places are starting to do. So good on Mike for that one. The install job he did itself was great but there was a significant problem: this new screen was a generic 3rd party screen that was significantly smaller in size and noticeable because the S22 and up from Samsung have a semi curved edge that gives the phone a unique look. This was not the case with this new screen. Also this screen is incapable of producing 120hz even though the phone setting will still say that it's on. I mentioned this to Mike and I'm not trying to verbally beat the guy up in this review but he did get defensive and dismissive about it. I showed him side by side two identical phones (the one having this generic screen) the difference between 60hz and 120hz. He really wasn't interested. In the end I just requested that he puts the old cracked screen back on and I reluctantly had to make him a deal where he'd get this sub par screen back and keep $40 out of all this. So he did refund the money and losing out $40 was still better than making a civil case out of this. But I'm just left wondering how someone who works on screens doesn't know the difference in screen refresh rates.
