Margarita Pizza. Tomato and garlic Focaccia

Our Airbnb host recommended this restaurant and I am so glad that he did. The restaurant was conveniently across the street from our place and we made it right at closing but the owner was super gracious and allowed us to sit. We were welcomed by the owner Fernando who told us he was closing but he could still make some of the dishes from the menu for us. He spoke English very well and was very helpful in answering our questions about the menu. We got a margarita pizza, tomato and garlic focaccia, and four cheese pizza. All of our food was very tasty. We will definitely be going back!

Little Italian Gem My boyfriend and I dined here on our second night in Madrid. The owner and his wife exceeded our customer service expectations. The restaurant has a very quaint and homey feel. As Americans who do not speak Spanish we were pleasantly surprised when the owner/chef left the kitchen to translate and answer our questions. He lived in New Jersey for 10 years prior to moving to Spain. For antipasti we dined on tomato and mozzarella bruschetta, which was phenomenal. It's was very fresh and delicious. My boyfriend had the chicken Marsala and I had the shrimp and clam pasta with linguine. We thoroughly enjoyed both of our meals. My pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. For dessert I chose the Nutella and dulce de leche crepe with a cappuccino. This place does not disappoint. We ended our meal with complimentary shots of limoncello. I highly recommend dining here.

Prosciutto e Funghi pizza. freshly prepared dough and delicious toppings of mushrooms and tomatoes.

Without a doubt, from all the restaurants in Madrid, Il Regno di Napoli had the friendliest above-and-beyond service, exceptional dishes no matter what we ordered, and reasonable prices considering the great portion sizes and quality. To help us with our course choices, the chef (and owner) Fernando personally came out to greet us and greeted us and personally made recommendations based on our preferences to order the perfect dishes. Even if you are far from here, it is definitely worth the walk/drive because it is the best Italian food we have had the pleasure of encountering in Spain.

The buratta

Don't pass this little Italian restaurant by. From the moment we stepped in the door we were taken care of. The chef Fernando and his wife Greta make a great team. Both of them are very warm and welcoming and both helped to direct us to a fantastic Naples style Italian meal. The Buratta was rich and fresh and the pasta was delicious. If you want great Italian food and a personal experience I would recommend dining at this little gem

Menu

Delicious! Visiting a friend in Madrid, and we wanted some classic, fresh Italian food to mix it up from tapas - and this did not disappoint. Caprese to start was light and fresh, followed by well-prepared and traditionally cooked al denté pasta dishes. Very reasonable prices!

Intimate setting, delicious food, English-speaking staff.

Based on other reviews my wife and I had lunch here yesterday. It did not disappoint and was among the best meals we have had in Madrid.

The hostess was kind enough to have us wait only 5 minutes and then place us in a table for two with an added chair to accommodate us. The service was very friendly. We received bread and olives on the house as we sat down. We ordered the pasta with salmon and vodka sauce so yummy, the lasagna and the tortelloni pasta filled with pumpkin. All the dishes were very good and we also ordered a bottle of wine. At the end for dessert we ordered a tiramisu and a cheesecake which were so so creamy and delicious. Once again at the end they gave us some limoncello on the house. Overall a very nice dining experience we will definitely be back!

The restaurant is very pretty and the staff is welcoming. We arrived before our reservation and were seated. We had a party of 9 and they were able to give good service despite the large party size. We had some pizza for an appetizer and I had lasagna and my husband had spaghetti bologense . This is the first restaurant that didn't over salt the food and everything came out hot!! The bar serves wine and aperol spritz only so no cocktails to sip here. We did receive some limoncello at the end of the meal which was perfectly chilled. I would recommend this lovely spot in Madrid!

Quick note before the review: This is not the same restaurant it used to be some years ago. Old…read more5-star reviews were well deserved by that time. The food's quality was terrible: - The pizza ingredients were very low quality and not well distributed. - We ordered a simple margherita and it didnt even contain basil leaves. - We ordered a different pizza with egg and bacon: it was also really bad. - Even the balsamic vinegar was bad. (They only had once of these thick vinegar bottles, and the cap was all dirty) - the focaccia was the worst: It has a thick section that was half baked, and the rest of it looked like a thin crispy bread/cookie For the staff: - The staff tried to avoid adding the discount from the reservation. After complaining, they fixed it, but you shouldn't need to complain to prevent being charged extra. - The staff was a bit lost on what was their menu. - They were polite at least The restaurant: - This used to be a different restaurant, one of the best pizza places in Madrid. About aprox. 2 years ago, the owner sold the restaurant and a different one was put in place of it. However, they decided to keep the name of the restaurants as well as all the excellent reviews it had in apps like yelp and trip advisor. While it could be a bit unfair to compare, as it is a completely different restaurant, in which only the name of it remained, the restaurant now has cheaper prices than the original one from years ago, but the ingredients are even cheaper, so in reality, the quality to prize ratio got a massive negative impact.

Perfectly cooked being crunchy yet soft inside. And the salsas that came with the dish were great. For the pasta dish, I had the Pappardelle Boletus and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is on a nice small street, so while wandering the area we just happened to stumble upon it on our first day in Madrid. When I saw that it was authentic pasta, I figured it would be great to give it a try, and I'm so glad that we did. We went on a Sunday, the same day as El Rastro, huge weekly flea market in the La Latina neighborhood. The streets were packed and so was Nina. However, we snagged a large community table in the back. One important tip about going on Sunday- they have a limited menu due to the amount of people coming because of El Rastro. The menu offers 2-3 tapas, and only 2 lunch options. But don't worry because both options are AMAZING. Their carbonara and Gnocci are to die for! We also had tinto de Verano to drink (sangria) that was also really yummy. We loved this place so much that on our last full day we had to return for one more meal! We went on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch, perfect time because it wasn't crowded and they also had their full menu available. We were happy to be greeted by the same lovely servers who remembered us from Sunday. My fiancé went with the carbonara again and I tried one of their daily specials, and OMG I am so glad so did. They offered a pappardelle black truffle and parmesan pasta and it was life changing to say the least. I spent time thinking about how I can bring some back to the US. I also tried to savor each bite by eating very slowly lol. During that meal we also had the gnocchi bravas, their take on the classic patatas bravas. That also was amazing, and a nice change since we'd been eating the traditional bravos all week. Please, please, please if you're in Madrid stop by Ninas Pasta Bar for lunch. You will not regret it and you probably will think about the pasta for the rest of your trip, like I did!!
