A very okay experience. Decided to try some Italian food to break up the constant Spanish food we had been having for every meal - it satisfied our need but the food and experience itself was very much just okay. Our greatest annoyance was it took us nearly 45 min to order our food. The menu is accessible via a QR code but no one in my party could use data as we were all traveling from the US. The waiter told us connect to the restaurant's Wi-Fi. We tried to do so for 30 min but none of us could connect to it due to very poor connection. We asked if there was a physical menu we could read since we couldn't access the menu via our phones and the waiter would tell us to be patient and left. After sitting for 40 min failing at every attempt to connect to their Wi-Fi, our waiter finally gave us a physical menu.

Lovely little Italian restaurant near the middle of everything. I had a great pasta fish with red wine followed by a great homemade tiramisu. Service was excellent and they worked well with my lack of an ability to speak Spanish. Highly recommended.

Oven Mozzarella Bar is a chain Italian restaurant in Madrid. We visited on a whim when we were hungry and searching for lunch. The interior environment is clean and simple, with a clear view of the cooking area and a chain-restaurant aesthetic. Service was prompt and friendly. Food arrived fresh. Menu selection was quite good. Food quality was fine but not amazing. Except that the Caprese Salad was great, and loved by two of our party. Everything was fine, but I would not return here - much better Italian places around.

Mushroom and truffle pappardelle (not that great)

Food: I got the popular "mushroom and truffle pappardelle". It kinda felt like I was eating food from a upscale Olive Garden. It clearly is a chain restaurant. The pasta itself was good but the sauce was mainly just cream, it lacked any flavor. The wine was cheap, but they served me cold red wine in a chilled glass. Atmosphere: very nice and cozy inside. Big restaurant with lots of seating. Service: The service was pretty good! The waiters were helpful and the food came out decently fast. Price: About $14 for a nice pasta dish. Overall: I was pretty disappointed by Oven, maybe I will go back to try their pizzas.

the only reason for any stars at all is the tastiness of the dish. i have to leave correction where it's needed and this was an absolutely terrible experience in terms of costumer service. two different waitresses saw my family and i during our stay. from the time we were seated to the time we left, they were both beyond rude, aggressive, sarcastic, condescending, etc. i could go on and on about how upset we were with the service they provided. will not be returning because of these two ladies.

The margarita pizza I order was just okay. It was kinda dry and could have used more sauce or something. The service was decent.

The restaurant is very pretty and the staff is welcoming. We arrived before our reservation and were seated. We had a party of 9 and they were able to give good service despite the large party size. We had some pizza for an appetizer and I had lasagna and my husband had spaghetti bologense . This is the first restaurant that didn't over salt the food and everything came out hot!! The bar serves wine and aperol spritz only so no cocktails to sip here. We did receive some limoncello at the end of the meal which was perfectly chilled. I would recommend this lovely spot in Madrid!

The food's quality was terrible: - The pizza ingredients were very low quality and not well distributed. - We ordered a simple margherita and it didnt even contain basil leaves. - We ordered a different pizza with egg and bacon: it was also really bad. - Even the balsamic vinegar was bad. (They only had once of these thick vinegar bottles, and the cap was all dirty) - the focaccia was the worst: It has a thick section that was half baked, and the rest of it looked like a thin crispy bread/cookie For the staff: - The staff tried to avoid adding the discount from the reservation. After complaining, they fixed it, but you shouldn't need to complain to prevent being charged extra. - The staff was a bit lost on what was their menu. - They were polite at least The restaurant: - This used to be a different restaurant, one of the best pizza places in Madrid. About aprox. 2 years ago, the owner sold the restaurant and a different one was put in place of it. However, they decided to keep the name of the restaurants as well as all the excellent reviews it had in apps like yelp and trip advisor. While it could be a bit unfair to compare, as it is a completely different restaurant, in which only the name of it remained, the restaurant now has cheaper prices than the original one from years ago, but the ingredients are even cheaper, so in reality, the quality to prize ratio got a massive negative impact.

The restaurant is on a nice small street, so while wandering the area we just happened to stumble upon it on our first day in Madrid. When I saw that it was authentic pasta, I figured it would be great to give it a try, and I'm so glad that we did. We went on a Sunday, the same day as El Rastro, huge weekly flea market in the La Latina neighborhood. The streets were packed and so was Nina. However, we snagged a large community table in the back. One important tip about going on Sunday- they have a limited menu due to the amount of people coming because of El Rastro. The menu offers 2-3 tapas, and only 2 lunch options. But don't worry because both options are AMAZING. Their carbonara and Gnocci are to die for! We also had tinto de Verano to drink (sangria) that was also really yummy. We loved this place so much that on our last full day we had to return for one more meal! We went on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch, perfect time because it wasn't crowded and they also had their full menu available. We were happy to be greeted by the same lovely servers who remembered us from Sunday. My fiancé went with the carbonara again and I tried one of their daily specials, and OMG I am so glad so did. They offered a pappardelle black truffle and parmesan pasta and it was life changing to say the least. I spent time thinking about how I can bring some back to the US. I also tried to savor each bite by eating very slowly lol. During that meal we also had the gnocchi bravas, their take on the classic patatas bravas. That also was amazing, and a nice change since we'd been eating the traditional bravos all week. Please, please, please if you're in Madrid stop by Ninas Pasta Bar for lunch. You will not regret it and you probably will think about the pasta for the rest of your trip, like I did!!
