Chicken piccata was awful. It is pre cooked chicken which has been refrigerated and then reheated.

We had just arrived today from the US and were looking for a yummy Italian restaurant for a late lunch/early dinner. Found this on yelp and decided to give it a try. We started with a Margarita Pizza and it was delicious. For our main entree we all decided to order the Chicken Piccata because we were hungry and wanted something with protein and this was a total miss. The chicken was cold in the middle which leads us to believe they precook the chicken and refrigerate it and just warm it up with the sauce. We sent one back because it was ice cold and they gave us a new one and the same thing happened. Needless to say we will not be coming back here. It's unfortunate because the service was good and the ambiance was also very cozy.

Came here with friends for our first dinner in Madrid. Definitely worth it. Food: I got the carbonara and my wife got a vodka based meal but every body loved their meal, it was the perfect meal all around without feeling too heavy despite heavier foods. Service: great service, nothing to really say. Ambiance: right by Estacion del Arte, it's a very pretty place right near a huge strip of shopping and restaurants.

Pastas are delicious - we tried three different ones - all worthwhile including the Diavolo, truffle mushroom fettuccine and gnocchi. Great cocktails but on the sweeter side Service - excellent and friendly. Ambiance - clean and modern.

Amazing food, great service! Highly recommend!! Little whole in the wall but don't let that fool you!!

Mozzarella caprese - Fig & goat cheese ravioli

We found this restaurant while we were out walking around. It has a nice pleasant atmosphere. Service was excellent. We ordered the Mozzarella caprese and the Fig & Goat Cheese Ravioli. Both were excellent choices. The caprese was nice and fresh, and mozzarella was terrific. The fig & goat cheese in the ravioli were expertly combined, so one did not overpower the other. The sauce/gravy was excellent. Ordered the Tinto de verano, which was delicious and refreshing.

Food was good and service was excellent. We shared one of the shareable plate. Forgot the name but it was a good snack before dinner. Just did not like that the menu was only online. Sometimes the QR code does not work for folks that are traveling from overseas.

Located conveniently close to Puerta de Atocha train station, this spot provided us with a tasty meal while we were staying at the nearby Only You Hotel. The salmon and avocado salad was excellent and the burrata salad was tasty except for a couple tomatoes that seemed a bit past prime. The four cheese pizza was decent and we enjoyed a local red wine that was 16 euros for the bottle. Service was friendly and not terribly slow like some places we visited in Spain. I would come back here. The only detracting factors were that some random guy came out of nowhere and seemed to drunkenly fall on the person sitting next to us. He was promptly escorted out but kind of sketchy. Also, this place does a robust business with local bike deliveries who kept coming in and leaving the door open, which made things kind of cold on a January night. Not a bad pick though considering limited options in this area.

Went with a group of 7 and each said the food was amazing! Staff was nice and very helpful when you got their attention. Didn't have all the cocktails we wanted but still had great tinto de veranoand wine. Rigatoni al Fondo was amazing.

Great for Americans! Our waiter spoke some English and they had English menus for our Oklahoman selves. I had the shrimp linguini and the hubby had the chicken piccata. Both were delicious along with our bread basket and sangrias. Really enjoyed ourselves and it was relaxing. Adorable decor and the window was open! Outdoor seating is available.

While on a 7 hour layover in Madrid between trains we wondered around and our eye was caught by Ôven. We had had our fill of tapas and sangria for the week we spent in Spain and decided to go for something a little different. Boy are we glad we did! Let's start with the interior. It is beautifully designed and decorated. Very pleasing to the eye and very cozy and relaxing while retaining its fine dining look. The food was really good and very affordable for a restaurant in downtown Madrid. We had the Margherita Pizza, and a full bottle of Lambrusco (for only €10!)

We were craving some good Italian food and this hit the spot. The four cheese pizza was one of the best pizzas I have ever had in my life. The pasta was great and the Biscotti was beyond yummy. The service was excellent, especially Amolio and Joe. Plan on coming back soon!

The restaurant is very pretty and the staff is welcoming. We arrived before our reservation and were seated. We had a party of 9 and they were able to give good service despite the large party size. The food's quality was terrible: - The pizza ingredients were very low quality and not well distributed. - We ordered a simple margherita and it didnt even contain basil leaves. - We ordered a different pizza with egg and bacon: it was also really bad. - Even the balsamic vinegar was bad. (They only had once of these thick vinegar bottles, and the cap was all dirty) - the focaccia was the worst: It has a thick section that was half baked, and the rest of it looked like a thin crispy bread/cookie For the staff: - The staff tried to avoid adding the discount from the reservation. After complaining, they fixed it, but you shouldn't need to complain to prevent being charged extra. - The staff was a bit lost on what was their menu. - They were polite at least The restaurant: - This used to be a different restaurant, one of the best pizza places in Madrid. About aprox. 2 years ago, the owner sold the restaurant and a different one was put in place of it. However, they decided to keep the name of the restaurants as well as all the excellent reviews it had in apps like yelp and trip advisor. While it could be a bit unfair to compare, as it is a completely different restaurant, in which only the name of it remained, the restaurant now has cheaper prices than the original one from years ago, but the ingredients are even cheaper, so in reality, the quality to prize ratio got a massive negative impact.

The restaurant is on a nice small street, so while wandering the area we just happened to stumble upon it on our first day in Madrid. When I saw that it was authentic pasta, I figured it would be great to give it a try, and I'm so glad that we did. We went on a Sunday, the same day as El Rastro, huge weekly flea market in the La Latina neighborhood. The streets were packed and so was Nina. However, we snagged a large community table in the back. One important tip about going on Sunday- they have a limited menu due to the amount of people coming because of El Rastro. The menu offers 2-3 tapas, and only 2 lunch options. But don't worry because both options are AMAZING. Their carbonara and Gnocci are to die for! We also had tinto de Verano to drink (sangria) that was also really yummy. We loved this place so much that on our last full day we had to return for one more meal! We went on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch, perfect time because it wasn't crowded and they also had their full menu available. We were happy to be greeted by the same lovely servers who remembered us from Sunday. My fiancé went with the carbonara again and I tried one of their daily specials, and OMG I am so glad so did. They offered a pappardelle black truffle and parmesan pasta and it was life changing to say the least. I spent time thinking about how I can bring some back to the US. I also tried to savor each bite by eating very slowly lol. During that meal we also had the gnocchi bravas, their take on the classic patatas bravas. That also was amazing, and a nice change since we'd been eating the traditional bravos all week. Please, please, please if you're in Madrid stop by Ninas Pasta Bar for lunch. You will not regret it and you probably will think about the pasta for the rest of your trip, like I did!!
