Make sure they have called you to let you know the items are ready for pick up first before heading over. Pay at the cashier by the entrance. Returns are also done at the back of the store. If orders are made through an account, the refund is credited back to the account. Big parking lot out front. Convenient to replace simple things for the car like cabin air filter.

As a student on a budget, I'm not able to afford fancy cars or do expensive modding. But I could do something within my student wallet means on an older car. I decided the first thing I wanted to do was add on a spoiler. I talked to one of my car-loving friends and he recommended Garage Five Performance Tuning to me. I emailed Garage Five some inquiries, and Rob was polite and professional in his replies. I think he's the owner or manager. I bought a spoiler for my car on eBay and had it shipped from US to Canada. I was a bit nervous about this because I've never done anything like this before. I was really careful and did my due diligence in making sure it was correct for my car model and the factory paint matching the vehicle -- and I had emailed all of that to Rob. Rob was very helpful. He was transparent about pricing and on the time needed to install it. The staff at Garage Five were very professional, friendly, and did a wonderful job installing the spoiler onto the car. They found a defective problem with the spoiler lights (which would be the fault of the eBay seller). I've uploaded a photo of the car spoiler. This is a pretty big place and can be confusing. One side is all about the parts, the other side is…read morethe used cars? We called to check they have the part before heading here. We went to the office to ask about the part and was told to head to a big tent area and ask the person there for it. The tent was filled with so many motor parts and many more outside. The whole place looked like a junkyard except it was all about automobiles. The broken cars all stacked up and others just waiting to be smashed reminded me of the movie "Cars". The guy couldn't find the part in the tent and we followed him outside to another section filled with engines. He quickly removed the alternator from the engine. Unfortunately the amp was a different one from what we have. We told the staff inside the office. They tried to find some but there was none. They were helpful in telling us to try other auto shops which may have the parts. No hard selling or pressure tactics here.

They managed to dig out a tail light at the last minute to replace my duct taped one as well. The location is great, right off the ramp to Mitchell Island from the Knight St bridge. I'm not familiar with Mitchell Island so it was good to know that I didn't have to look too hard to find it. Dave also has a great sense of humour in person, although not much of a phone guy. A tiny orange cat hangs out at the shop with many mechanics coming and going who might be able to help you out with basic vehicle questions. If you have a problem with any older vehicle, maybe start out here!
