They got a quality re-built one, and I had my car back the next day. Here at Your Neighbourhood Auto, "honest mechanic" is not just a phrase, but the true ethic of this business. Having car problems? This is the place to get 'em fixed! Had to go see Brad and Kate again, this time for front brake pads -- the grinding was a pretty loud indicator that my brakes weren't safe. It seems my timing was good, as Brad was able to get my car up on the hoist right away...with brake pads installed within a couple of hours! Wow. Just wow. Next visit, a new tie rod. I really should bake them a yummy cake or something!

At one point i had become so frustrated by my experiences that i went to auto mechanics school so i could learn how to fix my own car, and the cars of my friends. I did it, and i do it. I also try to keep people from getting taken in by shops who throw parts at problems, upsell unnecessarily, just don't have the tools or knowledge to fix the problems properly or in a timely manner. I do it, my wife says, because i am hyper-sensitive baby. If you have a problem you need solved, john can solve it. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My partner and I went to look at a car for myself. My partner told the sales rep, Sebastian,…read moremultiple times that the car was for his girlfriend. Sales rep confirmed the car was for me. He asked my boyfriend for his ID so he could do the test drive when I was the one driving. We tried to negotiate the price of a used car with the sales rep. The car was previously an evo which was not disclosed in the ad and Sebastian had no pictures from when the car was put on aution due to an accident. We tried to negotiate the price of the car and asked if he would speak with his manager to even consider our offer since the car has been on the lot for more than a month. The sales rep refused to even go speak to his manager. He even encouraged us to buy from a different dealership entirely because it was a better price. After further discussion, he said he had someone coming on Friday that he was sure was serious and would buy - he emphasized that was because the person interested is a woman. My partner and I left at this point, beyond annoyed that the sales rep refused to even speak with his manager and the blatant sexism.

The manager Eric kept interrupting me as well & he called me condescending on the phone. I asked for an in person meeting & I feel I'm getting no where wit's this huge company. i just want a key that I have confidence in that will work. Replacing a battery doesn't mean it doesn't have glitches. Do not use this company. They just don't care about the customer. Plus I was quoted 450 for key fob I ended up paying over $700. they just don't care.

I used Bruno Automotive in 1994 I was satisfied with their work, I was happy to hear that Buno was able to get my car back on the road, especially since other mechanics didn't want to take on such a project. The bill was expensive, at the same time after reviewing my bill many times, & doing research. My bill was well justified, infact Bruno solved a problem without an extra charge, I guess the problem worked itself out from all the work Bruno Automotive did on my car, which was after I had my engine rebuilt in 1995 my engine lost horse power/it didn't kick in to warp speed when I floor my car going up the cut on the #1freeway heading west. I thought this power was lost forever. I would have paid anything to get my additional horse power back, now it's back without any additional costs. Yippee!!
