Normally I defer to Apple direct for issues like this, I took the recommendation from Apple's site as a solid endorsement and scheduled my visit. I was pleased to find a same-day appointment available and dropped off around noon. I was pleasantly greeted and hung out while they performed a basic diagnostic. When it confirmed only the battery replacement was necessary I took my receipt and headed home. How pleased was I to have a call the next day at 2:00 telling me my computer was ready for pick up! All in all a great experience though I know I can't count on parts always arriving next day. In any case, I'll definitely check here first should I require any more Apple product service. P. S. That grace was not returned. Communication dried up almost entirely; getting any update required repeated follow-up on my end, and long stretches went by with no response at all. Eventually I was told the repair was complete and asked to pay for the work. I paid. After payment, I was told the unit had been "lost in the mail." No tracking information, no resolution, no refund, no replacement -- just silence. I was charged in full for a repair on an item I never received back. I'm out both the cost of the repair and the value of the unit itself, with no explanation and no accountability offered. If you're considering sending equipment here, think carefully. My experience was: months of delay and excuses, then a story that changed once money changed hands, and a unit that conveniently vanished right after I paid. EZ Tech Computers quickly diagnosed and fixed the laptop, and over-delivered in terms of "time to fix". The entire experience, from the initial phone call to the now working laptop was fantastic! The diagnosis and options for fixing the laptop were presented to me in a professional, "no bs" type of way. Mine there told me it would be $200 +75 labor, and this was in line with what I was seeing the prices were online. I want to first give a kudos for Mike NOT charging that bullshit transaction fee that so many places are starting to do. So good on Mike for that one. The install job he did itself was great but there was a significant problem: this new screen was a generic 3rd party screen that was significantly smaller in size and noticeable because the S22 and up from Samsung have a semi curved edge that gives the phone a unique look. This was not the case with this new screen. Also this screen is incapable of producing 120hz even though the phone setting will still say that it's on. I mentioned this to Mike and I'm not trying to verbally beat the guy up in this review but he did get defensive and dismissive about it. I showed him side by side two identical phones (the one having this generic screen) the difference between 60hz and 120hz. He really wasn't interested. In the end I just requested that he puts the old cracked screen back on and I reluctantly had to make him a deal where he'd get this sub par screen back and keep $40 out of all this. So he did refund the money and losing out $40 was still better than making a civil case out of this. But I'm just left wondering how someone who works on screens doesn't know the difference in screen refresh rates.

Rather than addressing his own lack of technical knowledge he began blaming and berating the previous provider and everyone else involved. Needless to say, we are now hosting with a professional company, who completed all the transfers within an hour! Weldon PC does not have sufficient technical skills for business support or anything beyond basic skills. Beware!
