In my 24hr shopping visit to Madrid Spain I decided to get some dinner at Breaca Italian Resturant. Ambiance: it's very vibez with an upstairs and downstairs that can cater to groups and date night. The walls are old fashion brick wallpaper to give the Italian kitchen feeling. Also have a techno music playing low with a nice energetic feeling. Food: the food menu have choices to pick from; however it sticks heavily to Italian style cooking with minimal dishes with meat and heavy base on pasta and pizza. I had the 5 cheese classic lasagna which was really amazing and my friend Tortilini. There's no bar yet but do have selection of wines, beers, homemade lemonades. We had the bottle of Prosecco Lagioiosa Rose Wine, my goodness was so good! Service: the service was just okay in the sense the waiter and waitress don't speak much English and continuously have to get the manager to translate. The waiter still had a warm smile and check in often. My overall rating is 3.5 because the menu choices should be expanded a bit more, remove the liquor choices until the bar is official, and perhaps have individuals who can provide clarity on the menu. Italian food is supposedly pretty good even in Spain, but maybe that depends on the restaurant. Inside looks nice, with various hanging plants, but it is a bit tight and small. I had los rojos al taleggio, or the cheese stuffed ravioli, ~13euros. The sauce is the familiar sweet tomato base with tastes of pesto and paprika. Although it has decent flavor, it does not stand out much to me, and dish is pretty small, able to be finished in a couple of quick bites. Tortellini della nonna is the better dish for ~14 euros, great al dente texture of the pasta, and super juicy meats sprinkled with the right amount of aged cheese. Although food here is not bad, I wouldn't say it's necessarily better than pasta in the States. I would ultimately recommend against coming here unless you're super tired of eating traditional Spanish food.

Nothing special. Pasta is quality you get at most red table Italian. Came as stated brewpub. Only had one beer which was disappointed.

I loved the food here, by far one of my favorite spots in Madrid. Everything came out fresh and tasting phenomenal. The service was a little slow, and we ended up having to wait 15-20 minutes for a table, but once we were seated it was fine! It's a cute spot, however nothing too fancy, can be considered pretty casual. I got the truffle mushroom pizza and it was amazing! My friend got one of the lasagnas that said it was award winning on the menu and that was probably the best thing on the table, it was vegetarian as well! Also absolutely LOVED how they brought the pizza out, it came uncut but with a little pizza cuter it was so cute!:)

The truffle pasta was to die for.

I went here with my family on my trip to Spain last week. The food was amazing, the service was great. The restaurant was beautiful and clean. Definitely worth a try.

Affordable small Italian spot that's not 100% classic Italian but still delicious. We came on a weeknight and the place was only about 20% full so we were seated immediately and given menus in English. The "favorite lasagne" isn't really lasagne but it's still yummy. The tagliatelle with their house ragu was delicious and I highly recommend. Also the burrata salad hit the spot. Overall I would say if you are craving Italian while in Madrid and don't want to go somewhere too fancy, this is a perfect choice!

Such a great Italian restaurant in Madrid. We try to visit each time we are in Madrid. Service is always prompt and friendly. Prices are really good and oh my, the quality AND QUANTITY of food is amazing. It's hard to choose between a pasta or a pizza. We've had both and they are very good. Also their salads are yummy. I really like the truffle pasta. My hubby like the margareta pizza.

Very good! I had the L'ama trice and my friend got the la papparbella with a bottle of red wine. Highly recommend

Really nice service! They were a little annoyed with the ordering tap water thing, but when in Europe! The food was great, and I loved the ambiance!! Pretty good prices and a wide variety of options as well.

Bresca is a small italian restaurant on calle de los tres pesces (fish street). People here speak some english and there is free wifi! Prices will run about 10-15 euro and they have daily specials priced at 10 euro for 2 little sandwiches(tigella), a main dish and a drink. Not bad! Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. We ordered a tagella pork plate, ravollis and tagliatelle. All of the dishes were well prepared and flavorful. Good mix of cheese and sauce with al dente pasta. Protions are a good size to keep you full during your madrid adventures. Overall, worth a visit if youre looking for Italian food. The hostess was kind enough to have us wait only 5 minutes and then place us in a table for two with an added chair to accommodate us. The service was very friendly. The restaurant is very pretty and the staff is welcoming. We arrived before our reservation and were seated. We had a party of 9 and they were able to give good service despite the large party size. We had some pizza for an appetizer and I had lasagna and my husband had spaghetti bologense . This is the first restaurant that didn't over salt the food and everything came out hot!! The bar serves wine and aperol spritz only so no cocktails to sip here. We did receive some limoncello at the end of the meal which was perfectly chilled. I would recommend this lovely spot in Madrid!

The food's quality was terrible: - The pizza ingredients were very low quality and not well distributed. - We ordered a simple margherita and it didnt even contain basil leaves. - We ordered a different pizza with egg and bacon: it was also really bad. - Even the balsamic vinegar was bad. (They only had once of these thick vinegar bottles, and the cap was all dirty) - the focaccia was the worst: It has a thick section that was half baked, and the rest of it looked like a thin crispy bread/cookie For the staff: - The staff tried to avoid adding the discount from the reservation. After complaining, they fixed it, but you shouldn't need to complain to prevent being charged extra. - The staff was a bit lost on what was their menu. - They were polite at least The restaurant: - This used to be a different restaurant, one of the best pizza places in Madrid. About aprox. 2 years ago, the owner sold the restaurant and a different one was put in place of it. However, they decided to keep the name of the restaurants as well as all the excellent reviews it had in apps like yelp and trip advisor. While it could be a bit unfair to compare, as it is a completely different restaurant, in which only the name of it remained, the restaurant now has cheaper prices than the original one from years ago, but the ingredients are even cheaper, so in reality, the quality to prize ratio got a massive negative impact.

The restaurant is on a nice small street, so while wandering the area we just happened to stumble upon it on our first day in Madrid. When I saw that it was authentic pasta, I figured it would be great to give it a try, and I'm so glad that we did. We went on a Sunday, the same day as El Rastro, huge weekly flea market in the La Latina neighborhood. The streets were packed and so was Nina. However, we snagged a large community table in the back. One important tip about going on Sunday- they have a limited menu due to the amount of people coming because of El Rastro. The menu offers 2-3 tapas, and only 2 lunch options. But don't worry because both options are AMAZING. Their carbonara and Gnocci are to die for! We also had tinto de Verano to drink (sangria) that was also really yummy. We loved this place so much that on our last full day we had to return for one more meal! We went on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch, perfect time because it wasn't crowded and they also had their full menu available. We were happy to be greeted by the same lovely servers who remembered us from Sunday. My fiancé went with the carbonara again and I tried one of their daily specials, and OMG I am so glad so did. They offered a pappardelle black truffle and parmesan pasta and it was life changing to say the least. I spent time thinking about how I can bring some back to the US. I also tried to savor each bite by eating very slowly lol. During that meal we also had the gnocchi bravas, their take on the classic patatas bravas. That also was amazing, and a nice change since we'd been eating the traditional bravos all week. Please, please, please if you're in Madrid stop by Ninas Pasta Bar for lunch. You will not regret it and you probably will think about the pasta for the rest of your trip, like I did!!
