This is by far my favorite soft served place. I would come here often if it were closer (it is a half an hour drive for me). But, I am sad they did not serve the black sesame and real milk swirl anymore. But, the real milk is still really good. It is also not that expensive compare to some other places that I have tried. I would definitely recommend if you are around! read more

This was underwhelming. The affogato and matcha soft ice cream were nothing special and expensive. The size is literally 6 Oz. If you look at the picture I took, you will understand how unappetizing the soft serve looks. The affogato is simple coffe and soft serve. read more

First time here and it was delicious! Loved my vanilla strawberry and hubby got the Thai tea vanilla. Both were really good soft serve! Just pricey for the amount you get. But that's kind of the new normal if you want to eat out nowadays. read more

Honestly I thought this place was a great dessert place at The Source! There's a variety of dessert items to choose from. My friend and I got the earl grey soft serve and the strawberry soft serve. The soft serve was creamy and an excellent level of sweetness and the presentation was very cute. The earl gray one was especially good because I like tea flavored things. It tasted exactly like earl gray tea. The strawberry one was good as well albeit it's pretty standard for a strawberry ice cream dessert. It's just milk soft serve with strawberries layered on it with some strawberry purée at the bottom. If I were at The Source and craving ice cream, I'd definitely come back here. read more

Unique dessert shop, located in Buena Park's premier Korean mall, The Source. Overflo is on the ground floor, in a spacious, blindingly bright white space. The menu offers soft serve ice cream, gelato, cream pancakes, made to order waffles, and unique creations like the "Overflo", a sweet brioche bun filled with ice cream. One hour before closing, on a weekday, they were sold out of nearly everything. I opted for the Strawberry Overflo, which was good, but not great. The brioche was slightly stale in texture and flavor, and the ice cream was extremely icy. Regardless, I felt the combination was better than the sum of its parts. My fiancé got the Offle Waffle (original flavor), which is essentially a gigantic made to order Stroopwaffle. Still warm, the gooey center oozed into each bite. It is quite thin, so your sweet tooth will be satisfied without feeling like you ate too much. You must get one of these. I would like to try more of the menu next time we are in the area. read more

Yum!! Loved this addition inside the Source. It's conveniently located on the first floor next to the stage and has a cute orange storefront. I came here twice and tried the Overflo w mint chip ice cream and the Black Sea Salt soft serve. Loved them both! The only reason I knocked off one star is because when I came the second time, they didn't have the Overflo available (but not a problem in the end bc I got the soft serve and fell in love with black sea salt). This has got be the SORRIEST soft serve of ALL places. It's literally just vanilla soft serve with pumped sugar on top... it's not even mixed into the soft serve. We ordered the the Thai Tea soft serve and it was vanilla soft serve with Thai tea syrup on top... real price of crap. How does a place like this stay open? It's terrible. They hire dumb teenagers to man the register and don't know anything on the menu. Tables were dirty and sticky. I don't believe they know how to clean. With ALL the 1 and 2 stars, we still gave it a shot and instantly regret it. Steer clear of this place. Even on the hottest day in Buena Park, people don't come here, just the newbies. Do not try, don't even look at it, the desserts suck as much as the service. read more

A new soft serve ice cream shop that opened up at The Source! Overflo serves all combos of ice cream with brioche bread and waffles. They are known for their soft serve ice cream. I got the Thai tea soft serve ice and brioche bread with green tea gelato. I'm a huge fan of Thai tea so had to try it. Their strongly brewed tea balances out with the sweetness of their signature milk soft ice cream. Great combo! However, it melts fast. The brioche bread was a french pastry that's puffy, making each bite rich. Their green tea powder was a bit bitter. But still a great dessert option! read more

Have been eyeing this place for a long time and finally got to try Overflo! Their ice creams are just as tasty as they are pretty, and also a decent size. I was with some other people and we ordered 3 different flavors to share. We got the green tea, strawberry, and banana soft ice creams and it came out to around $20 for all three. The ice cream is beautifully soft and creamy, and the toppings they add to it give lots of flavor and enhance the ice cream. The green tea powder they add to the ice cream adds a nice bitterness that cuts through the sweetness of the ice cream, but the ice cream definitely isn't super sweet to begin with. The strawberry was nice as well with the puree that they add. The only one that wasn't super great was the banana, as the fresh banana that they added on top of the ice cream wasn't ripe, so the banana was a little hard when biting into it. All in all, I would definitely recommend checking out Overflo if you're looking for a sweet treat. Parking is easy in the large attached garage off Beach Blvd. read more

We tried the milk soft serve and it was pretty delicious. However, service and standards of cleanliness were not up to par. We waited 15 minutes on an early Friday afternoon to be served from the machine. After the long wait, the spoon that came with the ice cream has strawberry syrup on it. When asked the server rudely replied "it's strawberry." All they did was switch out the spoon, and off we went. No apology. In fact, we overheard them talking smack in English as we walked away. Additionally, workers wore masks behind the counter but not when preparing food, where's the consistency (especially with the COVID surge). When I saw this place first time I thought i would go many times but after today's experience, i never go again. read more

Overflo more like over- NO. As the young lady working this evening said to us after we purchased when asked if we could sit outside on the very empty tables. The whole building being empty today in general and we truly wanted to give business to local businesses and be supportive and yet with a total lack of appreciation we were denied for no apparent reason other than the fact that she said yes until she looked at all of us and our eclectic colorful looks. The waffle was also stale and all around disappointing. This is hospitality so if you cannot be hospitable you need to rethink your business. read more

Stopped by last night, placed the order of full milk ice cream, waited for 20mins then informed the machine wasn't working anymore. Got our ordered canceled and had to go to somewhere else. Bad experience, never tried the ice cream. The server seems to try hard to fixing the machine, but wish there were better communications. Went to somi somi in Fullerton instead. read more

I came here thinking they were still selling the stuffed waffles like they used to, but it wasn't on the menu anymore. We needed a cold treat to enjoy for the hot day so we got the half and half soft serve. It was half milk and half chocolate flavor. I really enjoyed how you can really taste the milk flavor and the chocolate flavor. The consistency of the ice cream was a bit off, but it was still good. We got our order within a minute of ordering. I would still come back here to try the other flavors! read more

The food was nice, but the person who took my order (presumably the owner of the store) was very rude in general. He cut me out a few times when I asked questions about the menu, simply ignored me even though I attempted multiple times. I've never been here, so I asked a question of a specific drink, and it would've taken less than 2 sentences to answer. The order took almost half an hour for 2 drinks. The drink was ok, a bit pricey for the quality but good. read more

Considering they look a little extra fancy and modernized over a traditional pho place, the prices are still pretty good. Work on that beef flavor!

Over the years they expanded their menu but their staple imo is the galbi tang or beef bone soup. It comes with 2 pieces of large beef bones. The soup is delicious and is paired perfect with the mustard sauce. There are other delicious offering such as the thistle rice bowl. I'd say because of the limited menu everything is great. The parking lot can be packed especially in the weekend as all the church goes come by. Most of the clienteles are usually middle aged or older so you know they know what authentic Korean food is. The service is extremely efficient and very friendly. The place is clean just like most Korean restaurants. Nothing to complain about. Order the galbi tang and you'll be coming back.

Jjamppong with tang suyuk combo and egg fried rice is our go to. Also appreciate the water station that offers both hot and cold water.
